a piece of food in a bowl

this is the terrible and horrified me to having food right here. I ordered fish but only 1 fish with 2$ , very very expensive and also it really small of piece. the service i dont know if they cleaning well or cooling well but i found a dead fly on the tofu with veggies. really really upset. Would not ever recommend people coming here. Expensive and not good attitude either.

I love their Vietnamese che! There's at least 10 che to choose from and you can get mix and match for the buy 5 and get 1 free deal!

The dessert is good. Food is okay. But they need to learn how to treat customers. Some ladies are rude.

Our waiter was very welcoming and friendly and gave us some great recommendations since it was our first time dining there. We tried the following dishes: Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao), Gong Bao Pork, and Stir-Fried La Mian with Vegetables. My favorite dishes were the beef dish and the soup dumplings. I would definitely order those again. It was also really nice to see the chef hand-pull the noodles right behind our table, which added to the whole experience. Overall, both the food and service were excellent. The portions were generous and perfect for sharing. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back again.

This visit, we hosted family from East Texas who'd been here once before. Starting with delicious Xiao Long Bao soup dumplings and Bucks Spare Ribs, we moved on to Ants Climbing Trees (Ma Yi Shang Shu), a classic Sichuan dish of vermicelli cooked with minced pork, in fermented chili sauce, with garlic and green onions, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, crispy bite-size shrimp tossed with green onion, basil, garlic, and jalapeño, and Sichuan Green Beans, stir-fried with garlic, mushrooms, and minced pork. We opted for one order of white rice and one of fried rice with our entrées. The restaurant is almost always packed if you don't have a reservation, but the vibe is relaxed and casual without being loud. In fact, it's so popular, you may have to wait a bit even with a reservation, since they want you to enjoy your meal vs rushing you out to "turn the table."

I don't know if they do this all the time, but it makes me feel special. What make this place extraordinary is the service. I apologize, but I forgot to get her name; long dark glorious wavy hair. The pan friend dumplings were just okay and not what we expected. I would definitely come back if I had dumpling cravings again. The down part of our visit was the service. We had a 4:30 reservation for 2 and called to let them know we may be late. The female we spoke to on the phone was very nice and said they had a 15 min grace period but since they weren't busy, she would hold our table until 5. Luckily, we ended up getting there at 4:38. When we checked in with the host, she said she didn't see any reservation for us. I showed her my confirmation and that I had just called. She spent a few minutes looking on her iPad then said that, unfortunately, they were all booked up and could only see us at the bar or the patio. It was HOT outside and we didn't want to sit at the bar. Not to mention this is early dinner time and most of the tables were not occupied. I told her we didn't want to sit outside or at the bar and wanted to sit at the table we had reserved. She said that since we were late, they had to give our table away and they had "many people coming in at 5 and 5:30" so she couldn't seat us inside. I again explained that I had called and was informed there was a 15 min grace period. She said "Yes there is." ..... we just stared at each other and I finally showed her my phone that said it was 4:42. She spent some more time on her iPad then said she could seat us but we had to leave by 6:30 for the next reservation. I said no problem. She sat us and we didn't see a waiter for about 25 mins. When our waiter finally came he was very nice and we got good service the rest of the time. I did notice that most of the tables stayed empty until right as we were leaving around 6. The host seemed young and maybe didn't know what she was talking about but it was just a really weird interaction when we had a reservation for a near empty restaurant.

Ambiance- 9.5/10 Dim atmosphere with trendy vibes. Cool decor and Jenga to play while waiting for your food. If you don't like dark areas, you can sit outside with umbrellas providing shade. Service- 10/10 Our server was extremely helpful and nice. She recommended excellent dishes and even gave us a plate of chicken wings on the house! Value- 8/10 Good value, especially considering the quality of the food. Most sides were 5-10$, while the entrees were 12-16$. Portions were medium. Food Malaysian Roti- (2 pc, 9.5$)- 9.5/10 Was perfectly flaky and crispy. Came with a flavorful curry dipping sauce. Chili Garlic Edamame- (8$)- 7/10 Everything you would expect. However, it could have more of the chili garlic sauce. They do give you a complementary tray of spicy sauces (including chili oil), so this was not a big deal. Korean Twice Fried Wings- (5 for 14$)- 10/10 Wings were large, so one was the perfect appetizer for a single person. Coated in a heavenly gochujang garlic glaze. Nice and saucy while still being very crispy and juicy. Was my favorite dish we ordered. Pad Thai- (16.5$)- 8.5/10 Came with a fried egg, shrimp, and chicken. Had a hint of spice that elevated it from good to great. Curry Laksa Ramen- (16$)- 9/10 Very flavorful curry broth. Noodles were excellent and also came with tofu and a boiled egg. Overall, every aspect of the resturant was top tier. Would 100% recommend if you are near.

This place is absolutely made for a group outing, and we're already planning to come back with a group to take full advantage. The food was a delight. The Singapore noodles had this wonderful curry flavor that I absolutely loved, and the combo fried rice was just as satisfying. We also ordered the Peking duck (P1 on the menu). It was good, though not quite as flavorful on its own as we'd hoped. That said, once you load it up with the hoisin, cucumber, and spring onions, it all comes together beautifully. The bao buns that came with it were soft and delicious, honestly a highlight. We also sipped on hot jasmine tea throughout, which was the perfect, refreshing complement to the whole meal.
