Hugo's was great from start to finish. Recommend a reservation. Service was good, quality of food was very good too. I had the sea bass & it was delicious! Great spot for a date or special event, located in the Four Queens hotel.
This place was sooo cute it gave very old school vibes and service was great. The steak was really good and they made the salad table side. I loved the little pallet cleanse they gave before desert. I would deff come back I had a really good time here.
I first came here over 20 years ago after I asked a Las Vegas salesman where to go for the best food in Downtown Las Vegas and Hugo's Cellar has been my go-to Downtown ever since. It has evolved from the dark restaurant with booths behind thick red velvet curtains but it still carries the vibes of the rat pack and mob deals being made over martinis and steaks. So, where to start? With the entrance, hidden behind the tables in the Four Queens and down a a dark flight of stairs. You'll see the bar -- a great place to hide and have a fantastic drink in a quiet space -- and the host stand where all the ladies in the party will receive a long-stemmed rose. Can others in your party also receive a rose? Yes, but you have to ask. The menu is classic steakhouse: steaks, chops, fish, with all the entrees around the $100-$120 mark. What makes Hugo's a better deal compared with the strip steakhouses is you're buying a complete meal. That steak comes with a salad prepared expertly by the waiter at your command, sides, a bread and butter service, bottled water, and even a light dessert of chocolate-dipped fruit. If you're truly hungry, add on some delicious lobster bisque or a dessert at the end of the meal. That chocolate cake and the cobbler are pretty delicious. Cocktails are a must with this old-school Vegas vibe and you'll receive a hearty pour and an expert touch, never fear. Stick with the classics and you can't go wrong. A dirty martini with blue cheese olives is my go-to, with an Old Fashioned running a close second. The wine list is extensive and there is a full-time sommelier who has been working there for over 40 years. Prices are high, but less markup than you'll find on the Strip. The service is spot-on, practiced, and professional with most of the waitstaff working in the restaurant for many years. Are they still wearing the old-style Vegas tuxedos? You know it. I have brought many people to Hugo's Cellar over the years -- and recommended it to many more -- and I can't recall anyone ever being disappointed in the experience.
The bread was mediocre. The steaks were cooked perfectly but overall nothing above the norm from other steakhouses in the area especially for the insane cost compared to other places. The lobster bisque was fantastic with huge chunks of lobster. Crab cake had a ton of crab in it. The inside was very classy and fancy. The service was top notch, but some of them clearly had some character they were trying to keep up. If you're not fully invested or ready for it, then it can get very grading very quickly. This pains me to write this review. We have always been and still are Hugo Cellar fans. Not sure what happened, but they just were not on their a game. Just so you know we were probably the fourth guest sat when they opened. So they hadn't been open very long. When we were sad, our server was very friendly. Welcome us and like always they handed me a rose to provide to my wife. Then they sad us. They asked if we wanted something to drink very quickly and while we were looking at the menu, they brought out what they called fresh hot bread. This is probably our 20th time over 30 years having gone to Hugo Cellar. I know when they set it on the table they wanna reinforce that it's fresh that it's hot and it's great bread. Unfortunately this was none of the above. The bread was not hot, it is like a crisp bread that's supposed to have like a cheese type flavoring along with paprika. This was cold, hard crisp bread that was loaded only with paprika. Every other time we have been here we have asked for more bread. This time we each barely finished a piece that we split. The bread was lackluster. It came time to place the order. They started with the traditional table salad. Of course they start with the ladies first and the guy really isn't listening to him. He's telling each thing that's in the bowl. She says no Parmesan cheese and he puts it on anyway and he hands the plate and she goes I didn't want Parmesan cheese. He goes. Oh yes you did. You said you did, we aren't confrontational people so she took it. He didn't push back. I ordered my salad. My wife went and picked off as much as the Parmesan as she could. The salads were fresh. They were tasty. She ordered the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. The green beans were outstanding. I ordered the ribeye with cheese on top and it was out of this world. The green beans were also great. All that we can talk about all dinner was having dessert afterwards and they're amazing Kona coffee We finish dinner they come out OK remember, we were the fourth family to be seated that night. He comes to the table. What would you like for dessert? I say we'll both start with Kona coffee and we'll get. Oh I'm sorry. We're all out of Kona coffee. You're out of Kona coffee you just opened. Oh, we ran out yesterday. This is Las Vegas. If you ran out the day before, you could easily go and get it somewhere in that amazing city. So we said OK thank you we did not order dessert and we didn't get Kona coffee. So the basic steaks were great and for the most part, the servers were polite, but did it surpass expectations like it normally does and provide that wow factor not this time. We'll have to think hard more back in Vegas than a couple months for another concert. Do we give Hugo another chance or do we try one of the steakhouses that we hear about but have never tried before. Will let you know when that happens.
I had a really great dinner at Hugo's Cellar. The food was excellent overall -- the tableside salad was fresh and fun, and the steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Service and atmosphere felt classic Vegas in the best way. The only miss of the night was the Old Fashioned. It was honestly one of the worst I've had extremely strong and lacking balanced flavor. It's a shame because without that drink, this would easily have been a 5-star experience. I'd absolutely come back again, just skipping the cocktails next time.
What a nice and memorable dining experience at Hugo's located inside the 4 Queens at downtown Fremont st! The service was excellent and the table side prep dishes were amazing! The decor reminded you of a "Rat pack" theme that time forgot and the red brick walls gave the restaurant an even more old school but classic look. Cheers!
