New hot pot spot did not disappoint! A friend found the Hotpot Den via TikTok, so our book club group met up here for dinner. Overall- everything feels more elevated than your typical hotpot in Denver. The sauce station is thoughtful- everything you could think of- scissors to cut meats, tongs, soup ladles, extra bowls/plates. The food was soooo good! I got the pho broth- since most places don't offer it. I also tried my friends pork and spicy broths. The spicy is just the right level of spice. Definitely would recommend!

Side dishes and pork belly to be added to our broths.

I have walked into this newly opened restaurant several times, but have never eaten here until today. This neighborhood AYCE hotpot place has been on my radar for at least a year or perhaps two years. Every time I stopped by to see the status, I always see the "coming soon" sign. However, about several weeks back when a friend told me she and her dad went there to eat hot pot, I was very excited to know they finally opened. And so, I went and checked it out myself. The first time I set my foot here, place was very quiet. Perhaps people gave up on waiting for the opening or perhaps the owner didn't do a great job advertising that the restaurant is now open and is operating with a full schedule, opening every day. Today, walking toward the restaurant, a big sign boated "GRAND OPENING", so there's no way diners would miss the place when they drive by, and plenty of free parking spaces for folks to park too. Going inside, the place has enough lights, but I wouldn't say it is well lit. However, diners do not have to use their phones to turn on the light just to look at the menu: menu has beautiful photos of the items to be added to their broth. My Tom Yum broth was deliciously flavorful with the items I added, including bok choy, brisket, string, mushrooms, pieces of taro, half of the crab, jumbo shrimp and my favorite noodle, udon. It was so good! Everything was fresh! Even the plates of meats, all rolled up and neatly arranged, looked very nice. We were here for almost 2 hours, just eating and enjoying the various conversations. The waitstaff was a group of young people whose job was to make sure we had a wonderful meal, so they get an A+ for being very attentive to our needs and being professional at the same time. After our meal, we were served with some ice cream to complete our eating experience. I drove away happy and very satisfied. I give Hotpot Den a solid A.

I was really happy with the service as well as the food. They had a great variety of vegetables as well as seafood and meat without being overwhelming. The seafood, the ribeye the brisket all of it seemed very fresh and tasted great. I had the seafood broth which I thought was amazing. Actually the pho broth was really good for the children. It had a deep rich flavor. Definitely will be going back to try some of the other broths. Crowd pleaser for the kids was the free ice cream afterwards so all around a great experience.

It was very good! Far and above our experience at Chubby Cattle. The broths were all excellent. Husband got spicy miso, daughter got pork, and I got Tom Yum. Each of them was delicious. The meats were all good. I recommend the ribeye. And the seafood was a hit or miss. The seafood honestly tasted a bit old and the texture of the shrimp was mealy. The blue crab was not worth it at all--very fishy. The vegetables were plentiful and very fresh! Loved all the different greens they offer and three different types of mushrooms--all manageable sized to cook just right. The sweet potato was super dry even coming straight out of the broth, but yummy. I've been to so many different Asian restaurants in my life, and I still wish that they would offer fountain drinks instead of individual cans. Seems stingy when we're paying more than $30 per person. The condiment bar was also very impressive with the various sauces and toppings. The only sauce that I wish was better quality was the sesame oil. It tasted old too. Everything else seemed fresh--a curious thing was a tub of minced garlic that was from a jar and fresh minced garlic. Maybe people prefer the jarred garlic taste? I think I would swap out the jarred garlic for something more like lemon grass paste or fresh ginger. The place was not overly busy, but we ate dinner on a Tuesday just after the long weekend. The table could have been cleaner. There were bits of food on the edges of the burners. The burners were still slick with grease and there were dots of grease on the table and remotes for controlling the burners. Just a little more attention to cleanliness could help out. The staff were busy, friendly, and helpful. The overall experience was very good. A few tweaks and it could be a 5 star. I wish they would add more of a knife cut noodle or something between the side of a ramen noodle or udon noodle that was a wheat noodle. We'll for sure be back.

This was place phenomenal!!! Very fast service and server was very attentive! The selections for the hotpot were plenty! Would easily go back within the week! This also was the only busy place in the entire plaza on a Tuesday night so that clearly says something about the food and service!

Great selection of meats and ingredients!

My wife and I enjoyed a delightful lunch at Hotpot Den on Kipling Street in Littleton. Fresh ingredients, flavorful broths, friendly service, and a great self-serve sauce bar made it a perfect hot pot experience. Highly recommend--5 stars!

