Honesty is one of the most important qualities in running a business. Tonight, Matt, the manager, told us that due to the delay in getting our table, he would provide a complimentary appetizer or soup. Later, when Emely, our server, brought the bill, the soup and my iced tea appeared to have been removed from the receipt. We appreciated the gesture and thanked them for the service. However, we did not receive a full printed receipt, so I scanned the QR code to view the final receipt online. That was when I discovered the total amount charged had not actually been reduced at all. The "removed" items were still effectively included in the final price. We were not expecting free items or discounts. The disappointing part was being told something was complimentary, seeing items appear removed, but ultimately still being charged the full amount. That felt very dishonest and left a bad impression after what had otherwise been a pleasant evening.

I loveee their French chicken, it's such a good portion too, fills you up perfectly! Their avocado dip is just guac but it's good and you get to eat it with potato chips! Server was nice, we made reservations for lunch because it gets really busy for lunch!

Visited this place on a weekend night & it was busy! Would recommend making a reservation. Our waiter was very good & gave recommendations for our drink & food orders. Everything came out very good!

It's a good burger but is it the BEST burger in DFW? No. Before I get to the burger, I want to talk about the pickle that comes with your order. I think that's just TOO MUCH pickle. They literally give you half of a giant cucumber! The burger was good. It's juicy and smothered in cheese. Kinda messy to eat. But in the end, it's still just a normal burger. And yes, there's also pickles in the burger as well. I did enjoy The Truffle Parm Fries. They're "skinny" fries so it's easier to eat; very flavorful and tasty. I sat at the bar and the service was friendly and good.

Been here several times for both professional and personal lunches. Every time is excellent. The ambiance is warm, comfortable, classy, and inviting. Service is fantastic - from host/hostess to servers. Reservations made each time (Open Table) and table ready when we arrived. Also celebrated birthdays here and they do a great job. Meal wise - chicken parm is ample and delicious, best fish tacos ever, fries are great, broccoli, clam chowder as well. I also tried one of the special riceless rolls which was delicious (I think it was called the surprise roll?) highly recommend this place.

Tried Hudson House for the first time during happy hour and it did not disappoint. The vibe was energetic on a Thursday afternoon. From the start, the service stood out. Our server was genuinely kind, patient, and walked us through the menu and options without rushing us. The food? Delicious across the board. * Hamachi truffle roll - fresh, lemony, but a little light on the truffle. * French chicken - tender with that rich burre blanc sauce but not as good as the fish. * Blackened redfish - seasoned beautifully with just the right amount of spice. Our favorite dish of the evening. * Frozen Bellini - light, refreshing, and ideal for happy hour. * Gold & Blue martini - smooth and well-crafted. * And yes... we grabbed a cheeseburger to go because we couldn't resist. For a first visit, Hudson House delivered. Great food, great drinks, great service. Already looking forward to going back.

Will 100% return. We visit Dallas numerous times a year and this will become a staple. Their happy hour is legit, we still ventured outside of the deals to try the signature roll and I can honestly say it is the best sushi roll I have ever had. I was stationed in Hawaii for 5 years and this roll topped any I had on the island. Service is quick and respectful, our dozen oysters were shucked directly in front of us as we sat at the bar to enjoy the 3 dollar oyster and half off martini happy hour. Located in an insanely busy shopping complex with multiple well respected restaurants. The inside screams of seafood and class, but the ambiance allows for a come as you are dining experience. If you're close enough to try this place you're doing yourself a disservice by not.

Loved how there was a spicy option for the salad, and our server was attentive despite it being a busier day. Perfect happy hour ambiance! Just wish the salad came with more dressing so we didn't have to constantly request more.

Hudson House is a popular seafood restaurant known for it's fresh selection of oysters and great Cheeseburger ($10 during Happy Hour). Heads up - this location may be a victim of its own success. My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Kudos to Hudson House for making the most of a small space. There is a full bar, a dedicated spot for oysters, and cozy booths that are comfortable and inviting. It's also always busy at lunch. You can now make reservations on OpenTable, so be sure you do so if timing is an issue. 1 Star. Service - While our servers are professional and fantastic, the hostess at the front needs help. During my lunch visit, there was a long line. Even though I arrived 5 min before my reservation (made on OpenTable). I had to wait. After about 10 minutes, I got back in line then another person skipped in front of me to talk to the hostess. I made a snarky comment and eventually I was seated. But it wasn't a good experience. 1/2 Star Food - While the menu is limited, it's very good. I started with the Dynamite Shrimp. The presentation of the dish was as great as the plump, juicy shrimp. If you're a fan of Asian flavors, you'll like this dish. And yes, I know Hudson House is a seafood restaurant, but they serve one of the best cheeseburgers in the city. I'll order this double patty burger even outside of Happy Hour because the patties are beefy, juicy, and the cheese is perfectly melty. The only downside is that Hudson House is not cheap. 1 Star. Will I Return? - I don't know. I'll probably come back, but only during Happy Hour or when it's not as crowded. There are multiple Hudson House locations throughout DFW so I won't let my experience with the hostess keep me from that cheeseburger. 1/2 Star.