Came here with some family who's been here before and mentioned this place being one of their favorite places. For me it was my first time & was immediately impressed once we started walking down the stairs into the restaurant. Upon entering the ladies were given a rose which was a nice touch. The restaurant itself is very nice and romantic setting. The food was phenomenal l. We got the artichoke dip and added king crab which, extremely flavorful dip!! Also the table bread and butter was very good. The he table side salad you basically select everything you want was a hit. Also very much enjoyed the little raspberry sorbet palette cleanser they give before your entree, haven't been to a restaurant that does that but I loved it. I got the petite surf and turf which was perfect for me. Everything was delicious and would definitely go back! Definitely on the pricier side but well worth it
The service is impeccable! Everyone was friendly, helpful, attentive but not overbearing. The ladies start off the night with a and we were quickly served our starters that were part of the entire meal. We were asked what wanted to drink first and had various wait staff who all specific duties and did them well and with pride. I got a filet minion, I think the middle was cooked to perfection, maybe the outer edge was over done but the flavor was good, the mushroom risotto was flavorful and cheesy (could have been hotter for my taste), and that nights carrots and green beans were a nice pairing. The side table salad was fun and had options for toppings that were not on my standard salad list and they were fantastic (looking at you pine nuts!). We didn't have room for the fantastic looking deserts but did partake in the fig, jam, chocolate covered strawberries and creme that came with our meal. Be ready for low lightening and low ceiling -all to be expected. I appreciated the low volume as it leant itself to table conversation without having to yell. Was into the experience and only snapped one photo!
Hugo's Cellar was recommended by a co-worker so we first walked in after having dinner already and were greeted by the friendly bartender. We were pleased with was a we saw and decided to make a reservation for the next evening, Thursday! On Thursday, we arrived and were immediately seated in a booth that was separated by plexiglass from the booths on each side of us. I don't know if the plexiglass helped or hurt the acoustics because we could hear entire conversations at tables all the way across the room. To start off the service was beyond compare! We always had numerous staff taking care of our table whether it was bringing food, clearing plates, refreshing drinks...it just didn't stop! Every server was very pleasant and attentative. Often restaurants of this caliber offer a menu of only al a carte items from main entree to having to order each of your side dishes but that was not the case at Hugo's Cellar. Your entree comes with table side prepared salad...and not just any salad..., sorbet to cleanse your palate, selection of starch with your entree and fresh vegetables. My husband chose the rack of lamb and I ordered the pork loin without any sauce as I don't like sauces on my food. My husband's rack of lamb was something we have never seen served in a restaurant of this quality before. It was carved table-side and the size could have easily fed 2 or 3 people. He loved his meal. Mine on the other hand was a different story. My pork loin was extremely dry and I really tried to eat it but I guess the mistake was ordering it without the sause. When the server came by she noticed I stopped eating and I told her it was just too dry and asked if it was possible to get a chicken breast with so sauce since the chicken on the menu had sauce or gravy and she happily agreed. Unfortunately, chicken wasn't any more moist and so I left that on my plate as well but I enjoyed everything else which is the reason for my rating. Our meal was finished off with chocolate covered strawberries...a regular offering after every dinner. While my entree was a disappointment, everything else was wonderfule and we plan to return and I will be ordering the rack of lamb!
Outstanding service and experience. We came across Hugos Cellar by accident, walking off a dinner from Oscars, and booked a table for the next night. Hugos Cellar is nestled on a lower part of the Four Queens Hotel and Casino, getting to the restaurant is via a few stairs down or an elevator. Upon checking in and being walked to your table, each lady in your party gets an amazing long stem rose, which has its own vase on the table. Upon paying the bill, the rose is wrapped in foil to take it home. The food experience at Hugos has a unique set of included items. Firstly a wonderful selection of bread, crackers, butters, salts etc are promptly brought over when you are seated Each meal includes a table side custom salad bar experience, a pallet cleansing gelato and a wonderfully displayed chocolate covered strawberries and heavy cream dessert. Entres also include two sides, making this fantastic experience very affordable We booked the table for our 10th anniversary and on our table was a handwritten signed congratulatory card. I had ordered the rack of lamb, which ive had at many other places... there was so much lamb! I was not expecting a whole rack of 6 bones and a tremendous amount of wonderfully cooked tender lamb. Service was impeccable, everyone works as a team and we could see a few of the servers standing by the walls, attentively looking for empty plates to remove or water glasses emptying to fill... you never had to wait for any server to ask for something, they are constantly reacting to you. My wife ordered the pork loin, but without any sauces and gravy, unfortunately that was pretty dry and our server quickly saw this and offered her another dish of her choice with no fuss. We'll be back here for sure, the food, service, ambience, value and experience was a lot better than we had experienced that week at Oscars, Eiffle tower and Havana.
Las Vegas done right. Our Anniversary dinner at Hugos was a great place to celebrate ! Service is 5-star ***** I really like all-in pricing of entree. Includes bread/butter plate, a fun Table side hand-made custom salad and chocolate covered strawberries and mini sorbet pallet cleansing "ice cream cones " So cool and classy .. from a Rose for the ladies as you enter to hot towels at the end. Hugo's Cellar inside of the 4 Queens hotel and casino is truly a one of a kind, old school Vegas steakhouse! Born and raised in Vegas I've been to more steakhouses than I can count, and this is truly one of the best that still does it old-school style! The service is unmatched from the moment you walk in you feel like you are the one and only VIP in the room. Every lady is given a beautiful long stem red rose upon arrival then you are sat at your table with a team of servers that are literally top notch! Every single thing from the craft cocktails, table-side salad, outstanding steaks, and sides to the espresso and dessert was unbelievably perfect! If you have not been to Hugo's get there! This place is perfect for a celebration of any kind and top notch for a romantic date!

