Nick was a great server! He was attentive, kind and had great recommendations! Every roll is spectacular and very fresh! Highly recommend the Royce and Himalayan Rolls. They are heavenly! The Steer Roll with the wagyu on top is also delicious. You can't go wrong here.

We love Oishii! Love the ambiance and the easiness of making a reservation on opentable. Lanie, our waitress recommended we try the 45 roll (tuna wrapped roll pictured). We also got the tribeca and the Himalayan. All amazing rolls. She was great! Will definitely be coming back again and again.

Such a nice new sushi restaurant. Unfortunately, the noise level really took away from the experience. It was so loud that we could barely hear each other at the table, and even communicating with our server was challenging. The menu is impressively extensive, which is great for variety. We enjoyed the lightly fried oysters, though both of us noticed they were quite salty. The rolls were pretty good overall. One thing to note: the pacing felt a bit off -- our appetizers actually arrived toward the end of the meal, almost after we'd forgotten we ordered them! If you prefer a certain order, it might help to mention that upfront. A small suggestion: it would be great if the menu included more detailed descriptions for the nigiri. Some pieces came with unexpected toppings like avocado or sriracha, and we would've liked the option to request them plain. Overall, they're doing well for being newly opened. The staff were attentive and genuinely helpful. I can see this spot thriving as a casual, high-energy sushi stop, but for us it felt a bit too loud for a lingering, date-night experience. Still, there's a lot of potential here as they find their rhythm. Parking- Easy lot parking. Reservations - Highly suggested. Use Open Table to easily set your reservation. We overheard the bar and sushi bar are open seating. Also noticed quite a few to go orders being picked up as we waited to be seated, so that too is an option!

I thought it was a great space with a broad range of options. I got a roll and some tuna sashimi which were great thick cuts. My boyfriend loved the Peking duck and his mom got the sashimi platter but didn't like that it was drenched in sauce. Our server was very accommodating to my allergen needs. A bit loud, but glad to see business is booming

We had such an amazing experience at Oishii! We tried the crab Rangoons , golden roll, Royce roll, Philadelphia roll, belly salmon sushi, and the Main Street roll. We tend to make an initial judgement based on their crab Rangoons and these were incredible! You could actually taste the crab in the filling, unlike most places that mostly serve cream cheese. The real stars of the night were the Royce roll (riceless) and the Main Street roll (riceless). The Royce stood out with its tempura flakes and a touch of truffle oil that gave it a perfect flavor and texture balance. The Main Street roll was beautifully composed -- the pico de gallo blended in so seamlessly that it elevated the roll without overpowering it. We sat at the sushi bar for date night and got great recommendations directly from the sushi chefs, who were super friendly and attentive. The service overall was excellent, and the ambiance makes it a great spot for any occasion, from casual dinners to special nights out. We'll definitely be coming back soon!

Oishii had the absolute freshest fish I've ever had and staff were attentive and friendly. Flavors on every dish were off the chart. Restaurant was beyond clean. Amazing dining experience!

The food was phenomenal I took my mother on Mother's Day and it was amazing to say the least ! The ríceles rolls are amazing they do have a weird consistency if you aren't used to them at first but the flavor is amazing. I believe I had the Royce roll and it was top notch also the Cowboy roll is great if you want a fried roll ask and I believe there is only one and it was amazing. The server was very attentive and helpful since it was our first time there but it was great. The ambiance is very fitting for a nice dinner it has a great atmosphere.

