We live this busy place. The service is great and they pay very close attention to what you need. We ordered the salmon and French dip. Both of these dishes were amazing. We started off with the grilled artichokes. They only have them once in a while and what a treat. We enjoyed the meals very much. The staff always cleaned up and removed plates and stuff after everything and came by and asked all the time if we needed anything. It's a place that we would visit weekly. Very good staff

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent date night spot in Boca Raton the restaurant has a fancy steak house vibe with plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is always efficient and attentive. The food is top notch my must haves are the spinach artichoke chip which has beautiful chunks of artichoke to cream ratio. The burger and chicken sandwich are big enough to split both are mouthwatering delights. They both come with fries but you are able to substitute for any of the side options. I highly recommend a dinner date here as it will not disappoint!

Wow, I used to come to this location several times a week because I thought it was so good, I was nearby today and I decided to take my family to come and have an early dinner, we have their $55 Hawaiian ribeye, which probably was the worst kind of meat I ever had this used to be my favorite, second favorite was the ribs and the ribs were overcooked and dry. My mother-in-law had a French dip. It was OK. I had a baked potato, always great. Their french fries, ouch, I don't know what they did to the recipe, but they're the worst i've ever had. They used to be thin and crispy, now they're average and soggy. Do not recommend.

Went with my daughter, we enjoyed. Started with cocktails I had the crush which was really really yummy!! We shared the grilled artichokes, really good. I had the chicken sandwich side of kale salad (very very thin chicken); she had ribs, fries, kale salad. We enjoyed ALL. I love this Houston's! The ahi tuna is so tender and tasty with a nice sweet kick to it. The mushrooms served with it are amazing. I subbed the cole slaw for a loaded baked potato which was really yummy. I highly recommend their smoked salmon appetizer it is one of the best I've had and the dipping sauce is so flavorful I think it has garlic and green onion in it. Pro tip make a reservation as it gets extremely crowded. Also they don't have it on their drink menu but they make a great mojito!

I used to like coming here pre-covid, but it's gone downhill. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and asked for a different dressing and I was told they couldn't do that. Instead, they offered less dressing on the salad and a second kind on the side. This made no sense. Switched to the cheeseburger (no cheese, no bun), and that they could do. First burger was way too salty, sent it back and asked for no seasoning, which helped. It was okay after that. Had coleslaw instead of fries. First batch with the salty burger was great. The second batch? Tasted like it was in a mustard dressing of some sort. Not even close to the first one. Service was slow. Our server barely checked on us and never came around to offer us drink refills. Also, kind of odd, but all the female servers looked the same. They had the same style makeup, same hairstyle (braid), and most of them had brown hair. Overall, this was just a very disappointing visit. The food wasn't great, service was worse, and prices were too high for what we got. Won't be going back, too many better options nearby.

The service was excellent, the food delicious. They were out of the grilled artichokes the night we visited, however they had guacamole (not on the menu) which was excellent. I ordered the seared tuna salad, the tuna was perfect the salad fresh, my friend ordered the steak perfectly cooked. Most times, the experience at restaurants is not solely determined by how good the food and drinks are but more about how the people there made me feel. And for the price point and caliber of the restaurant, I would NEVER revisit this restaurant again. First impressions are a real thing and it's a huge factor in the overall experience. Outside of the fact that the place itself was nice and my food was delicious, the old fashioned I ordered was subpar. I've had a better old fashioned from the cigar lounge right up the street. I ended up ordering a Tito's & club instead. From the time I sat down to the moment I received my food, the bartenders never checked on me. It felt like the kind of restaurant where you had to reach out to them as opposed to them checking on you. I've had better food, drinks and service at other restaurants and for that reason, I'd never go back to this restaurant, especially this particular location.

I have been coming here since they first opened in 1990. The food and service are always consistently very good. Had a lunch meeting with my financial advisor. I tried the SASHIMI TUNA SALAD, pan-seared ahi, mango, avocado, mixed greens, cilantro ginger vinaigrette but I got the tuna raw, very good. My friend chose the RUBY RED TROUT, lightly seasoned and hardwood grilled, served with coleslaw. That day, they substituted artic char for the trout. he enjoyed it.

