This restaurant participates in FRAUD. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RECIPT BEFORE AND AFTER THEY PROCESS YOUR CARD Had a reservation for my brothers birthday. We walk in and it's not busy but we get seated and I had to ask for the birthday menu. It was an okayish dining experience. Food was okayish. My brother got the French toast shooters and when they came out it was clear that they had been sitting in the watery syrup, as they were cold and the bread was completely soggy. Now for the fraud: Our waitress brought the check out and it had said $48 which was fine. When I gave her my card, she processed everything, brought me back my receipt to sign, I noticed the ticket had then said $56. I went to the front to get an itemized receipt, and saw that she had charged for the free birthday item after the fact. She had to process a refund for the $56 and then give me my correct total which was $48. Which I then had to re-pay. I left a $10 cash tip after that but it's obvious the server didn't think we would tip or something and charged us for the free birthday item. Make sure you check both receipts when you get them. I called and left a voicemail, along with a call back number and got nothing so I'm sure the restaurant is in on it too. THIS RESTAURANT WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE FREE BIRTHDAY ITEM AND POCKET THE MONEY IF YOU DONT CATCH THEIR MISTAKE!

Highly recommend the mosatree and the chambong, both were delicious and so much fun. The BEST service in the valley. Stacy was our server and we couldn't have had a better experience. The food was so good with generous portion.

Me and my husband wanted to try something new and when we went inside and started to see the restaurant inside we noticed some similarities of and other places (Blue Bench Brunchette) we have been that is my husband's favorite. So my husband asked the host if they were similar to it, and she said that they are the same thing with the same menu. He was happy because he loved it. We got sitted, and since we are familiar with the menu, he knew what to order. I went with the French toast it's my favorite. The mini waffles I order to go for my teen daughter. The service was good the food was good.

I love how cozy and cute Huck House is. I love how there are so many options for mimosas too! The food was good but kind of bland and wasn't anything special, however I would come back to try something else off of the menu. They have options for everyone whether you like sweet or savory. Our server was friendly and took great care of us.

Permanently closed as of 9/22/20×4. Pic of letter taped to front door. Too bad, this was a unique place with great upscale versions of many classics.

Buyer beware, hidden and random pricing, check your tickets and ask pricing questions. (If you want the long version, please read below.) Before I get into it, I will start with the positive(ish). Food is ok, not sure it is worth the extremely expensive price tag but worth a try for the creative ingredients on some of the dishes. No matter, expect a big bill no matter what you order. Mimosa flavors are fun and unique. You can expect edible glitter, flowers, and original combinations. Servers are friendly enough. Now, not the super good experience. It was all fun and light hearted until we got our bills. Initially when I asked about adding a slice of french toast to my meal, the server wasn't too clear in the price. On the menu is says "+$3.99". When I asked she said it would be less probably around $2.50. When my friends at the table heard adding a french toast on the meal was actually pretty affordable they said, "oh my gosh, we want to add it on too." Cool, my baby french toast side comes to the table, my friends too, and my third friend's waffle (the smallest waffle ever.. think about the size of a half dollar). Yayee, they are yummy. When our bills arrived, we noticed my baby french toast was actually $5.69, my other friend's french toast was $7 something AND my friend that got the waffle.... 7 something for the smallest waffle in the world!!! Like smallest! It took us off guard because our server told us it would be around $2.50 and/or the menu price because it was...well.... what we were told. When we asked because we felt they rung it up wrong, she got dismissive and said that is the price and got super defensive, and walked away. The money wasn't the issue it was the sneaky menu pricing, the misguidance, and the dismissive response when we asked about the pricing. While I was content just paying, leaving, and never returning, my friend went to just point out to the general manger/manager lady that the pricing on the menu didn't match the prices on our check and what we were being told by our server. The reason for two stars and not one is in the end the general manger/manager gave a few dollars back to my friends but it all seemed a bit shady/deceitful and when asked to remedy it, the resistance was overpowering and shouldn't have been that hard to just get the price we were told and/or the prices that were listed in the menu.

