The first time I visited a Honeymee, it was not far from Diamond Bar Jamboree Plaza and I enjoyed the cute cafe atmosphere with a friend. Sadly, the one I mentioned closed and I discovered this one on Yelp when I was in the mood for something cold on a hot 100 degree weather day in April. It's located in the same plaza as 99 Ranch Market. Depending on the time of day you go, parking can be easy or a challenge, due to the limited number of spaces between the market and the other businesses. I went early afternoon, about 2-3 PM, and was able to find a spot without any issues. It's a tiny location - there isn't much in the way of seating. I would say one table and a short bar area in the window with 2-3 seats. It's more of a location where you order and enjoy your treat to go or in the car. Due to the small size of the shop, which is located next to an eye glasses shop, you may need to wait outside if the line is long. Staff were polite and worked quickly to get orders out right away. I went with the milk ice cream with the honey swirl, which comes with a cute little reusable spoon. Consistency is smooth with a light sweetness that isn't too much. (I've noticed recently I'm not big on overly sweet ice creams or frozen treats these days.) The portions are perfect where I have enough for the price I paid for, without being too much to enjoy in a single sitting. If I was ever in the area again while shopping at Sunmerry Bakery (which is across the street in the other plaza), I would consider stopping in again. read more

This is certainly the spot to go if you are craving soft serve. It's good, but I have to admit--it probably isn't my vibe of sweets. Considering the simplicity in how the serves are prepared, I don't see much a value in paying $5.65 for a small soft serve that has honey or caramel drizzled on top. Again, personal preference and I'd still recommend others to give Honeymee a shot! My second small gripe were the employees. They were fairly young so they were mostly just chatting and visibly gossiping behind the cashier. Perfectly normal to do that outside of work, but it showed a lack of professionalism for Honeymee.