Reliable GooD food and suPerb Service! Pro Tip: Make a RESERVATION! Impressive well oiled restaurant. I haven't been to my local Houston's in ages but this Boca location was flawless. ++. Ambiance is expected darker moodier comfy space plus Western lodge / beams vibe. Their exterior garden waiting area was super cute and was tastefully done. ++. Food is updated American. We came here for their babyback ribs which were fall off the bone tender. They were well executed especially if you like their BBQ sauce which one of my family members would drink. I substituted fries for their sautéed purple cabbage with goat cheese that was delicious as always. For me, more impressive was their Caesar salad as it's rare to find one that I'll actually finish. I prefer mine made from scratch. Their kale salad was enjoyed as well. Most impressive was their grilled artichoke appetizer. We saw it on the grill on our way in, ordered it and it was astonishing!! The BEST artichoke ever :)) +. Price is slightly higher. +++. Service was impeccable at this location... best Houston's experience ever! I've tried both Atlanta and Pompano locations. They were helpful, efficient, courteous and not rushed. They do A LOT of business here and were fully booked. With declining service level at so many places, this Houston's has kept theirs in tact :) +. Parking is free in a semi private office-park lot in front of Houston's. MY RATINGS --- Inhumane -- Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++ EDIBLE... WHERE have you been all my LiFe!

Ordered the Hawaiian ribeye which is always amazing with a loaded baked potato, I also had the spinach and artichoke dip. Food is always freshly prepared with the top chefs I believe because they know how to put the most proper char to a beautiful ribeye. Must try the Brussel sprouts also. read more

I used to like this place and have been to several of their locations. First time going out to an indoor restaurant in 18 months for the 4 of us. We arrived very early at 5PM and ordered wine, drinks and appetizers. About 45 minutes in, the manager came to our table and said that we were allowed only 90 minutes to eat. She said that we had to hurry up and order our entrees. I have never been so embarrassed in my life at a restaurant which is supposed to be the hospitality business. They are more concerned with turning over tables than insuring that everyone has a pleasant dining experience. The food is decent but not spectacular- we are not talking about Iron Chef menu. Any of the dishes I could make myself. I am also more offended that she chose to pick on a table of 4 women. I'm wondering if she would have had the nerve to do that to 4 men. Women tend to tip better contrary to opinion since most of us had to work as a waitress one time in our lives. Houston's just lost 4 customers' business forever. And their Key Lime Pie cannot even compare to mine. read more

THE BEST STEAK in town. The filet is awesome. The spinach dip is awesome , the special chili on Saturday's and Sunday is awesome. The burgers are perfect. They have a good side Caesar salad. The Thai noodle salad is good also. Artichokes when in season are awesome. But , let's talk about something else. If you came in late even five minutes before they are closing, you don't notice a difference in service where as most other restaurants are acting like you are bothering them as they are putting chairs on the table. You get the same great service even if you are the last person there at night. Brian and Megan at the bar are great and are always on point to make sure you get exactly what you want. They are awesome. read more

I've been a Hillstone regular for some time. It's the most consistent restaurant group. This location is no different. I was recently relocated to Southern Florida and as soon as I walked in, I could tell it was a Hillstone restaurant. I was greeted by a friendly smile. I didn't have a reservation but was able to get seated promptly. As soon as I got to the table, a server came by and took my beverage order. Not long after, my actual server, Aaron, introduced himself. He was kind, friendly, and charismatic. He really knew the menu. I ordered what I normally order, the French Dip sandwich with aus jus. You cannot get a better prime rib sandwich anywhere. I finished my meal off with coffee and an apple walnut cobbler. Again, delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant as well as all Hillstone restaurants. read more

OH MY GOSH! Let me start off by saying that is this some of the best service I have ever had. Houston's is known for its delicious and prime steak dishes and 5 star experience. IT definitely lived up to its rep for me. I went for a work lunch and was recommended the Thai steak noodle salad and WOW. The amount of flavor I experienced was beyond! The steak was cooked to perfection and had an addicting flavor because of the sauce. The salad had mango, avocado and yummy greens. I would've never thought I'd have mango and steak on the same dish but now I don't why I haven't! Absolutely delicious. The service was A1! Very sweet waiters and tentative. I always enjoy good service. 10 out of 10 recommended! read more

