My flight is massively delayed and this restaurant is right next to the gate. I looked at pics on Yelp and read complaints about soggy pizza. I didn't risk toppings to make it soggy. I also requested my plaint pie to be cooked well done. The dough wasn't soggy. If it was cooked well done then I'm afraid to ever eat a non-well done pizza. The dough at its thickest point is the texture of a soft marshmallow. The cheese tastes pretty good. The sauce is too sweet for my preference. Overall, I feel like I'm getting exercise with all the work I'm putting in eating the dough. The employees here move slow and don't seem excited to serve. Found a place near the gate at the airport. Fast, good service. We only got the fries, the sangria and whiskey. The sangria was good definitely a solid three. Fries were delicious, warm and well seasoned. Everyone there seemed to get along well and the service was fast. I think this is a great bar to hang out at if you're at the airport! Since Humble Pie is airport pizza, I need to grade it on a curve, but overall it's definitely nothing spectacular. The crust is closer to Domino's in taste and texture than neapolitan, and they put a ton of cheese on their Margherita pie, but the 8 to 10-inch pie is perfect for a "light" meal before a flight. The pies also come out pretty quickly (under 10 minutes, it seemed), so it's a good option if you don't have time for a real sit down meal. The staff is nice and lively, and the prices are fair for an airport. Overall, no real complaints, but no real highlights. read more

I got to the airport pretty early before my flight and was really hungry. The veggie omelette that I had was delicious! It also came with fruit, potatoes and toast. We just visited the Humble Pie location in Gilbert to celebrate my 65th birthday and were fascinated with the food and service. My husband had the Patty Melt and I had the "This Lil'Figgy" pie which was simply delicioso! The portions were well appointed and we didnt have any room for dessert. We will certainly be back. I noticed most servers and assistants were female, (a positive twist for women) which I find get what I have to say when questioning whether the items on the menu are spicy at all. I fly out of sky harbor every week. On longer flights back east, I usually stop at Humble Pie-( A Gates ) and grab a pizza for the flight. The pizza is not terrible, crisp crust, (I prefer mine well done though) I only order the cheese. Food quality is sporadic, it find that it depends on which employee is on the pizza line and cook station. The one consistency is: the staff are horribly rude, from the person taking orders, to the line prep, to the cook. I understand 15min to cook a pizza (they are good about telling you this up front) but when that 15 turns into 25, staff is in NO HURRY to get orders out, Manager is walking around acting like she's doing "quality check?", - they truly CARE LESS that you have a flight to catch.
