I'm impressed that I'm impressed. The waitress was, of course, very friendly and perky. Pretty sure that's the Hooter's MO for waitstaff, so it didn't surprise me too much. Lots of TVs on sports even though there wasn't much to see on. Food came out fast and was piping hot. I got the chicken strip sandwich with their chipotle honey sauce and it was actually really delicious. I didn't expect to terribly enjoy the food here, but they happily surprised me! Once football season starts back up this might be a fun place to come watch a game or two. Then I can see how good the service is when they're super packed too. Why didn't I read my own review before coming back here. Was it the lure of my favorite team playing on Monday night football. Maybe the wings. Well for whatever reason it was, it wasn't really a good enough reason. This time the wait was legit for sitting down. The wait for the food after ordering was brutal. I think they had to drive to the farm and get the chickens them selves. It was 35-40 after order before we got the food. We were about to leave and go elsewhere when I noticed our food coming out. Once again it was a Monday. So, unless you want to wait for your all you can eat wings I would recommend staying away. Secondly the waitress this time kept making awful reason why the food wasn't coming up. More so that she told us there were only 3 cooks, but to try to get a laugh (instead of upset customers) she would make fun of them. Needless I think. It has been almost a year since my last experience at this hooter. I would hope that it is at least twice that before I make this mistake again. read more

I was in town for work, staying at a nearby hotel and decided to order some wings for delivery. Flavor was good... but the wings still had so many little hairs on the skin!!! I get that the hairs are a natural part of the wing, but I would imagine they can do a better job at removing most of it. Just the sight of little hairs all over the wing grossed me out. I was hungry though, so peeled off every bit of the skin from each wing.. which is supposed to be the best part if it wasn't so hairy! I went to Hooters for my boyfriend's birthday, and it was just alright. The chicken wings were not my jam. They somehow managed to be greasy and dry. How does that work? We had a large table, so three of the girls were helping us out, and they were very nice ladies. Our server was attentive initially, getting our drinks & order, but as soon as the food was ordered, she was hard to come by. The food arrived from someone other than our server. The wing flavors we ordered either didn't match the descriptions on the menu or our server input the wrong ones. We thought possibly we received each other's dishes, but those didn't match either. 2 of the 4 flavors were unpleasant. One to the point of being almost inedible-my friend didn't eat them, offered me one. I didn't care for it & we left all the wings on the plate. The wings were quite large, but tough; unpleasant texture. The crispy fried wings you expect were slimy. I know there's sauce on some but even the dry rub was soggy. Our server disappeared. I asked for a side of ranch. 4 times. We ordered another beer which never arrived. We waited on the bill, refills, the check, and a box. And waited. I wanted to go; no point in boxing up the nasty wings. But after not receiving the beer, a box, ranch, and waiting on the bill, it became a point we needed to make that we wouldn't be ignored. I'm not sure if she forgot about us or if she hoped we'd just leave. The third time we asked for a box, she acknowledged the wait & apologized. Then disappeared & didn't return. We left the nasty wings on the table, but not before making eye contact with her with a frustrated sigh when she made an appearance our our way out. We still tipped 35%. The Parmesan Garlic wings were not so good. The fried pickles and french fries were so salty that we couldn't eat them. The drinks were incredibly watered down. I tried 3 different drinks and all were well below expectations. The sliders were good, though. The waitress was very nice and attentive. I had posted a bad review about fish&chips w/onion rings instead. Their manager Adam reached out to me to see if he could make it right. First, he is a very sweet man who loves his job. He personal took care of my complaint, he brought me wings. Both breaded and naked. Along with the wings he brought a sampling of sauces, 12 of them to be exact. Needless to say, they were great. He also brought me a brownie for dessert. This man went out of his way to help me, he was wonderful, I hope he stays just so. So if you want something really good at Hooters, make sure you get some wings. I prefer breaded but both were very good. Service is wonderful. read more

We came to Hooters to watch the OU game, got here at 4:15 for 5 pm kickoff, and AFTER halftime, "Adam", the manager, changes the TV we have been watching because a table came in wanting to watch the Florida game...WTF? No wonder they have empty tables. So one table doesn't want to watch Oklahoma football and he tells his locals, we can leave if we don't like it. It was really no different from any other Hooters visited. One thing observed, since I haven't been there in about 5 yrs, is that their uniform changed. No more of those classic bright orange shorts. The wings were average. Some had too much sauce and some barely had any. The ratio of sauce on wings were not consistent. I was surprised when they charged for Daytona sauce, celery, and ranch. The waitstaff was okay. We didn't get our second order of wings in until our food had settle. read more

Absolute worst Hooter's experience I have ever had. I know you don't go to Hooter's for the service, but this was beyond the worst. Our waitress, Summer, was incredibly slow and just confused about everything. What should have only been an hour dining experience, took over 2 hours, and 40 minutes of that, she spent trying to figure out how to split the checks up and then running our cards. Despite the terrible service, half of the food came out cold, and it took another 30 minutes to fix it. I could go on and on about drinks not being filled and apologies not being made, but why kick a dog, when it's down. I think my point has been made. If you do go to this Hooter's, just make sure to ask to NOT sit in Summer's section. read more

Went for National Chicken Wing Day on Tuesday. Service was ok. Our waitress was kinda non existent (another waitress brought us our drinks and one refill of wings). We usually try and hit Hooters every year for this event. This year, was by far the worse. Any other year, the waitress is on top of her game. And makes sure we have enough wings to take home (even though it's Dine in.) If it weren't for the fact we ordered tenders and fries for my youngest, and she didn't eat them all. We wouldn't have had a reason to get a take home box. This waitress was ignorant about it. Definitely did not deserve the tip they tried to over charge us for. My banks handling that. read more

As a single male, the delicious American cuisine is not the only reason to stop by this spot. Great food and flavors with a moderate-to-large portion size. Would not recommend this place to someone looking primarily for high quality service. However, they have a lot better food than several popular diners I've been to. The 2 of us had never been to Hooter's before. We saw the commercial during the OU game and those smoked wings looked so appetizing!!! Made a trip to the city just to try them out. We both thought the wings were just ok, we prefer Buffalo wild wings. One of us thought the service was good and one of us had to wipe away the drool every 5 mins.!! We are from out of town and this was our second time to this location. We hadn't been in a number of years however. The stuff was super nice and the food was just as we remembered. The beer is cold and the boneless wings are bomb. I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Some of my favorites includes fried pickles, chicken quesadillas, spicy garlic boneless wings and the fries!!! If you get the fries don't forget the cheese sauce to dip them in! So I went in here tonight to try their new steaks.... HOOTERS HAS STEAKS!!!! Oh and loaded baked potatoes! They have two different options and the smoked steaks are by far above average! Never been to a Hooters before but went to try their Monday Burger specials. Burgers were pretty good, cooked just as requested but the service was about as unfriendly as one could expect. Was very glad that I got my food to go as I would be hard pressed to tip anyone that I interacted with. I don't care what they wear if they can't put a smile on first. read more