Normally love this place, service, food, atmosphere. Today had the most horrific uncomfortable experience with a lady who seems to be the manager but was at the hostess stand. Asked for a seating for 7, she said they don't seat 7. I understand that so I said well, 5 and when the other two come they can just ask for seating for two. There was no one waiting inside or outside. She proceeds to say there was an hour and half wait. Hmmm. Really. Guess that wait list for "special" people. read more

I always go here and never have any problems. One of the best places in Boca for a more upscale sit down restaurant. I love the Hawaiian, the burgers, and the spinach artichoke dip. Everything is excellent whenever I go. read more

Quick lunch, or Dinner whatever it may be Houston's is a go to. The French dip is a no brainer for lunch, and the Thai salad is killer. Fast and friendly service. Atmosphere changes in the evening, makes for a nice date night. read more

Was really disappointed I love coming here one of my favorite places to eat but on my last visit the service was not as grate or as good as it should be for the price you pay at houstons, the food I could not fault was prepared really well as was of quality ingredients. With my filet steak and loaded baked potato I asked for a side of chefs dressing which came to me half way through my dinner. Little things like this put me off as there is so much other competition. We came here, for a business meeting! I must say from start to finish the staff went above & beyond for us. I ordered their veggie burger with Broccoli. Which was by far the BEST veggie burger ever!!! My husband had steak, oh my ...he was in heaven! Awesome appetizers and cocktails! This was a great treat from our friends at Alliant Title & Escrow! Tried to get a table for 5 for my dads 88th birthday and the bitchy greeter told us we can sit at 2 separate tables outside but wouldn't push them together. She said there was a table inside. Again my dad is 88! And it is his birthday. Not going back. It is a pandemic and we have an 88 year old that would have been safer outside. We were told say before we could be seated outside but couldn't make a reservation. So many restaurants to choose from so we went to seasons 52 & not going back to Houston's probably ever again. Oh and they were NOT busy at 2:30 pm on New Year's Day! read more

Our experience at Houston's was outstanding. Our server was very kind, knowledgeable, and prompt. Despite being very busy, our food came out in a timely manner and everything was absolutely delicious. If I had to recommend one dish, it would be the spinach artichoke dip. We went to Houston's last night. What a mistake. To start off we were a party of 6 and approached the Hostess for a table. She said they can't seat 6 people because of Covid which is BS and would have to break our party up to 4 and 2. When we agreed to this we asked to be seated next to each other so we can talk. She flatly refused and placed us on opposite sides of the restaurant. She was definitely dumb as a stump. After being seated we ordered drinks. We ordered bottle beer. Our server came back and said they are getting away from bottles and only had Draft. I ordered a Coke and was told no fountain soda, only bottles and no free refills. And then to top it off when we paid our check in cash we were told no cash only credit cards. Well needless to say we will never be back and I urge everyone else to stay away until they realize that this is Florida and not that Shithole New York !!! read more

Everyone knows about Houston's, right? Super professional service with food that literally looks and tastes the same every single time you order it. Quality and Consistency: the bedrock of Houston's. The menu is essentially unchanged since day one, and even the specials are predictable; however, that's an overall positive in my opinion. They know exactly what to make and how to make it, and they have everything down to a science. The menu has enough American choices for anyone in your party, and they serve everything hot and quick. Solid five stars. read more

Ok so tonight I'm at Houston's in boca. I've been here many times and whatever you eat is gonna be deliscious. Tonight I had salmon. Very nice and competent bar lady with the nicest attitude poured me the shortest goose on the rocks I've seen since Chili's 25 years ago. I actually refused it tonight and simply asked to make it a martini and she graciously did that. I really don't know the price of either drink because I'm still sitting here. My advice is simply this. Have a martini Don't order anything on the rocks. I've been watching them pour. Oy When I was a bartender I knew who to short pour. It's an important part of the industry. You short pour a newbie on their Singapore sling and you fill the glass of an oldie (like me) and it's just a part of the business. No one trained these gals. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere dark and sexy but well lit on your food. Perfect! By the way I never went back to the bar in Chili's along with my whole family. Think of it. 25 years of loss of revenue for such a short pour that I called for Mgr and showed him the drink before I touched it. He had to be pulled from his cel phone to come to the bar annoyed. His answer? "Did you want a double " I paid and left with my gang of 6 and walked to the next restaurant to Chili's and proudly never went back. Stunning loss for them My advice as an old restauranteur is: Buy glassware that you can fill and still make money and then Charge them and fill it! Houston's a good choice but seasons very similar is still better choice. That's a rant Er Wrap I mean. That's a wrap Nuthin but love here kids read more

