The worst customer service ever. EVER. I sat on the phone for 10 minutes listening to the people talk in the background. They were extremely unprofessional. I called and asked to place a delivery order. They put the phone down. After 3 minutes they picked the phone up and asked what I wanted and I told them to place an order for delivery. I was driving through Jersey and got off the Garden State, exit 151, to get one of these bagels. They're so good, that when I'm headed down the Jersey Shore for summer weekends I always stop here. I'm all about that GTLB. Gym, Tan, Laundry and Bagels. Seriously get the Sausage, Egg and Cheese on an onion bagel. You won't regret it. Taylor Ham is good too. The line can run around the block sometimes, but it's well worth the wait. If it weren't for that line though I'd be giving it a 5/5, but I guess that line is a testament to how good these bagels really are. read more

Normally the service here is very fast and the workers incredibly friendly. I don't go here often but It's close by. Today we decided to walk here because it was a nice day and I remembered how good the bagels were. The bagels were once again fantastic, I have no issue with the quality of the food. My whole grain bagel with lox was fantastic and fresh. My son says his everything bagel was just as good as the last time. I do see a problem when I am left waiting and a number of people who came in after us get their food faster. I have never seen this man before since it's usually the girls who take care of my order efficiently and with a smile. This guy took his sweet time and at one point did not even come over to the counter to speak with me. Now I wasn't in a rush but we did want to eat something eventually. I am not accustomed to having to raise my voice to explain how I want my iced coffee and what flavors they have from that far away, It is not exactly customer service to a customer when make them verbally compete with the busy atmosphere. People come to this place for a reason, because the bagels are quality, not to have to shout so someone can even hear you. We were not rude, I made sure I was polite, I said please and thank you but this guy did not even seem inclined to crack a smile at the end of it all. As a comparison, those regular workers smiled each and every time their customers were giving orders and I know those girls were tired and struggling to keep up with the amount of people there. I will chalk this up to the man having an off day but I sincerely hope the next time I go there that the service goes back to what it normally is. read more

Rude, unprofessional management staff. I signed up for the daily specials email since this is close to my office. Every Monday the email indicates one person who receives a free lunch during that week. Lucky me, my name was drawn...but when I went in, a middle-aged man who I presume was a manager refused to honor the offer even after I showed him the email from his company/website, and claimed "I don't know what this is and I don't honor any coupons." He added something to the effect of 'I've never seen you in here before' as if I was making this up or looking for a handout. (My last visit was $50+ of several dozen bagels and extras.) Typical North Jersey rude, crude, uncouth attitude and a terrible way to do business. Absolutely no reason to return with all the other options in the area.