If you've been wanting to try this place, I'd definitely recommend arriving early. Parking was probably the most challenging part of the visit. There was a rummage sale happening nearby, so the area was busier than usual. They do have a designated parking lot, but it's very small and fills up quickly. Most people will likely need to rely on street parking, which took a little patience that day. The restaurant itself is tiny, but that's part of the charm. There's a bar area that seats around 10 to 12 people and only a handful of tables. We were a party of three and were seated right away, but I could see larger groups having a harder time finding space together. The tables are also on the smaller side, so once the food starts arriving things can get a little crowded. That said, the food completely lived up to the hype. Everything we ordered was delicious. The chicken karaage was crispy and flavorful, the marinated ribeye was tender and packed with flavor, and my favorite dish of the night was easily the beef yakisoba. We each ordered a starter, three skewers, and a side that our server recommended, and every plate disappeared quickly. The atmosphere felt lively and busy, with Japanese figurines and decorations displayed throughout the restaurant. I overheard another guest mention that it reminded them of places they had visited in Japan, which made me appreciate the attention to detail even more. One thing to note - we were told they don't split bills, which wasn't a problem for our group, but it's something to know ahead of time if you're dining with friends.

The two downsides I experienced were the bar chairs and the chicken karaage. The chicken was dry on the outside without any sort of battering, which I had not experienced outside of diet naked tenders and certainly not anywhere I ate in Japan, but the quality of the chicken itself was good and highly juicy to the point where I burned myself on my first bite with a geyser of hot water. The bar seating was a nice touch but I found myself constantly sliding back in my chair and very low to the table. The sheer number of chairs packed into the bar was also authentic, as brushing elbows does indeed happen a lot in little shops like this, even if we are not used to it here. The yaki onigiri was absolutely amazing, crunchy and sweet, and the yakisoba was delicious with the rather interesting addition of mayo on the side. I wasn't sure I'd like it but it worked well. All in all, I'd definitely come by again to scratch the itch to not drop a grand on a trip lol

Pros: Peter, the owner and chef, greeted our table and told us his sushi specials, which are flown in special from Tokyo every Friday so they change weekly. We had the o-toro, chu-toro, aji, and fluke, and all were amazing quality and you got a lot of fish for the price. They have a lot of sushi combos and platters to service a variety of sizes of parties. We had the sushi combo which was plenty of fish, especially with the cut sizes. Wait staff was very attentive and helpful with the menu. Cons: the entrance is a little off putting but you shouldn't let that deter you. the french menu was lacking in my opinion. There is only one page of options, and we ended up not ordering anything french since the japanese was so appealing. I would've liked to see some seafood or more small plates. Overall the fish quality and piece sizes will keep me coming back! I definitely want to try some of the hot plate options as well. add it to your list!

This did not affect the quality of the food as it was very pleasing to look at as well eat. My partner and I began our meal with the karaage. At first glance they looked like fried chicken bites ,but were actually very tender and soft to chew on. The sauce with it was also very good to pair with the chicken. The ramens were packed with the flavor. Our choices were the to tonkotsu and spicy miso. The tonkotsu was super flavorful and I loved the bits off corn and I added minced pork for extra texture in the soup which was a great choice I would do again. The noodles were thinner than other ramens I have tried but still were very yummy and cooked well. The miso was a thicker soup with thicker noodles and the spiciness wasn't overwhelming. Both bowls were very full and we had left overs to save for later. Overall I enjoyed everything about the restaurant and I would recommend others to come and try it. I will definitely be back.

The cars kind of block it, so you just have to commit and trust you are not in the wrong place. Once you get inside though, it is actually really cute and cozy. Also had a funny moment walking in like... where are my Asian people at? It is small but has a few different seating vibes. A sushi bar if you want something more low key, some dimly lit tables, and a brighter dining area where I landed. No outdoor seating, but it stays busy which was surprising given the location. Menu looked like it might be tough for a vegan at first glance, but my server was super knowledgeable and made it easy. I ended up with seaweed salad, cucumber salad, edamame, roasted brussels sprouts, and a tofu style poke bowl situation that was actually really good. Green tea was solid too. Only note is if you like spice, you have to ask for it because it is very mild on its own. It is a little pricier than expected for the setting, I was around $40 for lunch, and service was great. I also ended up chatting with a regular who basically treats it like his go to spot, which says a lot. Not a mind blown moment, but definitely a solid 4 star, would go back.