We go to houstons at least once of month. It is definitely a regular spot for us. The food there is always consistent. Service is usually great. They aren't great for large parties - any party over 4 really. The reason this location gets two stars is due to take out service. The first time I ordered and received a cold spinach I simply asked about it next time I was in for lunch or dinner. The second time I called my order is and told them I am getting on the road. Pregnant and starving can you please heat it up for me. For some reason I didn't check until I got into the car , probably because. I was excited for spinach dip , and of course it was cold. They happily heated it for me but it was definitely not as good as normal or as good as when I reheat it myself at home - I do order take out from Atlantic location quite often. I hope next time for better luck as houstons is a staple for us. read more

Great food, but terribly rude service. Is the only restaurant in Florida where i feel asking for a favor, not having a good and cordial business relationship. Last time we came in two families of 4 pax each, and they would not allow us to sit even in 2 separate tables. We drove an hour to get there, and had to turn. All that in a rude and inflexible way. Never going back... read more

Can I give 6 stars? Had such a nice night at this Houston's. Food is always perfect and ambiance is chill .The seasonal Artichoke and the Salmon with crostinis dishes are consistently great . Reservations make it easiest and even if your time slot is a later one, you don't feel rushed in and out. Service is top notch and everyone is so helpful! read more

A top quality culinary delight. From the moment you enter till the moment you leave you're surrounded by an elegant atmosphere and excellent customer service attendance. If there's one knock, and I'm reaching, it's that there's not a wider selection of vegan/plant-based options. My date and I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks the appetizers and the entrées. The broccoli, artichoke, fries and salmon dishes were done just right. Until the next time. read more

The food here is top notch, almost never have a bad meal here. My favorite dish by far is the ruby red trout. It is always cooked perfectly, sometimes, a little too salty, but tastes soo good. The baked potatoes are great, but sad they aren't served at lunch time, so that was a bummer. But the kale salad is also my favorite and dressed perfectly here in Boca. Some of the other Houston's can be a little heavy handed with the dressing. The only reason to deduct 2 star is the service was quite spotty. When sitting in the dining room, the service is better, when we sat at the smaller booths in the bar, the service was slow, and inattentive. But all can be forgiven. read more

Houston restaurant in Boca always has great food. They usually are pretty good about honouring reservations . Unfortunately our reservation was not honoured tonight it was at least 20 mins later. Yes it was Christmas Eve. We started off with the appetizer of smoked salmon which was very juicy and moist. For the main course we order the following for our table . The chicken tenders were very juicy in a tempura batter . The Thai salads with noodles and chicken was very good with a little kick to it. The salmon and artic char fishes were fantastic. The fries were great with the spicy let up and the spicy mayo . The only issue we had was it was Christmas Eve and they were over booked - the server was in a rush to get us in and our as fast as possible . The food was a hit but the service was below Houston's standards. Do to several mess ups Megan the manager made sure to show how important customer service and brand loyalty is - Megan went out of her way to make things were more then right . Megan is the type of manager any good restaurants wants to have leading the Team. Thank you Megan and we will be back . Happy Holidays read more

So I have been to this location a few times but I have not reviewed because I mostly order to go. I was tempted to try the ribs because the last time there I saw someone eating them at the bar and looked good. I ended up ordering my usual: spinach artichoke dip and the grilled chicken salad. Both were very good, although I had asked for my salad without jicama. Guy the bartender who helped me was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Definitely make sure you ask for her when you eat at the bar. My only wish is that instead of the mini bottles of soda that they offer it on tap. That little bottle goes out fast and no refills once your done. read more

