By far my favorite Mediterranean spot. Very similar to Cava but tastes way better and better portions. Been coming to Hummus Way since they've open. I love the options they have here from the Couscous to the shawarma mushroom mix. Their zesty feta, eggplant hummus, and harissa humus are so ridiculously good. Each bowl comes with a large pita bread that you can use to scoop the dips. I'm not vegetarian or vegan but I can definitely be swayed to if I can have Hummus Way everyday. Also, they have meat options that are great as well, just prefer getting the mushroom cause I never see it anywhere else. Service is always top notch and the gentleman here is always so kind. Food is always fresh and delicious! My go to spot when I want something fresh and healthy. Always feel good after eating here! Also, no fake news here. No one paid me for this review, lol. read more

Hummus Way? This is the way. We were craving along the lines of Mediterranean food, and we found this spot through Yelp. It absolutely satisfied our cravings!! I got the chicken shawarma bowl with pesto chicken. I wish I could have more for breakfast!! Service was fantastic, and they were so kind and introducing us to all of the meats, toppings, etc for our first time visit. This is definitely a hidden gem! This is like a Mediterranean chipotle. It is in a little small lot with some random stores. I didn't expect it be so good. The mushroom is my favorite (I got a half mushroom and half tri tip). My partner and child got the chicken and they both loved it. It is definitely our go to Mediterranean spot! read more

Very quiet place, in a sorta empty in-between area. Guy that helped was very friendly, and he listened carefully to what I wanted. Food is delicious! Whatever spice they top off the meat with, goes so great with the rice and other toppings. I wouldn't go out of my way for this, but if I was in the area, definitely would consider it an option! read more

First off, let me say that my wife and I are big fans of Mediterranean cuisine and are always on the lookout for a "fast food" version of it on the rare occasions that we cant get to go out. So, it's no surprise that Hummus Way is rapidly replacing our previous go-to for satisfying this craving. The quantities are generous, and the cuisine is consistently delicious. Whenever possible, we try to make our own armed wedges. This is an excellent choice for dinner. read more

I wish this concept was more readily available everywhere. The food is amazing and very good, service was good, I went right when they opened so there was nobody else in the restaurant but the staff was very friendly and attentive. Oh my! Came in for a lunch stop. My trucking route took me to this area. Yelp reviews looked good and so did the photos. It was pretty empty. The owner is super cool! Very friendly and helpful. Takes good care of his guests. I got the "build your own bowl". Toppings of my choice and two types of chicken. The paprika chicken and lemon chicken (I think). Both really good. Their house hummus was bomb! Everything else was fresh and portions are plentiful. I really enjoyed my lunch and if I'm ever in the area, I'll come by to try some other stuff. I have since moved from SoCal to the Bay Area and no matter what, we will always come to Hummus Way at least once when we visit family. Vegan Review: After ordering the Mushroom Shawarma Bowl with a Side of Falafel and Baklava dessert, I can say I was let down. For spending over $30 to share a bowl with my partner, I was let down, and it is something I could recreate at a Trader Joe's with $15 in much more quantity. The falafel tasted like a boxed mix, dry crumbly and tasted over salted, almost like knorr. The mushroom shawarma tastes how it looks in photos, there is no crispness or caramelization as a good shawarma would have, and it's is flavorless and chewy. The hummus on the side tasted like it went bad, and I was disappointed in the base of the bowl (rice, couscous and mixed greens). Does not taste authentic to any mediterranean cuisine I've tried. The server was kind but it was awkward due to some miscommunications. Maybe they should play some music too, it's a very stale place to sit and eat a meal. A side note: I think the menu prices have changed because the items were $2-$3 more each on the POS, almost scammy. read more

Hummus Way is my go-to when I'm craving Mediterranean food. Way better than Pita Hot or Olive Pit, which are both much closer to where I live. The food at Hummus Way has so much flavor, even down to the pilaf. As a non meat eater, I usually end up with falafel (which I love, don't get me wrong) but the mushroom shawarma here blows my mind. The hubs LOVES the beef and has tried every protein on the menu at this point. The chipotle style setup allows you to customize your food however you want and the portions are unbutton-your-pants generous. EVERYTHING I've tried here has been amazingly delicious. read more

