The coffee is decent but honestly every time I've gone the guy taking the orders is rude and has an attitude. My friend asked for vegan pastries option and the guy told her we don't serve that here. A simple we unfortunately don't have vegan pastries would have been sufficient. Sorry she's trying to give you more of her money. I've been coming to them since they started from the bottom.... The owners are great they have a great attitude..They would also give me here and there and extra free coffee or bread... I love there coffee I've have never tried any like there's and there banana bread yummy.. I always feel welcome and I'm so happy that they finally have two location open well deserved... Went today for the first time. Upon arriving line was out of the door ( which is a good sign) assuming coffee is good. When I ordered two coffees I was warned it would be about a 20-30 minute wait. However I was not prepared for a 1hr wait . At this point I had to ask staff multiple times about the status of my order. They had a huge crowd of people waiting for their drinks ( as food came out fast but drinks took. a long time). Meanwhile they continued to take order after order. I finally got my coffees and was offered a refund or something on the house. Staff were very apologetic but my thought is this- they should have put a stop to orders until they could catch up on drinks. It seemed as though they had the food down as it cane out timely but the drinks they need to improve on. Many people were waiting long after they were done eating for their drinks. The drink ended up tasting really good but cant say I would wait an hour again for it. read more

When I made my way to the barista, he pointed across him and said "you order over there" in a such a "don't come up to me" manner. They were not welcoming, they did not provide me with menu options, and when I ordered I said "regular" and the cashier was like "16oz or 24oz" in such a rude tone. I ordered two coffees and that took 45 mins. There's no way it should've taken that long. There were 3 people in front of me and I counted a total of 6 drinks as they exited. My rating is solely based off of service. This was my first time here. My bf and I came and decided to order both an horchata latte, horchata Vietnamese coffee, and 2 tortas. We got our drinks first and just waited on our food, which I am certain they forgot about because it didn't seem like they have a system or organization of any sort. I went to the guy at the front to remind him we were still waiting on our food and he quickly went to the back to check. He came back chuckling to himself as if they did in fact forget, and just said it'll be right out, no acknowledgement of a close to 30 min wait for tortas. We are outside still waiting when he comes to us and hands us one plate and he says "it's just one order right?" - to which I respond and say no, we have been waiting for 2 food orders, and he says oh, okay! I'll be right back. We wait more time. Then he comes back and hands us a bag this time and says "thanks for waiting." No apology. My bf and I walk to our car and something told me to check our food. We open the first container he handed us and they were tamales. At this point I'm over it, I just want my money back. I walk in and he seems frazzled by my request for my money back and gets another employee involved to which he asks can I get you something else? (Yes, my right order 30+ mins ago would have been lovely!) When we get home we and start eating the torta, we notice it has condiments we asked to be taken off - go figure! This seems like an establishment that is still getting started and I acknowledge that but a little organization goes a long way. Not your average coffee shop more like a pick up and go, after all, it was a bakery before,so there's no room for seating inside, however they do have a park like lunch table out front. It was busy when I arrived line was out the door as you ordered the cashier lets you know the wait is approximately 30 minutes for your coffee however it doesn't feel like it. I arrived at around 9am was out of there by 9:10. Their most popular drink is definitely the Horchata Vietnamese coffee, I witnessed people leaving after I ordered, the cashier was letting them know they sold out. I ordered a 24 oz Horchata latte ( 3shots) with an extra shot. OMG SOOOOO GOOD, was definitely worth the wait and the drive from West Covina. Now I'm a big chilaquiles fan so when I saw they had it on their menu I was a bit skeptical BUT let me tell you, FLAVUUUUR!!! The spice was perfect, they weren't too soggy for a to go order, the onions were tasty, and the amount in a box was just enough. I added the arrachera to it and it was delicious and a good amount. $17 a bit pricey for the amount BUT the flavor was great! Might need a little extra love on the queso fresco and crema but it was delicious nonetheless. My partner got the steak burrito and it was also good. Very filling with all the meat in it. Could use a bit more egg in it but nonetheless tasty! And of course, the coffees are quite tasty as well and strong! read more

Horrible! Their coffee sucks and it's mostly just milk. First time here today, I asked for half sweet extra ice and it was mostly milk, no ice and still very sweet. I went back to ask the guy if he can remake it because I know how good coffee suppose to taste I've been to many coffee shops and I know what's good and what's not. This place is mostly just sugar and milk. It also gets very packed and there is only two workers. I waited almost half an hour for my drink, which is ridiculous. Ordered coffee online but when I got there they said that specific one was sold out, so I received a cheaper coffee with no refund or mention of the price difference. Also got a sweet bread from the glass case, when I opened it 3 flys flew out and 2 or 3 more stayed chilling in there on the bread. The coffee was okay, but overall pretty terrible experience.