This place is so Boca.....and besides that it's pretty good. The food is wonderful here along with the service (minus the servers with a little too much Boca attitude going on) but it's way overpriced. $18 for a chicken tender platter? No thanks, I'll head elsewhere. I would definitely come here if someone else was paying and I wanted to feel like I'm not good enough for Boca. Not many Houston's restaurants around anymore. Price of food compared to the value received, not so good. This place is in need of updating for both menu and dining room. Our service was great even when certain people in our party couldn't make up their minds. The food is also good too, just too high priced but I understand for a place to be in the heart of Boca Raton and next to a hotel and other high priced restaurants. If you don't keep up with the times, you will quickly be ignored. I would still recommend this place as it has plenty of nostalgia left for some of us. However, for the sake of the business, they should update it soon. read more

Celebrated my niece's 18th birthday. Really good time, good food and terrific service. I paid nearly $50 for my New York Strip, and it was fantastic ... worth every scrumptious bite. It included a couple of Stella Artois. Special occasions call for places like this. I certainly wouldn't work this place into my normal routine, but wouldn't hesitate to visit again to celebrate one thing or another. read more

Oh Houstons. I spent many of my high school days waiting for a table on their lovely patio. My friends and I sure loved their spinach dip- so much so that we'd practically lick the bowl clean. Those were the days of faster metabolism when I could actually eat spinach dip a few days a week and not have to go to the gym. Sigh, how times have changed. When my dad visited for parents weekend during my freshman year at Northwestern he asked where I'd like to go for dinner in downtown Chicago. He said I could pick any restaurant I wanted. Most people would choose Charlie Trotter's, but I wanted Houstons! Yep, that's how much I loved Houstons. Unfortunately, I soon discovered that Chicagoans didn't love Houstons as much as Floridians because they closed within a few years. No more spinach dip, no more veggie burger, and no more delicious chicken salad! So whenever I head home to South Florida I insist on getting my Houstons fix. I don't care that they are ALWAYS busy and it takes at least 45 minutes to get a table (no matter what time of day it is). I don't even mind when they forget to place my order like they did during my visit there today. Houstons can do no wrong in my eyes. Come back to Chicago!! read more

Do not go here if you have more than 4 people in your party. They do not take reservations and only have THREE tables in their entire restaurant they deem large enough to accommodate more than four people, which is a joke. So we (party of 5) show up at 5:00pm to get a table and of course the three measly tables for "large" parties are taken and the wait is 2 hours. Don't waste your time. They clearly do not want large parties. read more

When I lived in New York City, Houstons was our go-to spot for special occasions. I especially loved the chilled salad plates, the attentive service, the open kitchen concept, and, of course, the consistently delicious food. Sadly, both NYC locations closed years ago. This was my first time visiting a Houstons in about 20 years, and I'm thrilled to report that it did not disappoint. Ambiance: The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The lighting is dim, with plenty of wood accents, creating a cozy vibe. The noise level was slightly above average but not unpleasant--I had no trouble hearing my dining companions or being heard. Service: Our waitress was fantastic, frequently checking on us to ensure we were enjoying our meal. She promptly refilled our water and beverages without us ever needing to ask. Her attentiveness was a standout part of the experience. Food: * Spinach and Artichoke Dip: This dish was absolutely fabulous--velvety smooth, flavorful, and served piping hot. This was the restaurant experience from hell. I had to wait 30 minutes for a table for one. My server was a young, flirtatious, dark-haired (pony-tailed) waitress who had served me on prior dining occasions and had once told me her life story and about the troubles she was having at home with her single child and his deadbeat father. Could she have been trying to gain my sympathy so that I would leave her a large tip? I don't know. She appeared to be in good spirits last night (Wed. Jan 11, 2011) and I jokingly made the remark that it's too bad that she was in uniform and couldn't join me for dinner. She smiled, took my order and then disappeared. Afterwards, I waited for my salad, which never arrived. Instead, one of the assistant managers, David Grossman, along with a thin, Black, Haitian-accented Wackenhut security guard (in full uniform including cowboy hat), approached my table. Grossman ordered me to leave the restaurant, claiming that I had made an inappropriate comment to the female server. When I asked him specifically which comment he was referring to, he refused to mention it. I told him that it was not necessary to embarrass me by bringing a uniformed security guard to my table in an effort to intimidate me, a paying customer who had done nothing wrong. He responded "too bad". As I was exiting the restaurant, the security guard initially blocked my path and I told him to move out of the way. He began unleashing a torrent of abusive, threatening comments, and as he stood next to my car, threatened to "kick my ass" if I ever returned. I have eaten at the Boca Raton Houston's on many prior occasions without incident. Instead of being given the benefit of the doubt as a repeat customer, I feel that assistant manager David Grossman and the security guard were way out of line an could have handled the situation more appropriately and effectively. Grossman could have at the very least, asked for my version of the conversation with the server and been more diplomatic and tactful in his resolving the conflict. I was neither inebriated, nor was I belligerent at any time. I did not deserve such reprehensible abuse and will be reporting this matter to the BBB and Houston's corporate office. read more