Definitely not worth the price for the size of the bowl. This place used to be amazing, and affordable. The last few times we have have the portions were very good and we could justify paying $12-13 per person for this to go food since it would feed us for 2-3 meals. I am appalled at tonight's order. The boxes they packed the meals in were significantly smaller in size, and the prices went up 25%. $16 each. Prices way up and portions were slashed. We're disappointed, we won't be looking here for future meals. Edit: finished the meal, and I am still hungry. It tastes different, as well. I feel the same way as similar recent reviewers, the flavor is not the same as it used to be. You won't be finding us at Hummus Way for a while. Update: I appreciated the owner's response, and I think it shows their commitment to their business. I posted a picture of my family member's bowl, which I did not know had asked for no greens and one less scoop of the sauce. My bowl looked similar, it did not fill up to the edges of the container. If anyone doubts the change in portions, just take a look at past photos of food and see how different it looks. Next time I will request extras, which I appreciate the advice from the owner. Came in with my boyfriend to get some lunch for takeout and Sameer help us out. It was our first time here but Sameer was kind and patient and walk us through. We both got the bowl which comes with rice, greens, hummus, and a ton of veggies! I got the chicken and the beef and it was so delicious. It just melt in my mouth. The food here is fresh, the serving sizes are large, and everything is delicious. I was going to give this four stars, because it's good, but it really takes something to be pushed up to five stars. However, after we sat to eat, the owner came by to check how everything was. He could see that my daughter wanted something, but she was shy, so he waited until she said she wanted some extra tomato and cucumber. He then brought her a huge container of both, enough that she could bring some home. This type of service pushed this place up to five stars. read more

Similar to the Cava chain, support this local business! They have a delicious choice between a bowl, wrap, open pita or potato wedges topped with a variety of spiced and extremely flavorful proteins like chicken shawarma, beef tri-tip or even shiitake mushroom shawarma! The hummus choices are super tasty and they have a ton of sides like fried zucchini and the pita bread is warm and fresh. Be careful in the parking lot because the spaces are very compact but the quick service makes up for it and the staff are very friendly. read more

Doesn't get much better than this for Middle Eastern food. For what it is -- a casual, Middle Eastern eatery where you order up at the counter -- this absolutely nails it. And they have tons of vegan options, which is what alerted us to the place. I ordered a build-your-own-bowl ($13.75), which comes with your own base (rice or couscous or both -- I did both), choice of greens (I did spinach), choice of protein (I did their shiitake mushroom shwarma), up to 3 types of hummus, veggies, and sauce. The mushroom shwarma was divine -- cooked to perfection, with a great consistency and array of spices. Everything else worked perfectly in the bowl too. This was really wonderful. 5/5 My wife did a similar thing, but over an open-face pita instead of rice/couscous. She loved hers as much as I loved mine. Couldn't recommend this place more. read more

This place is so good!!! Everything tastes really fresh, flavorful, and such a delight! Inside the store I saw a hand written note to try their new pesto chicken Shawarma so I got half paprika and half pesto chicken shawarma. Sooo good! Worker (with the very nice arm tattoos) was so helpful with my dressing options (can choose up to 3) I appreciated a whole lot. Toppings were absolutely fresh and it all mixed so beautifully together. Looks drenched but it was just enough dressing for it all! 10/10 read more

This place is one of our go-to healthy meal options when we are trying to make good choices but also want yummy food. I love building my own bowl of mixed greens and spinach, topped with falafel (my husband loves all three chicken flavors), hummus choices, and toppings. I LOVE the fire feta (it's got a good kick) and the red cabbage has the best marinade on it. The menu is very clearly marked for gluten-free options and their falafel is safe! read more

I'm a huge Lebanese food enthusiast, and unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. The fattoush salad was mostly wilted lettuce with a heavy amount of sumac mixed in. The dressing didn't taste authentic either (no pomegranate molasses or mint) which was disappointing because I genuinely love a good fattoush. The falafel also wasn't great. It was dry and oversized. Bigger doesn't always mean better when it comes to quality. The people working there were very friendly, and the service itself was pleasant, but the food quality just wasn't for me. Unfortunately, I won't be going back.

The calamari appetizer was ok but I did like the lobster roll. The lobster was delicious, fries were perfectly seasoned and slaw was palpable. However, my friend thought his chicken was dry but finished his plate. I told him you should have gotten the mahi mahi. I like the atmosphere , the employees were friendly and helpful and everyone seem to be enjoying their meal there. I would definitely return.
