The place was slammed busy but one server really stepped up and performed with the highest quality of service and professionalism. Her name is Dari. She had multiple parties which can be really tough on a server and oftentimes they try to take advantage of the situation. Dari cleaned up the tables after the parties left and straightened them back to normal. She was one of the few servers I have seen throughout the company actually clean up properly!(hot towel, disinfectant spray) and sweep. This is mine and my husbands 3rd time eating at this location since we relocated to the South Tampa area from Brandon and being that it's right down the street when we have wing cravings. Ever had that one dish at that one restaurant that just makes you feel better after a bad day? Original Style Honey Thai Chili Pepper wings with blue cheese at Hooters are inexplicably my feel good food. I don't even like breaded wings, I don't understand my obsession but they are so good and I love them! I usually get my order to go, nowadays I always order the same thing and that goes hand in hand with my 3 star rating. The service is OK. There always seem to be a lot of regulars and the servers are familiar with them. I much prefer the service here than at the Channelside Hooters. Service has been slow here and there but for the most part it's ok. They're really quick on the ToGo orders though! I've never had to wait very long and if I call ahead it's always ready no matter how busy. I've tried a lot of the items in the menu in the past. The food outside the wings is decent, nothing that really sticks out in my mind. The wings are pretty good...they're usually big and meaty. Once I felt like they had put too much dressing on the wings and it was just too soggy, I mentioned it to the server and she got me a new order no problem. The wings have never been broken up inside the batter (hate when that happens). The naked blackened wings are ok compared to other spots in the area...not my favorite but they're pretty flavorful. This hooters doesn't get as crowded as others even during games. It's pretty laid back and has a lot of local guests. Im sure I'll keep going to get ToGo Thai Chili wings regularly :). read more

Maybe I was just there on an "off" day since it was packed for college football, and while I did appreciate the USF buttons they left on the table, and the willingness to show several games, the service was slow as a turtle and the food wasn't great. Drinks took approx 5 minutes to come- although I must give props for the WONDERFUL selection of draft beers, and my burger sliders weren't the hottest- and seemed smushed? My house salad was good, but cheesy to come with a closed plastic package of croutons- really? Am I at a fast food joint? Not sure what has happened to their food but when I first moved to Florida I really liked Hooters. It has gone from great to below average. On my last visit I tried the fried pickles and bit into something hard...it was a chicken bone. :( The pickles were bland and the shirmp I had were medicore. Service was good and staff was friendly. Generally good service - but it does get packed from 11/1130 - with service members from the base (also another indicator that its good food, clean and pretty good service). At dinner time it is sparsely filled with regulars. The night I was there the bartender spent more time doing anything BUT bar tending. I love this place!! Been coming here with my family since I was little. Now being old enough to consume alcoholic beverages, I always enjoy the staff,food and fun environment. Always makes for a great Friday night or Sunday Funday when I want to enjoy watching some football. The experience is always more than exceptional. The service was very slow. We went on a rainy day, and it seemed as though the rain slowed everyone down. They had the A/C blasting, so everyone was freezing coming in from the rain. Very slow to bring out our drink orders. The food was overpriced for the quality, I didn't even finish my salad. I ordered Togo from Hooters I ordered hooter salad wing and buffalo shrimp the salad was all mixed together and had very little cheese the wings weren't tossed in the wing sauce they were just sitting in the sauce in the box when they bagged my order they put the salad in the bottom and the wings and shrimp on top the wing sauce leaked all over the salad box I would never put hot food in top of cold food what a waste of 30 dollars read more

The worst Hooters I have ever been too. One: our waitress looked a mess & kept messing up our order along with our check. She kept adding stuff we didn't order. We got frustrated and just paid for two items we didn't even ask for or get for that matter. Two: the food was overly greasy! I am used to the usual grease but this was over board that day. My sons chicken fingers had so much grease in it, I didn't even feed it to him and we went elsewhere. Will never go here again. Let alone recommend anyone to this location. read more