We were looking forward to dining at Houston's in Boca Raton, especially given its reputation and our family's love for a good steak dinner paired with fine wine. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by their seating policy, which, to our surprise and disappointment, restricts parties to no more than 4 people sitting together. Our family, though not extended, counts 6 members. We found ourselves in a situation where we could not share a meal together in the same space. This policy felt not only unwelcoming but also a bit perplexing. We're accustomed to dining out and enjoying such occasions as a family, and it's disheartening to feel that our business, and by extension, our family, was not accommodated or valued. I understand the necessity for certain policies, perhaps aimed at managing space or providing a certain dining atmosphere. However, I believe there is room for flexibility or alternative solutions that cater to families of all sizes, especially when willing to partake in multiple courses and selections from the wine list. I encourage Houston's to reconsider this policy. There's an opportunity here to embrace a more inclusive approach that welcomes families, big and small, and enhances their dining experience. Restaurants are places of gathering, celebration, and joy, and it would be wonderful to see policies that reflect this spirit fully. I hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit in which it is intended. If I had the option to rate this place a zero, I would. The service has gone downhill at this restaurant. A few months ago, I found a huge bug in my husband's salad, I know, beyond gross. After telling the staff, they took the plate so fast so I couldn't take a pic, they did give us our food for free. We stopped going for a month or so but living in boca and being a regular at this restaurant, of course we went back. We were having a drink at the bar waiting for our table when two seats opened up. Me and my husband wanted to sit down and get dip, but a hostess comes up to us to tell us were not allowed because we were a party of 3, we assured them that our son who was visiting from college could stand at the bar while we sat, she denied us and gave the seats to a party that just arrived. We got humiliated by a young hostess that didn't know shit, she called herself a manager. My husband went up to the hostess and said that we will leave if we don't get seated and she said "Bye". What type of customer service is this Houston's? Is this how you treat your regulars? read more

Went to Houston's recently and the food was exactly what you'd expect, solid, consistent, the kind of place you go back to without having to think twice. But honestly, this review is really about our server, Emily H. She was the kind of server you don't run into very often. Knew the menu cold, not in a "let me recite the specials" way, but in a "she's clearly eaten everything here and has opinions" way. Every recommendation felt genuine. Timing was perfect. Never had to wave anyone down. Water refilled before you noticed it was low. What really stood out was that she carried herself like someone who's been doing this for years and genuinely likes it. No awkward pauses, no checking with a manager, no "I think" just confidence and warmth. If she's new, she fooled everyone at the table. Houston's, do whatever you need to do to keep her around. We have been coming to this restaurant for well over 10 years. I even worked here as a service bartender for a few months and KNEW TO ALWAYS clean the martini glasses because of the lipstick. My mother (who eats there probably 5 times a week) had four huge lipstick stains on her glass. She address it with the manager Megan. Megan didn't seem to care what so ever that my mother was served and drank from a dirty glass. My mother wrote a yelp review AND IS NOW BANNED FROM GOING TO THE BOCA RESTAURANT. In what world does this manager live in thinking it's okay to ban a regular because she wrote one negative yelp review from a negative experience she had. SHAME ON HER AND CORPORATE. read more

I have been going to Houston's for 20 years, never again. the so called manager, a disgusting human being if that is what she is, Logan Bushman, allowed 5 women in sandals in before us, then allowed a man in Docksiders and no socks in when it got to us, my son had just had swollen ankle and was wearing a brace, a sock and slides. you could tell he was hurt. THEY WOULDNT SEAT US. THIS DESPICABLE HUMAN BEING told us to leave and that only women or babies can wear sandals. and no socks are ok if you have expensive shoes on. are you flipping kidding me? I'll never go there again and plan of suing for discrimination. Logan should be fired immediately. I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN read more

