This restaurant participates in FRAUD. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RECIPT BEFORE AND AFTER THEY PROCESS YOUR CARD Had a reservation for my brothers birthday. We walk in and it's not busy but we get seated and I had to ask for the birthday menu. It was an okayish dining experience. Food was okayish. My brother got the French toast shooters and when they came out it was clear that they had been sitting in the watery syrup, as they were cold and the bread was completely soggy. Now for the fraud: Our waitress brought the check out and it had said $48 which was fine. When I gave her my card, she processed everything, brought me back my receipt to sign, I noticed the ticket had then said $56. I went to the front to get an itemized receipt, and saw that she had charged for the free birthday item after the fact. She had to process a refund for the $56 and then give me my correct total which was $48. Which I then had to re-pay. I left a $10 cash tip after that but it's obvious the server didn't think we would tip or something and charged us for the free birthday item. Make sure you check both receipts when you get them. I called and left a voicemail, along with a call back number and got nothing so I'm sure the restaurant is in on it too. THIS RESTAURANT WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE FREE BIRTHDAY ITEM AND POCKET THE MONEY IF YOU DONT CATCH THEIR MISTAKE!

Highly recommend the mosatree and the chambong, both were delicious and so much fun. The BEST service in the valley. Stacy was our server and we couldn't have had a better experience. The food was so good with generous portion.

Me and my husband wanted to try something new and when we went inside and started to see the restaurant inside we noticed some similarities of and other places (Blue Bench Brunchette) we have been that is my husband's favorite. So my husband asked the host if they were similar to it, and she said that they are the same thing with the same menu. He was happy because he loved it. We got sitted, and since we are familiar with the menu, he knew what to order. I went with the French toast it's my favorite. The mini waffles I order to go for my teen daughter. The service was good the food was good.

I love how cozy and cute Huck House is. I love how there are so many options for mimosas too! The food was good but kind of bland and wasn't anything special, however I would come back to try something else off of the menu. They have options for everyone whether you like sweet or savory. Our server was friendly and took great care of us.

Buyer beware, hidden and random pricing, check your tickets and ask pricing questions. (If you want the long version, please read below.) Before I get into it, I will start with the positive(ish). Food is ok, not sure it is worth the extremely expensive price tag but worth a try for the creative ingredients on some of the dishes. No matter, expect a big bill no matter what you order. Mimosa flavors are fun and unique. You can expect edible glitter, flowers, and original combinations. Servers are friendly enough. Now, not the super good experience. It was all fun and light hearted until we got our bills. Initially when I asked about adding a slice of french toast to my meal, the server wasn't too clear in the price. On the menu is says "+$3.99". When I asked she said it would be less probably around $2.50. When my friends at the table heard adding a french toast on the meal was actually pretty affordable they said, "oh my gosh, we want to add it on too." Cool, my baby french toast side comes to the table, my friends too, and my third friend's waffle (the smallest waffle ever.. think about the size of a half dollar). Yayee, they are yummy. When our bills arrived, we noticed my baby french toast was actually $5.69, my other friend's french toast was $7 something AND my friend that got the waffle.... 7 something for the smallest waffle in the world!!! Like smallest! It took us off guard because our server told us it would be around $2.50 and/or the menu price because it was...well.... what we were told. When we asked because we felt they rung it up wrong, she got dismissive and said that is the price and got super defensive, and walked away. The money wasn't the issue it was the sneaky menu pricing, the misguidance, and the dismissive response when we asked about the pricing. While I was content just paying, leaving, and never returning, my friend went to just point out to the general manger/manager lady that the pricing on the menu didn't match the prices on our check and what we were being told by our server. The reason for two stars and not one is in the end the general manger/manager gave a few dollars back to my friends but it all seemed a bit shady/deceitful and when asked to remedy it, the resistance was overpowering and shouldn't have been that hard to just get the price we were told and/or the prices that were listed in the menu.

Permanently closed as of 9/22/20×4. Pic of letter taped to front door. Too bad, this was a unique place with great upscale versions of many classics.

