Amazing reviews so we tried and it lives up to the rep, don't think anyone competes locally! Read the couple bad reviews and thought they were hilarious. Someone complained poor signage & missed a parking spot & that it was "packed" & didn't couldn't try. Lol. How do you rate a place you couldn't get into??? Another said, 5 times great but then they had a tantrum because they couldn't make up menu items for their kid? The manager is extremely rude and I will never come back because of it. While we did have a larger group and children, we did call ahead to make sure it would be ok for us to come for a birthday dinner. We were informed we couldn't get reservations, but if we called ahead we could get on the list to be seated so we wouldn't have to wait as long with the kids. Well after being told to call back 4 times, we still have a 90 min wait. When asked if we could wait inside because we were worried about the kids potentially being hit by a car outside, the manager told us we could only come inside if the kids sat down. She also proceeded to tell us if the kids stood up but she would kick us out, all while another kid was wondering around the restaurant while her parents ate. Had the manager just told us that they could not accommodate us and it was not kid friendly when we called, we would have not gone there. read more

Our go to place. The whole family always has a great meal here. It can be a little noisy but there is outdoor seating if you are sensitive to loud Restaurants. The Humble Caesar is by far my favorite meal. The short rib grilled cheese is amazing. The hamburger is excellent also. So first we went to Cvizio because we saw their TV appearance on the one of the today shows and the food looked amazing. However, when we got there the place was very crowded and there was one table very noisy when I asked for not to be sat next to children the bathroom the kitchen or the front door. The host a young kid in a T-shirt (We we're looking for upscale restaurants). Wanted to sit us at a table near the front door and it was still dirty (we had a reservation). He explained all other tables were for customers with larger parties. Then he asked if I got that, we walked out and to Humble Bistro. Wow mind blown, we were met by a well dressed hostess and she sat us right away. A few moments later, our server, Sarah came over and took very good care of us the rest of the evening and made us feel welcome. The food and wine were very good and Sarah's service was impeccable. Absolutely loveeeeeee this place! I adore the staff and their food is amazing! There is literally nothing bad on the menu I highly recommend "This little Figgy" it's like a flatbread pizza meets bruschetta with sourdough It was fabulous. Sara was our main waitress which she was an absolute doll but what I love about this establishment is that they all work together. Tristan and sienna came by our table frequently to bring us drinks or just check on us and everyone made us feel at home and catered too but without hovering. My husband Chet got the lasagne and IT IS TO DIE FOR we scarfed it down before we could even snap a pic but be prepped it's huge. That didn't stop us from ordering another to go for lunch the next day lol and it still tasted amazing if not better the next day! If you are looking for a good place for food, drinks and over just good vibes this is the spot! The owners interact with everyone and one of them is even the head chef and makes the food fresh daily, and you can taste it. Overall 10/10 establishment, Food and staff ask to be sat in either those 3 ladies above sections and you will be treated like VIP and I highly recommend wearing comfy pants because you will be stuffed! read more

This is our new favorite Italian restaurant. We love the Gentleman pizza, wedged salad, dessert, spicy drinks and outdoor seating. What we loved the most was the servers! Stumbled upon the restaurant and so glad we did! The food was delicious and the staff so friendly and helpful. We ordered Those Camarones shrimp appetizer which was perfectly cooked and flavored shrimp in a slightly spicy red sauce with delicious house bread that is somewhat akin to a flatbread. My husband ordered the short rib pasta which he enjoyed. The pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked. I ordered Cremini Sachetti with shrimp. It was a 10. Fantastic fresh pasta pockets with cremini mushrooms and ricotta cheese. The most flavorful brown butter truffle sauce with fresh crimini mushrooms. To die for. Highly highly recommend! Sadly this place has some new restaurant kinks to work out. After a fabulous first experience last week that was terrific we decided to return as locals and support a local restaurant. However once we returned and started ordering we were informed that their oven was newly installed and they could not fill any orders of pizza or lasagna which are the main Staples of the restaurant. Being good sports we decided to order other items and makeshift a meal. Upon ordering a second round of wine we were also informed that the wine we wanted was not available and that they would substitute a wine at double the price. However they offered no discount. The managers nor the chef were on site. Needless to say we hope they succeed but based on their spotty service at this point the jury is still out. read more

Business must be really good for management refusing to put two tables together to seat our party of 6. This was ludicrous cause we had an elderly handicapped lady having to stand around waiting for one of two tables to maybe open up prior to closing. Keep in mind that this was a Monday eve about an hour till closing with plenty of 4 seaters avx. This was the 2nd time we had a negative experience so we are DONE!!!! read more

This is a nice addition to High St. The atmosphere is laid back, service was good and they have a nice wine list! The Caesar salad is unique and tasty with charred Brussel sprouts (don't knock it till you try it ). They also have all day happy hour. Definitely recommend Humble Bistro read more

We've had to relocate to Phoenix for a bit and decided to try this place since it's not far from where we're staying and the reviews were tempting. We took advantage of a rare day of bearable weather to walk here once we learned it's open for lunch on weekends. And we're so glad we did. Service was friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. And the food was worth a return. My mood was for brunch and my veg Benedict was fresh and tasty. The star of our meal might have been the for one artichokes-- so delicious. Hubby was in more of a lunch mood. He got a half order of wings he enjoyed. And his salad was delicious but so big he brought half home for dinner. We will be back to try the dinner menu. We had a first class experience at Humble Bistro and had to share. Not only was the food INCREDIBLE, the staff were totally on their game. Such a great atmosphere and you can tell that the employees are happy and love what they do! Would recommend all pastas (loved the lobster ravioli special) and the market board had the most amazing (and fresh) ingredients. Humble Bistro on high street has Delicious food and drinks. I had the Pasta Rosa & Meatballs. The meatballs were very tender and melts in your mouth. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very festive. We've been here six times for dinner and loved it every time. On two of those occasions we brought others to join us to introduce it to them. We've told a lot of people about how great it was as well. I have been planning on doing a five star review for weeks but had not gotten around to it. Unfortunately if I had I'd be updating my review right now. We came here today for brunch. It was our first time. The service as far as the server is concerned was a three out of five and the food, was nowhere near as good as the dinners we've had even though some of the items (pizza and meatballs) were the same. The pizza was totally different and the meatballs were not even close, cold and old and the sauce was like water. But the worst part is one of our kids wanted a grilled cheese which they offer with short rib for $17. My wife asked if they could make it without the short rib and they said no and that even if we deleted the short rib it would still cost $17. Really? We were really loving this place but between the recent inconsistency with the food and the lack of adaptability and common sense customer service I don't think we'll be back. read more