I have been a life long hooters customer that is why it pains me to write this review. The Last couple of times I have gone to hooters I have been served some of the smallest wings hooters has ever served me. The wings were like the wings you get at Pizza Hut, tiny. I ask the manger what was going on he said they have had a change in supplier and having issues with the inconsistency of the wings. Caitie is the best waitress there. We were seated immediately and had our drink orders taken quickly. She answered any questions our group had. The wings were good as always and the drinks were normal (you can't really change soda). I went in on 8/20/20 to pick up my online order #778227413 and was extremely disappointed by the customer service at this location, once again. While this time they did have my order ready (On 8/11/20 I went in to pick up my online order #761480075 and they did said they did not receive it), they told me that they did not have guacamole so I asked if they had removed the additional charge and I was told there was nothing they could do about it and that I would have to call corporate. Aaron the manager was nearby and heard what was happening and he said he would see what he could do about it. I waited for 30 minutes for him to update me on the situation because he did not specify if I needed to stay or not, eventually after watching him ignore me, I asked him if he had figured it out so that I could leave and he told me impolitely that I could just leave. I was shocked by his utter lack of concern or awareness, especially since he knew I was still there. It wasn't even about the money to me, it's about how I was ignored, dismissed, and my time disrespected once again. I was understanding the first time because of technical difficulties and the second time, I just did not want to pay for something I wasn't getting. I simply just wanted them to let me know they had taken care of it. When I got home to actually eat what I ordered, the blue cheese was missing too so I called asking if she could tell the manager to also take off the blue cheese charge and I was hung up on! I had to call twice just for them to tell me that he did it. And yes, I was refunded but I was left astonished by the quality of service. I honestly will never be going back to this establishment and I feel like it is my moral obligation to let those around me know not to waste their precious money during a crucial time for the restaurant industry here. There are so many other places that actually acknowledge their guests. If the issue is with online ordering, such as offering options that they do not carry in the restaurant then I strongly recommend fixing it to match their needs and capabilities. First of all let me start by saying I have never been so embarrassed than I was when I went to this hooters!! When I usually buy something to eat from here I usually order takeout and ALWAYS wings so this time me and my friend decided to go inside and checkout what else they had , when we went in my friend noticed some of our friends so we went over to sit with them, after her friends ordered food and ate their food ( keeping in mind me and my friend I came with didn't order anything) the other 2 friends decided to go out for a smoke before they paid. They were outside quite a long time so we went to go check out what was taking so long? It turned out that they dined and dashed... I was appalled do we went after them. The next day we returned to the hooters and explained to the manager in PRIVATE what they have done and I wanted to offer and pay for their food but the manager insisted it was ok and no big deal. I felt horrible but she still insisted for us not to pay so that evening we returned with a group of friends this time to eat there and let me tell you I was in shock and outraged !!!!! The second I walked in I heard all the girls whispering among themselves and when I say down and our waitress came over she had the audacity to point to me and say " hey your the girl who dined and dashed, I'm keeping my eye on you so you don't screw me over" I was so embarrassed and in shock. First of all how did she know it was me the only person I talked to was the manager so that means she blabbed to her crew and told what was suppose to be private to her staff . I cannot believe how awful this place is. The manager seems whacked out on coke. He knew the service was awful and all he did was yell at the waitress. We had to clean our own tables. We had 3 drinks before our kids meal of 4 wings came out. I got 2 of my own drinks from the bar. I'm only putting one star because I'm forced to! This is the worst!! I have never been to a restaurant where the service was so terrible. The last time we were here was on the 4th of July since all hooters were giving military and veterans 10 free wings.... Well our waitress rudely informed us that, "oh yeah we're not doing that" and walked away before we could say anything. Regretfully we stayed and witnessed the manager inappropriately touching the waitresses and the girls literally running around the restaurant and touching each other. When they don't want to provide quality customer service, they tell you to leave and threaten to have the cops sitting in the parking lot arrest you.