Very overrated place, not sure why this place is always busy. We ordered two entrees, the flying chicken and filet mignon. The Chicken "tenders" were chewy chicken thighs with a pancake type, tempura batter on it, for $19 I've had better chicken tenders from Chick fil A. The filet was ordered medium and came REAR. We had to wave our server down for 10 minutes just to get service. After finally coming back to the table, we addressed the rear steak, and she said oh do you want me to recook it? After we've had it for 15 minutes, and are finished eating. Then she just grabbed the check. Terrible service for a $50 steak that arrived bloody. read more

Back again and as good as it ever has been. Just had lunch with a friend and had the fish sandwich, which was amazing. Trish, the bartender was friendly and prompt. Always a pleasure to come here. Has to take a business call while I was there which took a while, so I sat on the beautifully landscaped patio on a wood Adirondack chair which would be a great place to have a pre or post dinner drink. When I got back, Trish had the kitchen make me a whole new fish sandwich since I had only taken one bite before I got the phone call and when I got back my food would have been cold. Total class act! One of the best resteraunts in boca by far with New York prime right up its alley the food is amazing! The stone crabs are amazing but they rarely have them the spinach dip is soooooo good the artichokes are unbelievable as we'll the only thing I don't like is the manager I can not stand her I go to houstons once or twice a week and I notice she is very rude but other then that houstons is amazing and I can't complain about anything the service is amazing the waiters are extremely professional always polite and never mess up am order gotta love it read more

Grilled artichoke x 2. (I can't eat just one.) They reliably serve good food at a decent price. Excellent service and flavor brings me back. Memorable shoe string french fries; memorable prime rib dip; memorable tortilla soup; and --- of course, the grilled artichoke! Love it! Only issue can be getting in during the winter months when there are lots of visitors - best bet if you are trying Houstons for the first time is to enjoy Houstons for lunch because of the long wait times are shorter. Lunch usually affords you a table in no time. read more

Food and service were solid like most Houstons. I've been to this one a few times when in the area on business. My negative was the Manager, I asked the waitress and she confirmed it. He dressed down a Hostess right in front of people that were waiting to be seated. I came very close to saying something since I'm in management but let it pass. It has been eating at me ever since. He was a little bald man who had a po'd look on his face when I walked by. Hopefully he won't be there when I go back bacause I will say something. read more

My husband & I went for my birthday. Service was top notch, I had deep fried chicken fingers in Tempura coating. Chicken wa moist and outside was crispy. My husband had the Beef Au jus sandwich, he enjoyed it. noth meals came with a good size service of coleslaw which was very good. We did make reservations, even though it was a wed. I can see it getting very crowed on a fri/sat night. As previous dinner said " its nots as big as it looks from the outside. We will go back and try the steak and appetizers. read more

Smallest portions for takeout. I eat here at least once a week and decided to try carryout since we didn't want to deal with the crowd. Ordered three salads, two steak and noodle and another chicken one. The portions were 1/3 what I get in the restaurant. It looked like they took mine and my fiancées orders, created one, split in half and put it in two boxes and charged us twice. Can't say I'll be going back anytime soon after coughing up 75 bucks for three salads that disappointing and small. read more

As a true fan of all things Hillstone. This property in Boca is top notch. It reminds me of the old school Houston's properties from my childhood. Classic menu. Amazing service. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave you truly feel like you're at home. It was my first time visiting Houston's at Boca Raton. I shared a caesar salad with my friend and the salad was really flavorful. Then I had the heckory burger (something like that, I cant remember exactly what was it called) and it was outstanding. Thanks to Amanda for her great recommendations and pleasance. I always enjoy any Houston's restaurant, they are always consistent with their great food, the veggie burger is by far the best I've ever tasted in my life. Also if you like fish they have AMAZING smoke salmon. The only issue with this Houston's is it is constantly busy, Every time I go its at least a 30 min wait minimum. So if your in a rush or don't like waiting you should def make a reservation. But the food is totally worth it. read more