After being ignored for five minutes when we walked in, likely because of how busy they were, we had another couple cut in front of us before we were finally brought to a table in a loud corner. After asking the hostess if there was a booth, we were given the most annoyed look followed by an audible huff as we were led to a spot ten feet away, immediately next to a group of even louder 20-something's. Not a good start to set the tone for brunch, fortunately, our server (Sarah) was much more friendly and provided great service throughout our meal. We looked at the menu, filled with items like mimosa flights and a Belgian syphon coffee brewer for the table, this place is a very instagramable diner. Well, it would be if they could live up to their menu items. The syphon coffee set wasn't available because they were out of lighter fluid, so I went with drip coffee instead. My wife had the fresh squeezed OJ, which was fantastic. Out can the food. My wife's Benedict was fantastic, the ham was thin sliced but cooked well, and all of our poached eggs were flawlessly executed. The hollandaise sauce is much better than a lot of places we've had around town. I went for a different take on a Benedict, the Cafe Euro, which had prosciutto and a croissant with a béchamel sauce. I think the prosciutto is good in concept, but was MUCH saltier than I was prepared for. After trying both I would have preferred the ham on the croissants, i it didn't stop us from finishing our plates. All in all, the food was good, decent sized portions, maybe a little overpriced. It's definitely a place to bring a group of friends to have an experience, although I'm not sure how long it will be before we return.

We stopped in for a Saturday brunch and were thoroughly disappointed. After waiting for 20 minutes by ourselves in the lobby we were seated at a table with a sticky surface. We ordered a Bloody Mary and an orange juice. We split the Chicken fried steak with potatoes and toast. At this point, roughly 12:30 pm, the restaurant was starting to thin out from the breakfast rush. Unfortunately when we received our meals, it was cold and congealed. The gravy on the steak was turning into a dusty brown jello and the eggs were stone cold. Our waiter Ian asked if everything was great? I said no, the food is all cold. He said oh, should I have they make it again? I said no, why would I roll the dice again for another cold showing from the kitchen. Then he said, how about something to go? I again said no, we're out in a Saturday shopping and doing errands, I don't want a Togo order stinking up my vehicle all day with more jello gravy. My wife couldn't even get near the icy eggs or the cold breaded steak and gravy mess. We finished our drinks and bailed out fast. They did take 50% off the ticket but hardly right when we bailed on most of the meal. Please examine the photos provided to fully appreciate the congealed gravy they expected us to consume. Again, I can't understand or accept how this sat and got so cold when the kitchen was 15 steps from our sticky top booth. Our advice, bypass this food service training center, and ALWAYS go to the Griddle off Eagle Road. Great food, service and no arctic brunch to screw up your Saturday. Cheers!

