We were so sad when we moved because we thought we wouldn't be able to find another sushi place to be our weekly night out but we were so happy when we found hooked on sushi! I actually ordered DoorDash pick up and the wait staff were beyond kind and let me know that they had fallen behind and it would be about 10 minutes. After about 15 minutes I was told that it would be a little bit longer and so I decided to take a seat at the sushi bar where the chefs were fun and engaging. I kept to myself and ordered a drink while I waited. About 35-40 minutes later (longer than I expected) my food finally comes out but the waiter tells me "don't leave". All of a sudden the chefs place a beautiful plate of specialty nigiri in front of me that didn't even have a name! It was stunning and my tastebuds exploded!!!! Came on Presidents' Day, we were the only ones there and a few customers walked in for take out orders. The service was great but the food was amazing. Everything was fresh, and you could taste it. The portions were good for the price. To top it off, we ordered the Tempura Ice Cream (green tea) and it's hands down the best I've had. They were getting ready to close but I will be back for more. Finally tried this place after grieving the sushi place there before it. Food was good but service was rough. We waited a significant amount of time before anyone took our order. Hot food came out fast...hubs finished his entire plate well before my sushi was delivered and our appetizer came out last. Sushi chain done right! I never thought I'd see the day. Hooked on Sushi, might have me hooked on sushi. We went during lunch time and there were a few tables and a few call in orders during our stay. The one waiter was doing it all. He was very kind and did a good job at describing the items we had questions about. We both got the lunch special that comes with soup, salad, a house roll, and specialty roll. FYI this is plenty fo food. We ordered an appetizer and ended up not being able to finish everything. I got the jalapeño poppers for the appetizer and they were delicious. Not very spicy, and the popper held together throughout the eating process. Easy enough to eat with your hands. My sushi was the Momo roll and the California roll. The Momo roll was soooo good. I could really taste the salmon even with the soy sauce and wasabi. The California roll was just like any California roll except twice as large. They really stuff the ingredients into these rolls which makes me want to come back for more. Sushi can be a bit expensive no matter where you go. At least here they pack it full of all the yummy stuff and let you get your monies worth. The ambiance of the place is nice. Slightly modern and really like the TV's hanging up. This is a nice, quaint sushi place. The quality and taste on the sushi rolls we got was great and very fresh! They are on the higher end of the pricing scale of sushi but you definitely get what pay for and it's worth it! The Crunchy Spicy Tuna roll was the only one we tried that wasn't my favorite because it's primarily a chunk of fried rice with a little fish on top (see photo). We've only been once but I'd love to visit them again and try out some of their other rolls as they have quite a variety to choose from! read more

My wife and I ordered from here last week. We ordered two, two item meals. When we got home, we were surprised to see how small the portions were. Not only that, but we were missing our two salads/ soups. I called in and spoke with Joseph. He couldn't explain why our portions were small, or what we could do about our missing items. We were told no supervisor/ manager was on duty, and that our best bet was emailing the company's email. With no solution given, and no response from the company, I think you (the potential customer) would be better off getting your sushi somewhere else. Came in to have dinner with my son and the service was TERRIBLE! We were ignored the whole time. No one came to check on us to take our order. We waited forever to finally have our order taken. No one came to check and see if we needed a drink refill. I sat there and stared them down for a good 10-15 minutes in order to have someone come over and give me a to go box and my check. This has become our go-to sushi place. Consistently good sushi and sashimi and friendly staff makes you want to come back. They handled covid very well and were conscious of distancing which made us feel safe. The salmon is melt in your mouth amazing and the yesterday roll just makes me happy.
