I asked twice and double-checked in writing that those were included because I was hiring them specifically to do the things I did not want to do myself, and they confirmed it. I even showed them the text messages when the issue came up. When they arrived, the owner tried to up-charge me for the same services that were already confirmed. What made this worse is that it was the owner of the company doing this, and she refused to provide any manager or other contact. Because of this, I ended up cleaning the cabinets and patio myself while they did only part of the job. I hired a cleaning service so I wouldn't have to do the work, yet I was cleaning alongside them the entire time. One of the other cleaners did a good job and was professional. Unfortunately, the owner was confrontational, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional -- this is her business, and her behavior set the entire tone. In addition, the owner repeatedly walked through filth and onto my carpet without removing her shoes or wearing shoe covers, even after I asked several times. I had to go back over areas with my vacuum. They also used my cleaning supplies even though I was told they would bring their own. On top of everything, the quality of the portion of the cleaning that they did was not professional -- I could have done the same job myself, which defeats the purpose of hiring a service. I paid $150, which reflected the work that was actually done (standard cleaning plus fridge), but this was by far the most stressful and unprofessional cleaning experience I've ever had. Do not hire this company if you want clear pricing, professionalism, and for the job you booked to actually be honored.

When I asked her about cost for maintenance cleaning every 2 weeks, she definitively quoted me $250 each time. However, when the two workers showed up, she asked me how many hours I wanted, saying that the $250 only covered for 3 hours, which she never once mentioned. I asked if the work would be able to finish the work, she said usually it only takes 2 to 3 hours for maintenance cleaning. However, after the 2 workers left, I saw that the floor was not cleaned, the dish rack was extremely dirty, there were still stains on the floor, and an obvious surface there's still stains from cat vomit. When I sent the photos to the owner about the fact that the cleaning was not done thoroughly, she blamed me for only giving the workers 3 hours, saying that 1 more hour would have been needed. She also blamed me for having the workers clean cat poops. which I NEVER asked them to do. (by the way, all my previous cleaning ladies never had a problem with cleaning cat litter, so I'm not sure when this became an issue, and she never once mentioned that they do not touch cat litter???) I live by myself with 3 cats, and there's really not that much to clean except for the mess cats make sometimes. So cleaning the cat area is one of the major reasons why I'm hiring a professional cleaning team. If I had known that she would have an attitude about cleaning things related to cats, I would have NEVER hired them. She started to skirt responsibility beside accusing me of making her working "pick up cat feces" which is a complete lie. While they were always late (up to an hour late), they do a thorough job. The last time they came, someone broke two doors in our dining room buffet server and a scale in the bathroom. They pretended nothing happened and took lots of fruit that I had offered them. I found out and called the owner Carolina the next day. She initially denied it and said she was having dinner and would call me back. I waited one week and no response, so I stopped payment on the check. Finally I got an angry call. I said she never called me back as promised, and I had to find a way to get her attention. Also I was willing to pay her the cleaning fee minus the stop payment cost and the repair cost. And if she had been honest and told me she broke the doors in the first place, I would have worked with her to peacefully resolve this and still maintain a working relationship.
