Five stars. If you are thinking about holiday dinners or parties - or even just a great steak dinner for two right now . .. Check this out. We had a work dinner for 20 people. The waiters are excellent. The Manager checks in regularly to confirm your needs are being met. Everyone so caring and professional. The aviance is wonderful. The art in the ceiling is stunning. Yes ARTWORK. The Food is spectacular. The bar selection is excellent. Make a reservation. They ARE the total package!

All of the food was amazing. My filet was cooked perfectly. Every steak comes with a portion of onion straws. The side of spinach was exceptional with the cheese and seasoning. Bread is available by request and was a nice assortment. We had excellent service and enjoyed the decor. We will dine here again.

Ambiance was fine Service was okay But the food was absolutely amazing! This was all of our first time dining at Hyde Park, and we left very happy! The cosmo was yummy and strong! Since it was our first time, we received a little tasting. Yum! The two guys got soups: onion and lobster bisque. They both loved it. The Caesar salad was also nice! We all got a filet and shared sides! Very much loved the mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and asparagus! The dessert was good too! 100% going back! Hopefully it's just as amazing as the first time!

We visited on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful experience. The drinks were great, and the wine was very reasonably priced--we enjoyed a Cabernet Sauvignon for $10.75. For appetizers, we ordered the lobster escargot, which was very flavorful. For our entrées, we had the 8-ounce filet mignon and the 14-ounce New York strip, both cooked medium, and were cooked perfectly. We also ordered a side of garlic mashed potatoes, which were a bit too garlicky--even for someone who loves garlic, which says a lot! Overall, the waitstaff was knowledgeable and very attentive. We will definitely be back for another special occasion. Tab came to ~$285 2 drinks, 1 app, 2 steaks and 1 side. With tip

We loved the decor but it is very loud in here. The bar area looks very welcoming and they have a Happy Hour. I recommend a booth to block out some of the noise. We had Matt as a server and he was great. He asked who had a birthday in August when he arrived at the table as he was excited that we had the same birthday. He was so personable and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the lobster escargots as per his recommendation and it was delicious. If you want bread service you need to ask. There is no charge and a nice selection. Doing the bread in the little cups of garlic butter is a must! The entrees come with a side of onion straws which we all felt were lackluster and not warm. My hubby loved his filet, perfectly seasoned and cooked medium rare. I ordered the lamb chops and they were delicious! We also ordered the spinach and mushrooms which didn't arrive with our meal and Matt hand served them to us so I forgot a picture. We were too stuffed for dessert but some that went by looked great. Both the manager and general manager came to our table to check how the meal was going. We will definitely return when season is over to see if it's less noisy.

From the moment we walked in, Hyde Park set the tone for an upscale, classic steakhouse experience. The interior was dimly lit and elegant -- think rich woods, leather seating, and a polished atmosphere perfect for a special night out. The Cocktail -- A Showstopper The cosmopolitan I ordered was not just delicious -- it came with a "smoking" dome w presentation that turned heads. It added a dramatic, almost theatrical flair that made it more than just a drink -- it was part of the experience. A great start to the evening and highly Instagrammable if that's your thing. I also saw Smokey old fashion presentation brought in a cage! Starters - French onion soup and ceaser salad, great easy to start the evening The Steaks -- Cooked to Perfection We ordered: * Small Filet Mignon: Tender, buttery, and cooked exactly to temp. It was melt-in-your-mouth good -- a great option if you want something elegant and lean. * Ribeye: Rich, juicy, and packed with flavor. This cut had more marbling and a bolder, beefier taste -- ideal for those who want something a little more indulgent. Both steaks came beautifully plated and arrived hot, with a slight sear and perfect doneness. You could taste the quality of the meat -- no corners cut here. Service & Overall Vibe Our server was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Timing between courses was well-paced, and they made us feel welcomed throughout. Hyde Park really nails the balance between fine dining and a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Price Point It's definitely on the higher end, but the quality of the steaks, the flair of the cocktail, and the overall ambiance justify the price -- especially for a special occasion or a night you want to remember. Final Verdict Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse delivered a fantastic experience -- from a show-stopping cocktail to expertly cooked steaks in a refined setting. Whether you're a steak lover or just looking to impress, this spot hits the mark. Rating: 4.7 / 5 Would I go back? Absolutely -- next time, I'm trying the lobster bisque and more of their cocktails.

