    Pepperoni pizza

Happy with my service here! Walked in with no order ahead, only waited 15 minutes- probably less- for my pizza. Tasted great and was cheap. Nice little store if you choose to eat in but seems like more of a carry out place. Staff was friendly enough and seemed to be taking things seriously behind the counter. Good stop for pizza!

Ordered a pizza for delivery this past weekend and went with HotBox because it's close to my place. I will say, the website is pretty snazzy and easy to navigate which is nice. However, I was surprised when I nonchalantly typed in "hotbox" .com and shockingly found out that I was on the wrong website -- NOTE make sure you type in hotboxpizza.com or you too, will be surprised. Anyhow, we ordered a large pizza (half dixie chicken and half chicken ranch), breadsticks with cheese, and two drinks. The total with tip came out to $35, probably a little over priced, but if I wanted to save money I could have picked it up myself. The pizza itself was pretty disappointing. Bland in flavor, and the crust was overly salty for some reason. The breadsticks were alright. And for the drinks, well we got soda so that's hard to mess up -- and the cups are nice to re-use and dishwasher safe. On the plus side, it was delivered at the exact time they said it would be, so two stars for efficiency. Overall in Yelp terms -- mehh, I've had better.

I'd say a solid 3.5 stars for Hot Box I typically only order from Hot Box for the pie of the week specials. The pizza is a good quality and the flavors are good, but for the price point it is about like any other delivery pizza chain. It is good value when you get the pie of the week, my favorite is the Porky the Pie, the Cheese-sticks and the Party Fowl. My last visit, I took in the Girl Next Door. The GND was tasty. It had spicy pepperoni, pineapple and hot honey on a red sauce base. I was good, but could have used more hot honey. Now on to the negatives that exist now, that didn't when (Pizza Express) now Hot Box first came to Indy a long while ago and when I worked at the Broad Ripple store. The breadsticks used to be so much better than they currently are. The stick are not tender anymore and feel like they are always over cooked or cooked at too high a temperature. They used to be as good as a local chain that has the name of a big Midwest city on a lake to the north of us, but now are no where near as good.

In to get me hot box pizza. Double spicy pepperoni and banana peppers. What!!!!!! The lady helping me order was super helpful and courteous. Guided me through the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my pizza.

Once in a while, I get a craving for Hot Box Pizza. I received a post card in the mail for a free pizza because they "missed me" since I had not ordered a pizza from them in a while. I redeemed it one night to bring to a gathering to share with friends and everyone enjoyed it. I have enjoyed Hot Box Pizza for quite a while and always enjoyed their specialty pizzas. The meal deal is a great deal . You get a large pizza with breadsticks and two beverages. They provide Tootsie Rolls as a treat with every pizza, which makes them stand out among the competition. The pizza tastes terrific and is more unique among the other pizzas I have had with other restaurants. Hotbox PIzza has a great crust and they provide different spices and even a little garlic on their pizza. They produce a high quality product with every delivery or carry out order. The breadsticks are phenomenal and taste superb! Their nacho sauce and ranch sauce are excellent as well. The staff is excellent and gives professional customer service. The fact that they surprise their long commitment customers with a post card for a free pizza or free side demonstrates their ability to keep their customers happy and make good relationships with people for the long term. Hotbox pizza is awesome and will continue to order pizza from them for quite a while. They are terrific to a whole new level!

    Sausage, mushroom, and ricotta pizza

After a long hot run this morning I didn't have the energy to make or even go pickup food, so I decided to order pizza. I hadn't had HotBox in a long time and it sounded good and it had a reasonable delivery fee. I ordered one of the deals that included a large pizza, breadsticks, and two fountain drinks. I got a text message that my order had been delivered. I opened my door and did not find anything. Within a few minutes a neighbor called me and told me my pizza had been delivered to her house. This is not uncommon. I live on a street and she lives on an avenue of the same name. I called to restaurant to inform them of this delivery mistake and no credit for the delivery fee or tip or anything else to make this right was offered. For the food. The pizza was as I remembered it's solid pizza, yet not outstanding. I was disappointed with the ricotta cheese. I didn't appreciate any ricotta cheese. I was expecting a large amount. Maybe it was blended in or maybe it was just left off, I can't tell, but wouldn't pay extra for this topping again. The sticks were good and I like the nacho cheese. I also like the to-go cups that you can collect and use again. I have been trying to give grace to the service industry lately, but I have had a string of bad luck with high prices and poor food quality or service. For this experience the food was fine, but the delivery issue and lack of willingness to correct the mistake will dampen my enthusiasm for ordering from here again in the near future.

