Hubbard Grille is one of the best spots for happy hour in the Short North! Their $5 happy hour is incredible; $5 apps, $5 flatbreads, & $5 drinks! The weekday deals are just as good; my favorite is Sliders Night on Thursday's where you get 2 sliders and fries for only $10! The service here is always excellent & I love the vibes! The brussels are a must; and it's hard to pass up on a $10 bottle of wine deal! I got the fried chicken sliders and the parm truffle fries, and they were delicious! You need to stop by soon!

Thank you so much to Luke and Megan for making our little wedding reception amazing! Everything was amazing and they're very accommodating to our needs! Again thank you and highly recommend! Food and drinks were 10/10!

Stopped in for a drink at the end of the night and were easily able to find seats at the bar. The service was quick and the menu had lots of options to enjoy. Everyone opted for a different craft cocktail. I choose the old fashioned which was a little watered down but others enjoyed the espresso martini and the old fashioned made with tequila.

Went for lunch on a Saturday. We were the only table with a couple people at the bar. We ordered the $10 jalapeño cornbread. It was cold, which I don't believe it should have been. It was 2 super small pieces of bread. Flavor was good but definitely a terrible value for the amount. I ordered the classic burger with bacon and fries. It was good. My gf got a flatbread and Brussel sprouts. The sprouts were good but the pizza lacked much flavor. The service was slow and for the $$, I'd probably go someplace else. Unfortunately the entire experience was a let down!

We had a good time at Hubbard grille! The food was very good and the service was quick. We got a reservation last minute and the restaurant was quite busy! I loved the up and downstairs option for seating and the bar was really nice! We all enjoyed our meals a lot and the price was pretty fair! Would recommend!

Hubbard Grille is very okay. We stopped by on a Thursday night for their slider special. It's kinda confusing because they only have fried chicken slides on their normal menu. The special is $10 for two sliders and fries. You're supposed to pick from fried chicken, beef, or veggie. When we asked, we were told it's cheeseburgers, chicken, or veggie. We did one order of chicken, the other of cheese burgers, and then one app of brussel sprouts since it was HH and they were $5. The brussel sprouts were pretty bland. The glaze/sauce sunk to the bottom of the bowl. When the sliders came out, they were kinda sad. The cheeseburger was just a normal patty, cut in to four. Pretty small. The chicken was a small chicken tender. The chicken was dry. So with the bun and meat, we were needing to take sips of water in between. The fries were good! They came with two each. I know they're only $10, but it just wasn't very good. I would rather go get a chicken sandwich for $6 across the street during HH at the Eagle. We sat at the bar and at times had difficulty getting our waitresses attention. All the servers were chatting in the corner most of the time. She also was not very friendly. Overall I don't think I would be back, or for happy hour at least. They have a beautiful patio so I could see myself coming here with friends to enjoy that.

I went here for happy hour with a friend on Sunday. This was my first time trying the food here and it was phenomenal. Finally....truffle fries that actually taste like truffle! And the goat cheese dip was decadent paired with the $10 bottles of wine. Service was also great, the team was extremely welcoming for our first time. Overall, the ambiance is great, it's very spacious and would be a great date night spot.

Went for a couple beers and dinner. I had a burger and truffle fries. The burger was yummy and the truffle fries never disappoint! My friends had fried chicken and a combination of side dishes - they were pleased as well. Service was friendly and attentive. I'll be back - I've heard they have a terrific happy hour!

My first time here! I had a reservation and was seated immediately (not too busy at 5:30 pm so a reservation wasn't necessary) Server Brianna was sweet and made a few suggestions but I was there for the "famous fried chicken " Presentation Fried Chicken "Meh. I'm not impressed so far" The leg tasted and smelled like the grease needed to be changed. The fry was on point the crispy crunch was there Grits were delicious Brussels good Overall great value for the price and I'll come back to try the Flatbread Pizza or the Burger Great atmosphere Our All Natural Fried Chicken is only $10 all night! It's housemade and served with white cheddar grits, crispy Brussels sprouts, and black pepper gravy. Please allow a few extra minutes when ordering Jalapeño Corn Bread 10 baked fresh daily; served with maple honey butter HG Crispy Brussels Sprouts 10 the Hubbard classic - crispy sprouts, red wine reduction https://www.hubbardgrille.com/

    $10 fried chicken. Delicious!

Absolutely delicious, and I almost feel bad that they lost money on me. Almost... Came in on a Tuesday for dinner and sat at the bar. Bartender said the fried chicken was sooooo good, so I had to try it. It was absolutely delicious! Breading was flavorful, chicken was moist. Brussels were devine and although I don't know a grit from a writ, these were good. Washed everything down with a local IPA. The beer cost me $8, the dinner $10 as it was the weekly special.

Delicious food and solid service, not great for groups of HS kids- as it's a little bougie. Limited menu.