Incredible food, endless options with fresh ingredients simmered in flavorful broths, and genuinely great service to top it all off.

Great new place here in Littleton, CO. I would recommend this place for those that have not tried hotpot before. Those that have, it was still delicious and I would come back. Quality of meat was on point after a few rounds. I recommend coming in a couple hours after they open. My family and I came right when they opened. Was provided meat that was frozen from day prior. I tried the Miso broth, spicy broth, tom yum broth and beef broth. All of the broths lack flavor except miso. If you get the tom yum, make sure you go to the condiment bar and grab a few slices of lime to add on to your broth for more of a real tom yum flavor. Service was great, you do have to ask for chopsticks. The condiment bars has the basic ingredients to make a good dipping sauce. The umami seasoning is MSG, which I loved. They have a good selection of seafood, vegetables and meat. Everything was fresh.

Spicy Miso Broth, Tomyum Broth, fatty beef, pork belly, ribeye

Very tasty, staff were friendly and around often. Condiments and add-ons are self serve near the front of the restaurant, i'm glad we realized this because we were not instructed of it. Overall great food and service!

We ordered: "Popcorn Chicken" 3/5 NOT a huge fan of popcorn chicken at all as I always find it dry and wasnt my choice of order but I was suprised! Its a lot more moist and fresh than I thought and the sauce that came with it really complimented the dish! HUGE PORTION TOO!!! Will definetely order next time as well! Our server did table service and mixed it for us nicely to enjoy, kind if reminds me of Gyukakus beef rib rice dish as well! The meat is nice and tender, marinated and grilled to perfection. The fried rice mixed with the cheese and onions were perfect combinated with the meat. Its insanely delicious and if you havent ordered it, youre respectfully insane. We have also ordered Taro Milk Tea and Strawberry Creme at the end which tasted so fresh and delicious. It definetely wasnt too sweet, it was just perfect. Im glad we saved room for the drinks hehe. Price was fair for all the food we ordered, everything had good portions and we could even share one main dish perfectly. Tasty Pot offers hearth, fresh, and insanely delicious food with great service! The Hot Spot seems to be under Vietnamese ownership, judging from the big Karaoke setup in the middle of the room and the surround music being Vietnamese songs. I'm sure this place becomes lively when there is a party and people take to their singing skills. But on this regular Saturday afternoon, it was not even half filled. Customers have a choice of ordering regular Vietnamese fares or be seated at a hot pot table to enjoy cooking your own food. One nice thing about The Hot Spot is that we weren't limited to 90 min or 2 hours. Could be because it was during a slow time. Food wise it was far from an elaborate hot pot experience. The broths don't have distinctive flavors from one another and there lacks a sauce station! Which is a signature hot pot spot! The meats, when brought out, especially the beef slices, tend to be on the darker hue, to me that signals less fresh. And the booth seats aren't the most comfortable. I think they make shift to turn the booth tables into hot pot compatible where the outlets are in the way of your knees (if you're tall and have long legs) or if short like me, the seats feel sunken. All in all, it was still a fun experience for AYCE hot pot, especially when not under time pressure and the staff is friendly albeit not the fastest.

This place may have good selections for meat but in all honesty the authenticity of what korean bbq tastes and feels like has been stripped away. The flavor is not all there even when I try to use their side dishes like the kimchi and cucumber kimchi. CUCUMBER KIMCHI: This feels like a story excuse for cucumber kimchi. The sauce is just absolutely slobered and over takes any part of the cucumber. It's like a thick sludge rather than tasteful cucumber kimchi. Would you like some cucumber with your thick kimchi sludge? KIMCHI: They don't even have this out at the sides area, you have to ask for this. The problem with this is that the MOST Korean side dish is not readily available at the side dish pick up area. The other main problem is that it tastes sweet? There's is no acidic flavor to the kimchi, it's just all wrong and horrible. THE MEAT: Okay the meat selection is good but unfortunately the thicker sangyupsal is a little too thin. I think there's already a thin sangyupsal option on the menu so I'm not sure why we're getting another thin option. Gotta say though, this is the only place that has the intercostal rib meat which is baller. Overall this place is just not giving authentic. This might do if you're not familiar with traditional Korean bbq and have no expectations or a bar for Korean food, but from someone who grew up like that, this is just lack luster and overall a slap in the face.