We came here for my Moms Birthday and I would love to say the service was Memorable !! The Food and Ambiance was Amazing !! Service was Fast . We made a reservation & got sat in good timing for a table of 7. Everyone's food was great I forgot to take pictures of but I definitely got the star of the table which was delicious yumyyyy

Hudson House is one of my go to spots when I'm wanting great vibes and consistently great food no matter which location you go to. Service is always on point even when busy (give them grace especially when people pack out the bar area for Happy Hour times). My fav are the crispy tuna rice appetizer, love the oysters and how you can pick how many you want of each flavor instead of being stuck with half dozen in a flavor so 2 types per dozen, and their dynamite shrimp are flavorful too. The French chicken was yummy! Not sure how the flavors would meld together being Cajun don't French type of sauce but it worked!

I went here for brunch with one of my longtime friends and we absolutely enjoyed the experience. It was a quiet but busy and full establishment, everyone was stressed nicely and the customer service was a 10 out of 10. The food was delicious. It came out quickly. We just couldn't eat everything and we took a lot of things to go. The lemon poppyseed pancakes were amazing, the French toast was amazing, the Pallini frozen drinks were just to die for I would definitely return. The building was also very beautiful, very clean and very well put together.

Brenden is an amazing server and Stephen is an amazing manager. This place is packed for a reason! The martinis and food were 100% on point and so delicious! Our server recommended the bang bang shrimp and it has great flavor! I will 100% be back to this location!

It was SOOOO LOUD though. just so many people and loud. Hard to have a conversation. Got the crab cake salad ($34). The crab cake itself was legit. The salad part was an interesting set up since they just had the crab cake on the side and then the salad on the side. I really liked it! Tried one of the sushi rolls and it was interesting that they added some olive oil and citrus?? when it wasn't specified on the menu at all.. I liked the roll though. It will run you $20+ for one. It's big but I also feel like you would need to order a side if you wanted to make that your main entree. And paying for 2 sushi rolls at that price point is steep. The lobster roll looked good? very saucy though. A lot of the stuff on the menu is market price like the filet, risotto etc.

I continue to be impressed by the service and the food. And when you combine this with the beautiful spring weather in Texas (March), it's one of the best experiences in all of DFW. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - If you haven't been to Water Street, go now while the weather is nice (March or October). I'm writing this review in March when the Texas weather is beautiful. While the inside of Pacific Table is elegant with blue booths and white tablecloths, the outdoor seating next to Lake Carolyn creates a view that's almost impossible to find in DFW: fine dining by the water. 1 Star. Service - The service is great. Our server was attentive, helpful, and best of all shared the special of the day. I always ask my server because when they recommend an excellent dish, it means the restaurant puts in the effort to enable them. Mission accomplished. 1 Star. Food - I went with Pacific Table's special of the day: blackened redfish with creole sauce and a vegetable. WOW. This dish was a homerun. The fish was tender, well-seasoned, and the sauce added a creamy component that reminded me of the bayou. As a bonus, my sauteed spinach that I chose as my side was equally delicious. If I wasn't dining in public, I would have licked my plate. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Every time I eat at Pacific Table, I try something new and am pleasantly surprised. The combination of service, specials, and amazing Texas spring weather makes this a repeatable restaurant in my rotation. 1 Star.

For sides, I chose the mac and cheese, cornbread, tallow fries, and Brussels sprouts. This is the kind of meal you remember for a while. The Wagyu tomahawk ribeye was the star of the table. Tender, flavorful, and packed with that rich beefy taste you'd expect from a steak of that caliber. The garlic stuffed filet was incredibly tender and added another layer of flavor, while the New York strip had a great texture and a perfect mesquite grilled finish. The Gulf shrimp were cooked well and added a nice contrast to all the steak. Smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were excellent across the board. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the cornbread was warm and comforting, the tallow fries were crispy and addictive, and the Brussels sprouts provided a nice balance to the feast. The restaurant itself has a true Texas atmosphere with a rustic upscale feel. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special. This wasn't just dinner. Clearly a popular spot. We shared an appetizer, a steak, sides, and a dessert between us 3. - Fried Tomatoes (appetizer): not bad! Light, not greasy at all, and that savory sauce on top was yummy: - Wagyu Tomahawk: the star of the show. Loved the peppered crust which was full of flavor. Not a true "Japanese wagyu" texture, but still an excellent steak overall. - Sides (mashed potatoes, fries, broccolini, cornbread): All pretty good across the board. I liked the cornbread the most and wished there was more of it. Usually a side of cornbread is much more substantial and comes with honey butter. - Steak sauce: we ask for a side of this. Whatever they had was unique and great. Fruity and tangy, a great complement to the tomahawk. - Pecan Pie: look at the photo! A huge, tall slice. No notes. Loved the dense ice cream on top. Perfect way to end the meal. Overall: no critiques, just an all-around great dinner. Definitely recommend the tomahawk and pie.