One of the best restaurants I have been to. The best customer service I have experienced. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. From the moment we sat down until we left we had great customer service. From The person serving us drinks, to the one who taking our orders, even the manager was attentive, she came by our table twice to make sure how our food and drinks were, and even gave us a free sample of the tuna tartare. We were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and they gave him a free s'mores dessert. The ambiance is high end. Beautiful lighting, a piano player, spacious seating inside and High end decor. Absolutely beautiful. We started with the Hyde park wedge salad. It had pecans in it- which was new to me. I never had a wedge salad like that before and it was good. The millionaires potatoes were not that great to me, but the Hp burger was delicious. The sauce used makes the hamburger even better. We ended with dessert. We tried the flaming butter cake and vanilla bean crème Brûlée. The flaming butter cake is an experience on its own. They torch the cake in front of you! Very cool. Great place for a birthday, a large group, date night, or a nice dinner.

Really cool vibe and great wine list! I really appreciate their accommodation- I made reservation for 2 but last min, a friend wanted to join. So instead of turning us away in a busy Friday evening, the manager grabbed the first available table at the bar which is first come, first serve. It was a small accommodation, but it helped save our dinner evening. Their steak was of course delicious, btw!

Thin, tasteless sauces. Not on par with the great beef they serve.

Service and food were amazing. Ask for Lauren at the bar- top notch! You do however, have to school your chef on the culinary way to prepare sauce bernaise! Where are the tarragon flakes, the shallots, the dry white wine, the butter, the egg yolks?? Your beef is amazing but why are your sauces drippy messes? Don't get me started on your peppercorn sauce without peppercorns? Step it up chef! Do I have to come in there?

We really enjoyed our dinner at this new, busy spot! It has a nice, clubby steakhouse atmosphere, excellent service, and truly fine food. I especially appreciated Kia, one of the managers, stopping by soon after our party of five was seated to welcome us and make sure we were taken care of -- checking back several times throughout the evening. Starters: We began with French Onion Soup, Wedge Salad, Caesar Salad, and the Lobster "Escargot Style" -- butter-poached lobster with garlic, parsley, and crostini. It's an unusual and creative presentation -- small pieces of lobster in a rich escargot-style sauce. While it was good, next time I'll return to the excellent Crabmeat Cocktail. The Chilled Lobster Tail Cocktail (with cucumber-lime-jalapeño and classic cocktail sauces) was outstanding. Crab Cake, very good. Entrees: Our group enjoyed Filet Mignons topped with Jumbo Crab, Asparagus, and Béarnaise; a perfectly cooked Grilled Berkshire Pork Chop; and a 6oz Japanese A5 Wagyu Strip Steak (sliced). Sides: All were excellent -- Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus, Sautéed Spinach & Domestic Mushrooms, and Roasted Creamed Corn with Pancetta. Desserts: The Salted Caramel Cheesecake with toasted pecans and caramel sauce was flavorful but a bit too salty for my taste. The Flourless Chocolate Torte and Bourbon Bread Pudding were rich but a little dense. Excellent Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee Drinks & Service: Great cocktails and wine list. Service was superb all around -- Madison at the host stand, Andre our server, and Dominic our busser were all warm, professional, and attentive. Verdict: A top-notch experience from start to finish. Very highly recommended. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Finally made it to Hyde Park Steakhouse in Delray Beach about 2-weeks ago and it's about time I post my review! As anyone can see perusing Yelp, Hyde Park has gotten some very mixed reviews. To be fair, several of the lower ratings were around the restaurants soft-opening. As a rule-of-thumb, I forgo rating a restaurant that gives me a free meal as part of their soft-opening because hey, they're trying to figure things out and feeding you for free to gain that experience. My meal certainly wasn't free, and this is not an inexpensive restaurant. But the question is, did the food justify the price? YES! I wish my attached photos came out better, but the lighting in the restaurant just isn't optimal for photo ops. Oh well. I ordered two appetizers, which is something I do often when trying a new restaurant. Especially when they are two of my favorite things to eat: - Ahi Tuna Tower which contained plenty of avocado and enough crispy homemade wontons to accommodate the portion size. - Crab cake which was served with a spicy mustard sauce. I am going to start with the crab cake because this may be the best crab cake I've ever had. If there was any filler it was minimal, and the crab was served in huge chunks and as succulent as can be (I'm guessing it was Maryland Blue Crab, but since the menu doesn't say, it's only a guess). For an appetizer serving, it was plenty big. Tuna tartare is one of those benchmark items for me. I simply love it, and this was probably the best I've had in Delray Beach. I love avocado, so was happy to see that it was served on top of a large portion, albeit a little more tuna, and a little less avocado would have been ok too (hint). It would be difficult for me to not re-order this same meal my next visit. It was really that good. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and readily available throughout the meal. Front-of-the-house let me select a table (we arrived at 6:30 pm, before the restaurant filled up). If I have one criticism it is that Hyde Park gets LOUD. Like really loud. By the time we left close to 8:30 pm we were yelling across a two-person table. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. While I didn't drink, I split with a friend who ordered an entree and had two glasses of wine. We shared an order of Brussels sprouts (delish!). My share with tip was $105. Pricey, but I'd happily pay it again. Next time I'd probably make this an earlier dinner (5:30/6 pm) so I could get out before the crowds take over.