I went to Hugo's for my anniversary because I kept hearing great things about it. I was extremely disappointed. I made a reservation, we showed up 5 minutes early and they told us they were running behind...we waited 37 minutes. So one offered if we wanted a drink while we waited as the bar was full. We got a steak and the pasta and for the steak being $100 I would expect it to be the best thing I had and it was lacking. The pasta wasn't great. I took it home for left overs the next day and ended up tossing it because it wasn't good. I ordered an old fashion which looked more like a sangria with its multiple ice cubes in it. This was the first time at Hugo's and the waiter didn't asked if we were celebrating anything, nor did he ask if he had questions or if it was our first time here. We ended up having a Second Lady help us who was good but if you're going to charge more than Herbs and Rye, clevers, etc it should be a really great meal and it wasn't. You get butter, salt, bread with the meal which lacked flavor (it makes sense they gave you salt to try to make it more flavorful). Definitely a must try. The restaurant is located at the Four Queens casino in Downtown Vegas. Once inside the casino, take the stairs or elevator down a floor. The restaurant is elegant with a vintage ambiance. Women are given a red rose that they will put in a vase at your table. Service is impeccable. Your waiters are all wearing tuxedo uniforms. I suggest you order the Table Side Salad A La Carte. It is extra but they make your salad the way you want it right at your table. After my salad, I was surprised with a raspberry sorbet on a cone to "cleanse my palate". The menu includes more than just steak. I ordered the New York Strip which was cooked to my request. Once I was done with the steak, my husband and I were given two huge chocolate covered strawberries "to cleanse your palate for dessert". A waiter came by our table with a tray of desserts but we ordered the banana foster that the waiter makes right at your table and flames it. Awesome presentation. I have tried many steak places in Vegas from modern to vintage and Hugo's Cellar rates up there at the top. read more