After being ignored for five minutes when we walked in, likely because of how busy they were, we had another couple cut in front of us before we were finally brought to a table in a loud corner. After asking the hostess if there was a booth, we were given the most annoyed look followed by an audible huff as we were led to a spot ten feet away, immediately next to a group of even louder 20-something's. Not a good start to set the tone for brunch, fortunately, our server (Sarah) was much more friendly and provided great service throughout our meal. We looked at the menu, filled with items like mimosa flights and a Belgian syphon coffee brewer for the table, this place is a very instagramable diner. Well, it would be if they could live up to their menu items. The syphon coffee set wasn't available because they were out of lighter fluid, so I went with drip coffee instead. My wife had the fresh squeezed OJ, which was fantastic. Out can the food. My wife's Benedict was fantastic, the ham was thin sliced but cooked well, and all of our poached eggs were flawlessly executed. The hollandaise sauce is much better than a lot of places we've had around town. I went for a different take on a Benedict, the Cafe Euro, which had prosciutto and a croissant with a béchamel sauce. I think the prosciutto is good in concept, but was MUCH saltier than I was prepared for. After trying both I would have preferred the ham on the croissants, i it didn't stop us from finishing our plates. All in all, the food was good, decent sized portions, maybe a little overpriced. It's definitely a place to bring a group of friends to have an experience, although I'm not sure how long it will be before we return.

We stopped in for a Saturday brunch and were thoroughly disappointed. After waiting for 20 minutes by ourselves in the lobby we were seated at a table with a sticky surface. We ordered a Bloody Mary and an orange juice. We split the Chicken fried steak with potatoes and toast. At this point, roughly 12:30 pm, the restaurant was starting to thin out from the breakfast rush. Unfortunately when we received our meals, it was cold and congealed. The gravy on the steak was turning into a dusty brown jello and the eggs were stone cold. Our waiter Ian asked if everything was great? I said no, the food is all cold. He said oh, should I have they make it again? I said no, why would I roll the dice again for another cold showing from the kitchen. Then he said, how about something to go? I again said no, we're out in a Saturday shopping and doing errands, I don't want a Togo order stinking up my vehicle all day with more jello gravy. My wife couldn't even get near the icy eggs or the cold breaded steak and gravy mess. We finished our drinks and bailed out fast. They did take 50% off the ticket but hardly right when we bailed on most of the meal. Please examine the photos provided to fully appreciate the congealed gravy they expected us to consume. Again, I can't understand or accept how this sat and got so cold when the kitchen was 15 steps from our sticky top booth. Our advice, bypass this food service training center, and ALWAYS go to the Griddle off Eagle Road. Great food, service and no arctic brunch to screw up your Saturday. Cheers!

Such a cute place for brunch and getting together with friends. The food is amazing! Reservations recommended - it's worth the visit!

Food was well served. Me and my girlfriend got a Boise Own Omelette with potatoes as a side and I got the Cinnamon Roll Bread pudding as a side while she got the huckleberry muffin. The pudding was scrumptious and the muffin was 10/10. The

I've been coming to visit family in Idaho for a very long time. We finally got around to trying this brunch spot after discovering it on social media. It did not disappoint! We shared the mimosa tree and was in awe when it was placed in front of us. I was expecting small sized glasses and they were big glasses and full of different flavored mimosas. The food was big portions and delicious. I can't wait to go back!

There always seem to be quite a few flying around, and sometimes you feel like you have to fight them for your food. LOL! I really wish they could find a way to get that under control because it definitely takes away from the dining experience. Other than that, we enjoy coming here. This place is phenomenal and seriously one of the best breakfast places in all of Idaho. I hesitate to say that because there can definitely be a wait because of its popularity, but facts are facts. My wife and I went to Moe Joe's for breakfast recently and man was it good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and was stunned at the amount of food. Where to start. The steak was incredibly tender and enormous. The homemade biscuit was flaky and perfectly baked. The sausage gravy was meaty and flavorful. And the crispy hashbrowns seemed to cover half the plate. Then there are the house-made jellies. Who does that and how can I get more! The service was prompt and friendly with a great wait staff that made everything easy. The vibe of the restaurant is "friendly neighborhood spot" and feels like home. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. These folks know how to do breakfast right and I cannot wait to go back.

