I've hired movers before who charged an arm and a leg, purposefully moved very slow to charge more money, and just overall do a bad job. Let me tell you that Hulk Movers is the OPPOSITE of a shady mover! We had 3 guys, one large truck, and let me tell you that they worked HARD and were incredibly efficient, something that I really liked as movers. They even moved an upright piano UPSTAIRS and the stairs had a tight 90 degree corner, too! I was incredibly impressed. They worked quickly but were also very careful. I was quoted $450 to help me move out of a 1 bedroom apartment (no truck, 2 movers) because of the three hours minimum and a travel fee from their location to mine. I spent two days going back and forth with this moving company. I decided to contract my services with them, until they told me that they don't sign contracts, until the actual day of moving. This gives them the ability to cancel the move up to the last moment. Make sure you get a signed contact from this company before you give them a deposit. They definitely know what they are doing and why they are doing it. They even try to convince you that they are contracted by sending me an email. I know that is the first way to get a lawsuit thrown out of court. Be careful. Update to this review. The owner of Hulk Movers just called me and threatened me that if I don't remove this review that he is going to find me and fuck me up. I have called the police and they are on their way to file a report. Now, the business owner is backtracking big time acting mike they didn't call me this morning to threaten me. Here is a pic of my call logs proving the call was incoming. The police documented the incident and called the owner of Hulk Movers to stop harassing me. If they contact me again I am able to get an order of protection against them. I'd be very careful with these guys. I imagine they do this to many people. I reached out to Hulk Movers and they took care of us for a second time! I had several questions as we were moving items from a storage unit to a POD in addition to items from the home to the POD for our cross country move. Max replied via email answering all my questions, even changing the date when requested to accommodate our schedule. The day of the move I received a call 20 minutes prior to their arrival during the 8-9am arrival window, greeted by three friendly guys, Doneek, Yura, and Alex. In one hour they had loaded the 9x10 storage unit on the truck, which I thought was excellent, blanket wrapping and shrink wrapping things as requested. These guys knew what they were doing and cared about my personal belongings! Then we met at the house to load into the POD and move items from the house into the POD. In three hours total, they were finished, the POD was packed and we were able to enjoy our afternoon. At no time did I feel they were in a hurry to leave, in fact we walked back through and they asked if there was anything else before we closed up the POD. I thought we may run out of time or not have enough room, however with Hulk Movers and their team Doneek, Yura, and Alex; it was excellent!!! In total the $735.63 (including deposit was well worth every dollar) and I can't recommend them highly enough! read more

I don't even know where to begin! If you look at my past reviews, you can see that I typically HATE movers and moving. However, Hulk Movers, especially Anton and Nik, were INCREDIBLE. I am soooooo satisfied with their work. I originally booked Hulk Movers for a local move, but after plans changed, I ended up needing them to pack 1,000 square feet of stuff into two U-Pack Relocubes. WELL, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. These two must be pros at Tetris because my cubes were packed high, tight and secure AF. Aside from a few sips of water here and there, this crew DID NOT STOP MOVING. I've hired movers in the past who were slow. These two were not... at all. They got the job DONE! They were also really nice. And as for Sanjar, he also deserved a round of applause. He was so flexible when I had to change my move. I called at the last minute to tell him when the cubes were expected and he was incredibly accommodating. I would HIGHLY recommend Hulk Movers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Our Hulk moving team really saved us during a very complicated move (long drives, multiple locations, last-minute due to medical issues, and WAY more stuff than estimated). Their prices were very good, and I can't say enough positive things about the customer service we received from booking and our moving team! The men who moved us worked so hard (for over 12 hours!) and the whole time were very kind, had such positive attitudes, and were very careful with our things. I chose this service because of the great reviews, and because the man I first spoke with to do the booking that also followed up with me to get the booking seemed very polite and professional which I appreciated (Sudar I believe). The two movers for my two bedroom condo were great, but I guess I had a lot more stuff than expected so it took them the whole day, costing me $1075 to move. Much more than I expected, still I gave them each a $50 tip. My COMPLAINT is that when I called to get a missing item returned, and some response about damages, the man was very rude even though I was very polite & understanding that these things happen, but I wanted some help in fixing two things. He was now *very* unprofessional & aggressive, and he didn't want to hear about the missing item, and there was no consideration to fix the damaged items. No return phone call or email response after I sent the pictures requested. The owner of this company is Jekyll and Hyde so be careful. If anything goes wrong you are screwed. The custom cupholder that I used daily for my work desk was never reattached and is not in the home, some sort of grease was left on one bedroom carpet, table frame was dropped from the second story and got scratched, a new tear in the mattress. No damage was mentioned at the time of the move, I had to discover it all later. Pretty shitty outcome by this owner. read more

Just completed a move combining two sites into one location. The crews were very nice and worked hard. Need improvement on choosing moving tools wisely based on specific situations. Overall planning can be improved as well. This has a large impact on working efficiency. Not sure if increasing efficiency is a high priority for the team though when the final charge is based on total hours to complete the job. I have used movers who offered total cost estimates based on the project in the past. I was far more impressed by how smoothly the move was executed that time. I believe it takes more experience to provide that offer at the manager level. Hope that option is available in the future. read more

I have used Hulk movers twice before and been very satisfied but this last time in 9/2024 proved to be less than impressed. They usually do an excellent job of being prompt, efficient, wrapping furniture, assembling and disassembling furniture, and offering reasonable prices with a cash discount. However this last time it seemed that the guys they sent were not as good. They were decently efficient. None of our furniture got damaged but I did notice after the fact that two of our beds were assembled with 2 screws missing as the headboard was wobbly. I had to order new screws and fix myself. I wouldn't call this five star service. Also, at the end of the day, we tipped them the equivalent of one hour of work (which is standard in the industry) and one of their guys said "I would've expected better from you". It's like a tip is a privilege for doing a less than average job vs being rewarded for going above and beyond. Based on this last experience I won't use them again and I hope the owner realizes this and makes the necessary changes in the future if they want to keep up their reputation. read more

*Note: I'm kind of a big nerd, so I was little biased in picking "Hulk" Movers. Last time I moved I was a youthful lad of 29 years young, and my wife at 27...now we're in our early 40s and too old to lift much any more! After using the Yelp multi search feature, Hulk seemed to have the best rates and best reviews. Arrangements was all done through Yelp messenging and paying a $100 deposit. Hulk movers Doneek and Nuh showed up promptly at 8:30am. I was a little worried at first as they're weren't the biggest looking guys. But my fears quickly faded after 10 minutes of watching them quickly lift, push, pull, grab, and move our many boxes into the truck. They then moved the furniture, which they expertly and gently wrapped in protective plastic and blankets. They even fixed the loose leg on my couch! They also professionally took apart my massive king sized bed frame and reassembled it. We also had a very complicated IKEA desk which they also managed to partially disassemble and reconstruct. Besides a 30 minute lunch break, they didn't once stop working. No smoke breaks. No texting breaks. Doneek and Nuh are hard workers! Total bill was $800 for about 7 hours of work. That includes the truck rental too! Worth it! I also gave $40 each to both Doneek and Nuh...those guys are tough! HULK!!! read more