Ambiance is definitely old school Steak house. Getting the rose is a nice touch. The service was great. There are multiple people taking care of the table. Water glasses were never empty and people checking on us the entire time. The beef Wellington was very good. The sides were large portions and they split plates for us no issue. The crab legs were REALLY bad. They were so dried out. Very disappointing. 1 star deduction for the crab legs. The other star deduction because nothing really wowed me. It's a nice dinner place that I wouldn't recommend unless it was convenient. Being in vegas with so many options, I feel like their might be other better options. read more

We had a really wonderful time yesterday. This was my fourth time here. Our server Jeffrey was attentive and awesome. Eddie, who did that bananas foster, was great! Everybody was pretty friendly except for the older lady that did our salad. She told me about three times to make sure that she is not at any of my videos. I really enjoyed their salad that they prepare in front of you, and I really like the addition of artichoke hearts & pinenuts. The orange walnut vinaigrette was amazing. We did however think that the lobster was over priced at 120-140. Usually it's 70 to 85 which is better priced. The potatoes au gratin were really great. They charge extra for it but I think it's worth it. I really like the way they bring the lemon sorbet to cleanse your pallet. And, the complementary, chocolate strawberries & other dried fruit is great feature! read more

If I could give more stars, I would. This was an absolutely amazing dinner. Our service team was Carlos, Sergio and Ahmad. They all get a platinum rating for impeccable service. The attention to everything was outstanding. The food... oh my , the food. Started with the crab cake. We loved it, it was huge and we shared it. Next the table side salad was delicious. I had the pepper dressing and my husband had the Caesar. It was so good with the bread it could have been a meal in itself. He had the Beef Wellington said it was better than Hells Kitchen. My filet was one of the best I've ever had. Perfect cook, delicious crust on the exterior and the most tender meat ever. I couldn't eat it all and even when I took it home and reheated it, it was exquisite. My birthday treat was a molten lava cake. I'm not a sweets person and I gobbled up half. Also strawberries and other fruits. If you want to feel special, have an extraordinary meal with amazing service this is an absolute must. Thank you Hugo's , your the best of the best. read more