I'd call ahead and get your name on the list as it's quite popular and lots of people eat here. So, we had a group of four. The chicken fried steak was very good with gravy and huge portion. Good luck finishing it. I had corned beef hash unlike any I've ever had. The corned beef as in thin strips with no fat and all taste and fresh. The pancake will most assuredly will be the biggest you've ever seen. It's fluffy and done just right! We went on a Friday. It appeared the place had more tables available around the lunch hour. (I mean, some of it is greasy and the syrup is gloopy and a bit nasty-- it's better if it's warm-- but overall the food is good). So before I tell you the BIG issue at Joe Momma's, let me first set the scene. JM's looks like a misty mountain cabin come to life. River rock and pinecone and foliage lanterns greet you as you walk up ... log walls and a massive stone fireplace whisper of times gone by as you enter, and hens adorn the dark wood walls. You could easily picture the Fellowship of the Ring sitting in a booth across from you. It's truly charming. So what's the problem with Joe Momma's? The music! It's AWFUL and completely bizarre given the atmosphere of the restaurant. But hey, if blasted mid-2000's Rihanna and Katy Perry songs on a loop (we counted more than 4) is your idea of a good time at 8:30am on a Saturday morning in a log cabin, then you'll love it. I have a feeling Samwise and Frodo would not though and neither did we. The music is loud, very loud. And sounds more like an LA radio station playing Pop's Top Hits from 19 years ago. Which would be okay, I guess, if the energy of the restaurant matched it-- you know, modern architecture, crisp lines, sleek furniture and color design-- think Snooze in Scottsdale, Az which is basically a breakfast night club. But alas, Joe Momma's is beloved because of the misty mountain feel. The upscale Cracker Barrel vibe. The charming, rustic beauty. And the abrasive, bad pop music ruins the whole thing. It's is truly so freaking weird! Maybe they could keep the Pop for the lunch rush, but PLEASE Joe Momma's, for the love of Frodo, leave breakfast alone and come up with a playlist that matches your beloved establishment!!

I recently found out that Blue Bench is under new management. Knowing that this joint has new owners, I was totally down to give it a shot. New management means new expectations and service. I was done doing labs at the hospital. I told my husband let's go get breakfast and we made our way in. I love love love how darling this venue is. It's bright, fun and girly. I adore the decor. It's a smaller venue so the space is cute and dainty. Even though it's a smaller venue, tables and booths are nicely spaced out. You're not on top of each order. I can imagine this place being crazy on the weekends so I'm happy we decided to try this place out on a Monday. It was chill. Our server got some coffee and apple juice started for us while we looked over the menu. Everything looked so good! For brunch my husband got the Brunch trio. He picked cinnamon roll French toast, a cinnamon roll and some eggs. I got the sunrise sampler with cinnamon roll French toast. I had to try a little bit of everything. I also snagged a side of country gravy for my potatoes. Food came out really fast and it all looked fantastic! The cinnamon roll French toast was so fragrant. My husband's cinnamon roll looked divine. And the sunrise sampler was all about business! It was hearty! If you ever eat here, the cinnamon roll French toast is a must! It's crispy on the outside topped with butter and cinnamon sugar dust. The inside is soft and warm. Killer good! I did take a bite of my husband's cinnamon roll. It was mehhh. But I think if it was served warm, it would have been that much better. It was cold, dry and stiff. The bacon and sausage on my plate were cooked perfectly! My eggs were great and the potatoes were tasty! I do wish that the country gravy was not lumpy. I couldn't get over the lumps in the gravy from it sitting. I had about a couple spoons of it and couldn't eat it. It looked esthetically displeasing. Breakfast was good. Aspen did a decent job taking care of us. The venue is super charming. But the cinnamon roll was cold and honestly tasted like it wasn't freshly baked. The country gravy was lumpy and not very hot. It sucked to pay for a side of it and not enjoy it. We got everything set up and just chilled till everyone showed up. I did forget the birthday candles I bought so I drove home to grab them. I missed the whole ordering process. I had my daughter order the pineapple hanger steak with no potatoes subbed for veggies for me. I left before they ordered and was only gone for about 25 minutes. My food had already been sitting for 10 minutes waiting for me before I got back. I was honestly surprised at how fast everything was prepared. I did enjoy my meal. It was really good. The hanger steak was tender and very savory. The shishito peppers were cooked and grilled perfectly. I got a total of 6 and only 1 of them was spicy, I'm ok with that! The asparagus was grilled to perfection. Not overly cooked but tender with a slight bite. The best way to have asparagus. I think this would have been a 5 star experience but this is where I'm so unhappy. I brought a cake in. I also brought in candles, a vintage cake plate and plates for us to eat the cake on. It was all planned out. Our server did not communicate with me at all about the cake once she pulled it out for me. One minute it was sitting in it's box on the servers table and the next minute there's a huge, tacky firework in it. Like, I had a pretty cake made with delicate candles to put in it to have this goofy firework in the middle of it. I didn't take one photo of the cake before she violated it with the stupid firework. If you plan on bringing in a cake that you don't want touch, tell your server. Food was great. The vibe was chill. But I will always have this stupid firework in the middle of my cake as a core memory of this joint.