Our plan was to get to the restaurant 45 min early to have a drink at the bar before our reservation. We arrived and were told that the bar was also on a waiting list to sit down and it wasn't first come first served; even the tables in the bar area. So we out our name in for the bar, and waited. We waited over an hour. In this hour, we saw the same hostess that told us we needed to wait for a seat at the bar/bar table tell another couple they could sit at the open table. When I asked her about it, she said "oh sorry, your table will be ready soon." This was pretty disappointing. We finally sat in the back room about 30 min after our scheduled reservation and never got a drink at the bar. Dinner was good. The rolls were great. We might return, but were pretty turned off by the bar situation.

Every single plate was hitting. The steak was cooked exactly how I asked, seasoned well, and actually had flavor all the way through. The lobster ravioli was rich but not heavy, and the salmon was flaky and done right, not dry at all. What really made it though was the service. They were attentive without hovering, kept the drinks coming, and made it feel like a special night without being extra about it. For a birthday dinner, that matters. If you're going, don't go playing small. Order what you actually want. It's one of those places where you lean into the experience and enjoy it. Solid food, great service, and a good spot for something worth celebrating.

We started with a Hot Apple Cider, topped with maple-infused whipped cream and cinnamon, along with a couple of hot coffees. The cider was warm, comforting, and full of cozy fall flavors. Unfortunately, the self-serve coffee station wasn't kept stocked, and after waiting quite a while for a refill, we eventually gave up. For breakfast, we ordered two Mushroom Frittatas, a Fresh Buttermilk Biscuit, and a side of Housemade Breakfast Sausage. The Mushroom Frittata featured three hearth-baked eggs with roasted mushrooms, sweet onions, and Gruyère cheese, served alongside breakfast potatoes and a peppery arugula salad. It was flavorful, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. Although I informed the staff about my peanut allergy, I was surprised to find the crispy breakfast potatoes on my plate, which left me uncertain whether the allergy request had been fully communicated to the kitchen. The Fresh Buttermilk Biscuit, served with strawberry preserves, was one of the highlights of the meal. It was flaky, buttery, and wonderfully moist, pairing perfectly with the sweet preserves. The Housemade Breakfast Sausage consisted of two peppery pork patties that were juicy and well-seasoned, making a great accompaniment to the rest of the meal. Overall, we enjoyed a delicious and filling breakfast with fresh, high-quality ingredients. While I wish the coffee station had been monitored more closely and that greater care had been taken regarding my food allergy, the Mushroom Frittata and fresh biscuit alone make Northstar Café worth returning to.

My wife and I started dinner at 5:45 and didn't leave until 8:45 and it was a lovely evening. We chatted for hours, sampled some absolutely delicious food, and just generally relaxed. We had a lovely server, but to say it was just a single person would do the staff injustice. I feel like every single employee in the place waited on us. All of the staff were knowledgable and gave off pretty cool, chill vibes. Three hours is a long meal, but the pacing was superb. Courses didn't come out like beats on a metronome. Rather, the pacing was changed to meet the waxing and waning excitement for the next plate of an absolutely enormous amount of food. The appetizers came in at a measured pace, the mains slowed, and then deserts were served rapid fire. Between courses, staff might stop by for a quit chat before moving on to the next pressing matter. Lots of staff offered their thoughts on their favorite dishes or suggestions on how a plate my be best enjoyed. The whole experience lacked any pressure or pretense. There were fine dining touches such as replacement of my wife's napkin after she stepped away for a break, but it felt more like eating at a cool friends house than it did eating in the ballroom of a palace. Do you know what I mean? You aren't going to Agni for opulence. You are going for a cool exciting food adventure that you aren't going to get many places and certainly very few in Columbus. We had the Midwest Tasting Menu. 11 courses? Something like that. It was expensive, but I don't even mind it. We loved the "Health Sodas" that were curated by the bartenders. My wife had a coconut, lime, and guava concoction and I had some else that was sweet and fruity and tart. The first few bites of pani puri with spiced ginger and then the "happy meal" and salad course really set the tone of a kitchen that puts out excellent dishes with balanced flavors. For me, the best bite of the night was the Thai noodle salad. It was just a perfect amount of spicy with lots of textures. Mine was served with tofu since I'm not a seafood lover and it was the best tofu preparation I've ever had. My wife's favorite was the "soup and salad" course which is hard to describe, but I agree that it was delicious. The low point of the evening's food for me was in the seafood course. My wife loved her actual seafood, but my vegetarian replacement was a miss. They served it with a piece of baby eggplant that was nearly raw; crunchy and practically inedible. I will forgive them, but I think that one needs to be rethought. The end of the meal had lots of little fun touches. The bill comes in a giant lego minifigure head. The restaurant provides a souvenir menu that lists all the dishes that were tried. There were some curated, store-bought candies for take away. All-in-all, it was just an excellent experience. Do yourself a favor and try it, but go hungry and maybe don't try to eat every bite of every dish so that you aren't hurting by the end of the night.