Excellent from the minute you walk in. Each lady gets a red rose and they have a vase at the table to keep it in while you dine. Service was fast and on point, super friendly and made you feel at home. Table side salad was the best, especially if you have a picky partner like mine. You can choose all the accoutrements. Took the hubs for an early birthday dinner (minus the kids) so figured I needed to go a little romantic. Hugo's has been on my list for what seems like years, and we finally had an opportunity to try. I made reservations a few days prior and we ended up going on a Tuesday evening. I love all the old school mobster vibes the restaurant gives and the fact all ladies receive a red rose upon entry. We asked for a booth and love how intimate they are. For dinner my husband and I both opted for the 10oz NY strip. I did not realize how much food you get with your meal. The table side salad is a great touch and love you get a few options for dressings and toppings as well. It is a giant portion. The steak also came with mashed potatoes and some veggies. They were to die for. Drink wise I had to try an espresso martini. I love the fact they give you a full martini then also a little side of it for refills. Service was impeccable and the food was divine. As well as all the good you receive they give complimentary chocolate covered strawberries. We will def be back for special occasions or even a date night out! read more

The fact Hugo's cellar doesn't have five stars is nonsense. Ignore any bad review about this place I came here for my anniversary for the first time the other week and fell in love. For two bottles on wine and some appetizers along with steaks for four people came out to about 600. Not cheap but I highly recommend to try it out maybe skip the alcohol to save on your bill! It's definitely an experience to eat here unlike your usual sit down spots. This has the old Vegas vibe which is awesome tucked inside the Fourqueens. The salad they make in front of your table was delicious. I don't like anchovies but on top of your salad it was fire. The service was top tier for the price point. This was by far the best restaurant I've ever dined in. From the very friendly host, to the sommelier, to the servers, everyone did an amazing job and really had attention to detail. The chairs were comfortable, the food delicious, and the drinks were tasty! Our drinks were always full of wine and water. The service was perfectly timed as well. This is definitely a Vegas classic that everyone should try at least once! As soon as you enter every last is given a rose I just love that! I love the table side salad that comes with every meal & made with all the toppings you can choose from! We've been here multiple times & love the steaks here! Tonight I got the rib eye cooked to a perfect medium rare! Couldn't even finish it! All the steaks come with a salad & a side so that's different from your usual steak places in Vegas where everything is a la carte. They even give you small cute little desserts at the end a few cookies & chocolate covered strawberries! The ambience is an old vegas vibe! Definitely recommend for a date night! read more

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a meal at Hugo's Cellar for my anniversary and wanted to write about it. This location right in the heart of 4 Queens and is the epitome of old Vegas vibes. The space is dark, warm and inviting with a touch of charm. We were welcomed by the host with a rose for my lady (lovely touch) and escorted to our table. First I will talk about the pros... The service was superb. All staff and supporting staff were friendly, courteous and helpful regarding the menu options. We were big fans of the table side salad made in front of us and the lemon sorbet pallet cleanser that followed, all excellent! Our food arrived (Duck and NY Strip) and they were delicious, especially for the price. Do not get me wrong this is a pricier establishment but the value of the food with the cost was totally fair. They had a broad menu and I'm sure we will enjoy the food here again in the future! Now just a few of the cons... Regarding the duck, it was tasty do not get me wrong, but could have used a bit more cook time to give the skin a little more char and less chew. Perhaps this is personal preference but still something we noticed. Also a majority of the chairs are NOT designed to keep you there very long. It is very clear this is not a lounge and chairs were lacking in overall comfort and support. And lastly (and I have seen this a lot) the bathroom is outside the actual restaurant and back in the casino. So whatever romantic illusions you had while in the cellar were brought immediately back to earth when trekking through the slots to the bathroom. Overall, delicious food, excellent service and and lovely touch of old Vegas we truly enjoyed. Thank you for the experience. read more

Last night we celebrated a birthday at Hugo's cellar. What an amazing experience. Steak price was very reasonable when you consider everything is included. Custom tableside salad, , bread, sides, and dessert. Outstanding experience. Wine sommelier, Jon Simmons was absolutely hilarious and really knows his stuff. Overall, every single person in that restaurant made sure we had an enjoyable evening. Definitely 10 of 10!!! read more