They were both excellent. The fingerlings and asparagus were good and loved the red wine sauce. The crispy chicken was not too heavy, with lemon and an ample arugula salad. I don't remember the name of desert, but it was a combo of a browny with an Oreo cookie layer (which the kid in me couldn't refuse) with a scoop vanilla ice cream. It was great.

I've had the truffle bombs before and loved them, but this time they were off. The toro (tuna belly) was just meh--lacking the richness and flavor you'd expect. The Wagyu was ordered medium rare but came out closer to medium and was overwhelmingly salty. The halibut was probably the best dish of the night, but the portion was shockingly small--maybe 3 oz at best. The Japanese mushrooms were so salty they were essentially inedible. Even the espressos arrived lukewarm. Both the mushrooms and espressos were comp'd--a $15 adjustment--which felt insignificant given the overall experience. The only real highlights were the drinks: a Caymus Sauvignon Blanc that was excellent, along with a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and Frangelico. After spending $850 (including tip) for three people, this experience was a major disappointment. Sadly, we won't be returning.

The restaurant has its own separate building. And it has a small private self parking lot. Inside there are two rooms. The one in front has large windows and is lighter and airier. The room in back has a small bar and two tables. Plus a service area and the unisex bathroom. Reservations are a must. We used open table. We came early and luckily our table was ready. Our server, Erica, was a gem. Warm and welcoming. And professional. Didn't miss a trick. She explained the menu to us. There were no specials that evening. I'd original thought I would order the branzino -- which she said was good -- but as they specialize in meats, I ordered steak. We were given an amuse bouche first. Avocado and tomato on a mini taco. Too cute. I started with a Caesar salad. I like anchovies and there were several on top. The salad had a nice garlicky dressing and cubes of sourdough bread croutons. My husband had seared foie gras with figs to start. The appetizer listed on the menu is actually pate -- as Erica explained -- which we didn't realize -- but she said if my husband preferred, they could do an actual piece of foie gras. Yes, please. It's one of his favorites. He said it was spectacular. For our entrees, we both order the small filet mignon. He ordered medium rare and I ordered medium. We like Pittsburgh charred. For a side (they are big enough to share), we got the creamed spinach. Both our steaks were perfectly cooked. We had been given steak knives, but each steak was amazingly tender. And delicious. The spinach was good. It needed just a touch of salt. We ate every bite of both items. Pre-dessert, they give an amuse dessert (!). A small plate of two mini lemon Madeline's and two small round chocolate brownie like cake. For dessert, we shared a slice of flourless chocolate cake. It came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The slice looked meager at first, but the chocolate is so rich and dense and fudgy that I couldn't eat it all in one sitting. I brought a small piece of it home for later when I knew I would appreciate it more. We are already trying to figure out an event or celebration that we can use as an excuse to return here. Talk about a memorable meal? We will think of this superb restaurant for all the rest of our days.

I love that you get to pick out your own knife for the meal. Such a fun little detail that makes dinner feel like an experience from the start. We shared the ribeye with all three sauces, Peppercorn, Red Condimento and Chimichurri, and loved every one. We paired it with the creamed spinach, duck confit mac and cheese and truffle Provençal fries. Everything was so flavorful and perfectly done!
