Me and my boyfriends favorite sushi restaurant in ft worth has been Blue Sushi for forever but this place seriously makes me reconsider that. Another favorite of ours is Yoko in Sachse, and rolls here are strikingly similar to theirs... is the chef the same? Our favorite ingredients for sushi rolls are lemon slices, ponzu, and Serrano peppers. Lo and behold the 44 Roll has all three. This roll seriously took us on a flavor journey, sooo good. This roll is comparable to Roll 78 from Yoko, and Im pretty sure it has the same ingredients and plating. We also got the ceviche and omg BUSSSS!!! My boyfriend actually liked this more than the roll. Fish is fresh and its got some Vietnamese vibes with the chosen garnishes. Lastly we got the beef flat noodles. My boyfriend found the beef to be way higher quality than what's typical for the dish. The flavor gets stronger the more you eat! Not entirely to my preferences (ex. I prefer the noodles uncut) but I didnt come here for the noodles, I came here for the fish so I don't care. Ginger is high quality and the service was great. The food was amazing! I had sashimi and sushi in mind but upon arriving and perusing the menu, well the menu was also Vietnamese. There was Pho, curry, noodles and many more goodies to try. We were seated at a two-top and waited around 20 minutes. We were provided with water, wasabi, ginger, and menus. The restaurant was not packed, as it was a Wednesday night at 9 p.m. Two other two-tops were seated after us, and each was helped and able to order. Such a nice new sushi restaurant. Unfortunately, the noise level really took away from the experience. It was so loud that we could barely hear each other at the table, and even communicating with our server was challenging. The menu is impressively extensive, which is great for variety. We enjoyed the lightly fried oysters, though both of us noticed they were quite salty. The rolls were pretty good overall. One thing to note: the pacing felt a bit off -- our appetizers actually arrived toward the end of the meal, almost after we'd forgotten we ordered them! If you prefer a certain order, it might help to mention that upfront. A small suggestion: it would be great if the menu included more detailed descriptions for the nigiri. Some pieces came with unexpected toppings like avocado or sriracha, and we would've liked the option to request them plain. Overall, they're doing well for being newly opened. The staff were attentive and genuinely helpful. I can see this spot thriving as a casual, high-energy sushi stop, but for us it felt a bit too loud for a lingering, date-night experience. Hush in Keller had been my favorite sushi spot in the Fort Worth area for years, but after trying Oishii, it officially takes the top spot. The Royce roll and DOA roll are a must. A lot of their rolls are meant to be riceless but you can get any roll with rice upon asking. The spicy edamame is great, the fish is fresh, and whoever decided to serve the beers in a cold glass deserves a raise. Great food, great service, and a great time. read more

I thought it was a great space with a broad range of options. I got a roll and some tuna sashimi which were great thick cuts. My boyfriend loved the Peking duck and his mom got the sashimi platter but didn't like that it was drenched in sauce. Our server was very accommodating to my allergen needs. We had such an amazing experience at Oishii! We tried the crab Rangoons , golden roll, Royce roll, Philadelphia roll, belly salmon sushi, and the Main Street roll. We tend to make an initial judgement based on their crab Rangoons and these were incredible! You could actually taste the crab in the filling, unlike most places that mostly serve cream cheese. The real stars of the night were the Royce roll (riceless) and the Main Street roll (riceless). The Royce stood out with its tempura flakes and a touch of truffle oil that gave it a perfect flavor and texture balance. The Main Street roll was beautifully composed -- the pico de gallo blended in so seamlessly that it elevated the roll without overpowering it. We sat at the sushi bar for date night and got great recommendations directly from the sushi chefs, who were super friendly and attentive. The service overall was excellent, and the ambiance makes it a great spot for any occasion, from casual dinners to special nights out. We'll definitely be coming back soon! read more

Wow, yes WOW! Hospitality was great. Our server, Allison, always has the best recommendations and serves with joy in her heart. My friends and I had miso soup, dumplings, orange chicken and gypsy roll. But next time I'm trying that hypnotic roll. Food is fresh and tastes are right on point with awesomeness. The rolls were ON POINT! So fresh ! They had a lot of rice less options for those of us who don't want to get bogged down by rice. My lycee martini was fabulous and the spicy edamame is NOT TO BE MISSED. It is a bit loud , they could stand to add some sound absorption and it took a min to get our server but the quality of the food outweighs all of that . The food was phenomenal I took my mother on Mother's Day and it was amazing to say the least ! The ríceles rolls are amazing they do have a weird consistency if you aren't used to them at first but the flavor is amazing. I believe I had the Royce roll and it was top notch also the Cowboy roll is great if you want a fried roll ask and I believe there is only one and it was amazing. Oishii never misses! I am so excited that they opened my ol reliable Dallas sushi spot in FW. The food was great and the bartender Randy and the other bartenders enthusiasm and service was top notch. The hostesses and manager are still getting the hang of things, as they sat us and others with reservations at the bar and even asked us to move after settling in. Being overbooked and that kind of stuff is to be expected at first, so I won't hold it against them. Only concern I have is that it is VERY loud because it's a smaller space with manufactured wood walls, in addition to fairly loud music. Won't keep me from coming back though! read more