A MUST when in Vegas!!!!! So, I heard about this place through my friend, who visits Hugo's everytime she comes here. So i finally booked the reservations on our trip because we had extra time during our stay in Vegas. I booked for a thursday night, we were in Vegas celebrating my birthday and I wanted a beautiful sit down dinner. This restaurant is located in four queens in old vegas, parking was conveniently located and they validated parking for us! Upon arrival, I noticed how beautiful the restaurant was and how friendly the staff was right away. They even give you a rose at the beginning and have a vase for you to put it in on the table and they wrap the rose at the end for you to take. Lets get onto the good stuff - the food. So I ordered the 10oz NY steak and my husband got the 16oz NY steak - the price for this meal was VERY reasonable! You get the table side salad, which is SO fresh and delicious. The steak itself comes with seasonal veggies and your choice of potato or rice, the au gratin potatos are OUT of this world and the sauce they bring with the steak is delicious. OH and they bring 3 different kinds of bread in the beginning with butter thats shaped like a rose (LOVE) And at the end, you get 2 chocolate dipped strawberries, figs and apricots drizzled with chocolate and a fresh cream. Omg - it was killer. For my birthday, they brought out a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream, topped with a candle and a nice card signed by the servers. I will book Hugo's everytime I come to vegas. That steak was definitely one of the best steaks I've had. Service was amazing, everyone was so so attentive and sweet. read more

Food is so delicious! We ordered beef Wellington and the duck breast. Worth it. The bar tender was also really funny and welcoming, unlike the rest of the staff, hence the 2 stars. He also gives quite a generous pour. Please note the restroom is OUTSIDE the restaurant. The server and the man who tossed salad were rude and condescending. We noticed them being friendly with everyone but my partner and I. Very snappy, didn't want to serve us, and talked down to us. It was unfortunate as the food was delicious. If you're not old Caucasian people, then you'll probably get mediocre service. My partner was still generous enough to leave a good tip but wow, they're rude if they don't think you'll leave a good tip. I didn't even get to dessert due to having a medical emergency (I had half a shot and it caused my blood pressure to drop and I ended up fainting) but my experience overall was not good here. read more

While I'd read some bad reviews about Hugo's, our experience was exactly like it's always been - great. From the time we arrived until our bill was paid, there was very little to complain about. Our service was just fine, the martinis were perfect, the food was delicious and the ambiance was just as good as ever. OK, our 55 Club had changed to only 10% off our meals but that was it as far as complaints. read more

Every time we visit Vegas, we always make reservations to eat at Hugo's Cellar. It's a wonderful old-school steak house in the Four Queens Casino in downtown Las Vegas. It's right in the middle of the casino floor where you'll be walking down into their "cellar" using stairs or an elevator. Once you arrive, they give roses to the ladies of the party and sit you promptly. The service is stellar here. Every server is dressed up as if we were back in the 50s era. When it comes to the decor, it's dark and dimly lit, though you can still read the menu pretty well. It has a very nice vibe to it. As for the food, you MUST start with the table side salad. They've been doing this for decades. The server brings this entire cart full of toppings and ingredients and will create the best salad you've ever had. Top notch! This time around, I decided to go for the prime rib. There was a 16oz and 24oz. I asked the server what he'd recommend. He said he eats the 24oz all the time. Of course.. it's $95! Since I get mine cooked at medium, he said they grill it like a steak. As you can see from the photo attached, this was probably the biggest streak/prime rib I have ever eaten. Visited Hugo's cellar and all the locals, tourists and everyone knows this is one of the best if not the best dinner experience on Vegas. The customer service is outstanding and out of this world the way you are greeted and treated and respected here. The entire staff was amazing especially Truth! He was a joy and a pleasure to be around. The ambiance is old school, cellar 50's feel to this place! So much character and I'm such history in this place. And for the food well, I have to stay 5 stars on everything. The steak was delicious the mashed potatoes were great and the overall flavor of the food was very good. I would say this is probably the most tender steak I have ever eaten and could be the fact aged for 40 days making it one of the most aged steak in the area. This place is simply a 5 star experience! As far as the steak, one of my top 5 to 6 steaks I've had as far flavor and tenderness. I wouldn't say the best but certainly up there for sure. Located in the 4 queens hotel, this is a usual stop for me. The food and service is pretty good. The salad is what brings me back all the time. They have this huge table where you can put up to 20 toppings on your salad. I had the ribeye with mashed potatoes which was alright. I also had the banana foster where they make it right in front of you. Overall the food and service were great! read more