I've been coming to visit family in Idaho for a very long time. We finally got around to trying this brunch spot after discovering it on social media. It did not disappoint! We shared the mimosa tree and was in awe when it was placed in front of us. I was expecting small sized glasses and they were big glasses and full of different flavored mimosas. The food was big portions and delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Two enterprising young women are owners of this gem of a popular West Bench neighborhood gathering…read morespot that they created in what was an old dump of a 1950's era strip mall space and funded in part with crowd sourcing. Being curious since they opened this in Fall'ish 2024 and finding myself in the neighborhood, this was a destination stop for my husband and me when we went in about 11:30 on a weekday for coffee and a nosh. Pride of ownership shines in the clean and funky feeling interior and it is clearly popular because it was full, almost every seat, of people that seemed from the neighborhood, including a number of parents with young children. They advertise this as coffee and market, but I honestly didn't notice the market part, in that things for sale didn't jump out at me. That may have been because I was just trying to navigate to a seat in and out in the crowded space. THE MO: Coffee and the limited menu for food is ordered at the counter, carry to your seat and bus your own when finished. Although we were the only people at the counter and there were two people in the kitchen, it took quite some time for someone to come to take the order, although once someone finally saw us, they were pleasant, if not welcoming, in taking the coffee order and then again when my hubby went back to order pastries to go with it. MENU: Coffee, other beverages and a very small option of eats is listed behind the counter and on a paper menu there. Options included soup of the day and Gaston's bakery pastries. There were some breakfast sandwiches by local provider Poppyseed Bakery in the fridge section, we weren't told about them but seeing them when passing by the fridge on a trip to the loo, asked if they could be heated and were told they could be. We chose a couple of pastries ($5.50 each) and were reminded why we seldom buy Gaston's products for being too buttery and one note. The cortado ($4) were good. I noticed a woman at the table across from us who was sipping a beverage and eating what looked like a sandwich she had carried in. I don't know if that is part of allowable stuff or not. The pottery used for all of their coffee service, ours and the mugs at other tables, is great. AMBIANCE: They did an admirable job here of making this light and bright and just funky enough with pride of ownership and loving care in maintenance sparkling through. Seating includes a few level in, not step up, booths along one wall, a sofa and chairs near the front and many standard height tables and chairs (maybe too many when all full as getting to seat is tough) and a play area for kids in the corner. It had far less comfortable 'breathing room' space than I anticipated from photos. But I didn't take interior photos to post because I think it is rude to do that when lots of people are going to be in them who maybe don't want to be. ;-) LOO: There are two and both are uni and sparkling clean with great murals on the wall and good plumbing fixtures. My husband even pointed out the "cool" sink. Both are ADA compliant so kudos to them for that. (Yes, it is law and code but you'd be astounded by how many ignore both.) ACCESSIBILITY: One ADA parking spot right outside the door. (There are too few spots for the parking lot but that is not the coffee shop owners' failure. That is the lot owner's issue.) Level in the door. All on one floor. The tables would probably work for a wheelchair user to roll under. But it would be near impossible, based on my experience yesterday (I have had multiple sclerosis since age 20 and sometimes use a wheelchair) for a wheelchair user to get between tables and chairs for a clear path of travel to get to seating or the loo.

I remember they have baked goodies that my husband would be interested in. He's doesn't like all the frilly stuff, just the good ol classics and Eagle Coffee has plenty of that! We came in around 12:30. It was pretty chill. A few guests outside enjoying the September weather and a couple guests inside. We checked out the food cases and found what we wanted. In my last review I had the keto quiche. It was a little overwhelming for me. The Mediterranean quiche was suggested so of course I had to try it. And it looked good in the food case. We were instantly greeted by a bunch a happy faces. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant for my husband. My Mediterranean quiche was ordered. I snagged a small iced cinnamon honey dirty chai with almond milk and a huckleberry lemonade for the husband. I believe everything we got is going to be so good! The ham and cheese croissant looked mighty tasty! It was nicely heated. You can tell it was nice and hot cause the ham and cheese was starting to slide out of the croissant. Husband smashed the whole thing and I wasn't even offered a bite. My quiche had beautiful pieces of zucchini and cheese on top. I really enjoyed the sun dried tomatoes in it. The filling was fluffy and soft. It was a great suggestion from the manager! I might have them heat it up just a hair longer next time, it could have been warmer. The huckleberry lemonade was killer!! It was tart, sweet and bubbly. I was only allowed one sip and I made sure it was big! My first round of chai did not look like normal and it didn't taste good. It was so dark and bitter. I did ask the barista if there was chai in my drink cause it didn't taste like chai. After we got it figured out, a new drink was made. My first one was not what I had ordered, I don't know what it was. My second round was almost perfect. The honey cinnamon chai was so good! It was sweet and spicy. I love the added cinnamon in there. It tastes like it should be cold and holiday season outside. I did pay for a shot of espresso to make it dirty which I never got. It was almost a cup of perfection. I really enjoyed our little coffee date here today. The food was good. Our drinks were tasty. The staff was nice. And it's conveniently down the road from us. I'm happy we stopped in today for our Sunday goodies. I look forward to another round of food and drinks from this joint.

The quiche Lorraine is also legitimately excellent with a buttery crust, and they usually have a surprisingly good variety of gluten-free baked goods too. One thing I oddly appreciate: no music and no giant café chaos. Also no plugs, so this isn't the place to camp for 6 hours on a laptop. But if I need a quiet spot to answer emails or get 1-1.5 hours of work done without distraction, this is actually one of my favorite places to go.