For the price of the pie of the week (50% off), you can't beat HotBox. Hippie crust is a must, too.

I have already reviewed their incredible pizzas with flying colors…read more Yesterday I was extremely happy with my choice to try the Tuesday special which was wonderful!! The steak pappardella pasta is a real delight. Broad flat egg noodles in a rich creamy sauce with mushrooms and topped with sliced medium steak. Bonus.....Tuesday is half priced wine! Topped it off with espresso martinis was another bonus. You will love it. Sam the owner is a great guy.

However, the pasta choices are only rigatoni or spaghetti. From the pictures yes they really do have a pizza oven, which is fantastic The calamari was great, especially because it contained tentacles. However, at this price point, the plate was pathetically filled with barely anything. So they're charging high prices, trying to present themselves as a great place to be, and yet are feeding you less than the competitors out there. Our server was very nice, however did not know what tentacles were. Our server was slightly attentive but slow. The two pasta dishes we ordered were very disappointing. The sauce tasted like they came out of a jar and they were definitely not homemade or made from scratch in any way shape or form. The cheese is as well tasted like they came out of a bag and were not shaved or cut fresh. Unfortunately, I can even do the simple pasta better at home. Further, the alla Norma I was playing a game of trying to find the eggplant. My partner got the Bolognese and you could not find any meat in it whatsoever. It was very disappointing. By the time we left the place was packed, so maybe they are doing something right but frankly from three dishes, this was a huge disappointment and frankly a waste of money There are lots of other Italian places in the fishers and Carmel areas please go there.

However, I will attach a picture of their menu. The pizza's were good, with fresh ingredients, and remained hot all the way home. We order one hand tossed crust and two crispy thin pizzas. The crispy thin crusts were thin.... but not cracker thin. They were very good none the less. The food is 100% Halal so the sausage is beef rather than pork. We got a sausage and mushroom pizza and enjoyed it. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our bill was correct as was our order. The location has very limited dine-in seating. It appears predominately a carryout location. I believe they make deliveries as well but double check, including the delivery zone. Since it is mainly a carryout / delivery establishment, it is extremely important to me that orders are correct. I was very satisfied with the accuracy... my family can be very particular and makes a lot of menu substitutions! The menu consists mostly of pizza and wings. They have limited appetizer, salad, and sandwich wrap options. Drinks include bottled water and canned soda, among other items. We will return to this restaurant. The wings appear to get good reviews so we will probably order them next time.... along with another pizza!

The menu consists of Antipasti, pasta, salads, and pizza. They also have desserts of tiramisu, cannelloni and cheesecake. We ordered the Amanti Della Carne pizza. It consisted of mozzarella, pepperoni, homemade sausage, signature, tomato sauce, ham, and mortadella. All pizzas are 12 inch and thin crust. Our pizza was $17. We also ordered the spring salad for $7. It consisted of spring mix, tomatoes, and homemade balsamic vinaigrette. The spring salad was good. The lettuce was fresh and nicely seasoned with the dressing. We really liked the homemade balsamic dressing. The pizza was very good and had a lot of toppings. As mentioned there is no variety or choice of size. The pizza only comes in a 12 inch, which was eight slices. Also, there is no choice of crust thickness. It is all a reasonably thin crust. Not a cracker thin crust, but thinner than most pizzas. We really liked it. The table next to us ordered pasta. They said it was delicious. They asked our server if the pasta was made fresh in the house. The server replied that it was. Service was very good, friendly, and prompt. It appears they do a big takeout business as while we were dining we saw several people come in and pick up pizzas to go. We recommend if you were in the area