Great place. Long-stemmed red roses for the ladies was a nice, old-school touch. Service was great, nice clubby atmosphere. The starter breads were great. The basket had pretzel rolls, whole wheat rolls, and a cheddar lavash bread. I had the pretzel rolls and the cheddar lavash. Boy, that lavash was really something. Crispy and thin, really nice taste. We got tiny cones of raspberry sorbet as a palate cleanser. Nice. The butter was presented in the form of a rose, which was really pretty. The other notable thing was that the butter rose was soft, which made it easier to butter our bread. We had the salad tossed table side. Nice selection of toppings that included bay shrimp and marinated artichokes with hearts of palm. *Note to the staff though: wanting anchovies doesn't mean adding enough for an entire salad bowl's worth. They're very salty, so a very little goes a long way for a personal salad! All the entrees were good. I had the ribeye, medium rare, with the garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. The ribeye was perfectly cooked to perfection. The garlic mash was very tasty, and the asparagus had both white and green spears, which was a nice touch. All were very tasty. We got the complimentary chocolate dipped strawberries, drizzled dried figs and drizzled dried apricots, with whipped cream. Yum. For our birthday person, they delivered a piece of chocolate lava cake with a candle in it. We all had a taste of this, excellent. I ordered the crème brûlée for dessert. I would have to say this wasn't the best crème brûlée I'd ever had. The custard was not silky smooth and the sugar crust was a bit too thick. All on all, a really nice experience. read more

We are hoping to make reservations for our anniversary in August. Our appetites are small your portions are large is there a fee to split an entree if we order an app and soup as well?
There is not a fee to split appetizers or entrees, but I believe there is no option to share the salad bar. Excellent choice for an anniversary dinner!
What is the dress code?
I have seen people in shorts and others in suits. I would say business casual-like, to feel comfortable. But some go all out.
My wife and I are small eaters. Can we get just the hot rock appetizers our dinner and no other entree?
Yes, you can. There's no minimum order requirement.

Good evening. I was just trying to make reservations for a party of 12 for 2/17/22...Hugos Cellar is our all time favorite place to go while in Vegas...we are needing some recommendations on how to secure tables not together but at one time?
I'm considering bringing my two young daughters for a special family night out. Are there options for children? May I share a plate with one as I'm it a big eater?
It is more of an adult oriented restaurant. You can share a plate but there is s$29 fee. I am not sure if they have a children's menu. Hope this helps.

You can use your points, but it does not offer a discount.

We saw that they have a Chateubriand with lobster. Would they serve the chateaubriand without the lobster? Would we still have to pay the full price?
I'm coming to Vegas alone. Can I get the Hot Rock or do I have to be with someone else to get it?
I'm almost certain they can accommodate for one. Last time I went I ordered the seafood tower for 2 but they were able to make it for three!
Do they currently have happy hour specials?
I can only speak for the dining room and no they do not. They have a very small bar that may have specials but I honestly doubt it.
Are the steaks done over flame or on a griddle?
Over flame. They also have this amazing appetizer dish that you cook the meat yourself on a extremely hot stone.
Is there accommodations for babies?
Personally I wouldn't bring a baby here. I didn't see any high chairs or booster seats or any kids at all actually.
Would running shoes, golf shirt and jeans meet the dress code?
Fine but no shorts. It is old school fancy so the staff wear black tie. We were comfortable in jeans and dress shirts
