Welcome to the park Humphrey Slocombe! You've come a long way since I first discovered you in the heart of the Mission! This location is perfectly situated near Roam and Slice making it a perfect treat after both. They also feature a couple special flavors I haven't seen at other locations (hello, rosé all day) in addition to my regular faves of Vietnamese coffee and matcha doodle. This location itself is not very large but it is brightly lit and has a large plaza outside to sit and enjoy your treats! Can't wait to continue to sponsor this great creamery!

Taking over the old ice cream place is this new ice cream place. Maybe not so new since Humphrey Slocombe is a chain. First things first. Be prepared to wait. Got here at 5:30pm and there was a line out the door! Higher prices than the other location at almost $6 a scoop. 3 stars because they didn't know their flavors and only gave one sample per person. My friend really wanted to buy the Secret Breakfast cake but the lady couldn't tell us what flavors other than secret breakfast were in it. Like she didn't know the flavor of the cake or whether or not there was another flavor on top. My friend ended up getting the Harlequin Cake which was chocolate malt and strawberry ice cream for almost $60. We both felt it was overpriced.

Dropping off my kids friend at Bay Meadows and saw an open parking spot - decided to park and get the boys ice cream - there wasn't a line as it was a weekday at 3:30pm which was nice - specific flavors are unnecessary becasue any that we've tried have all been great, even the vanilla, which my son often gets. The scoops are a good size and the ice cream tastes fresh, no freezer flavor, so the turnaround on the ice cream must be pretty good - either they dump it or sell it all - at these prices it is a relief - not cheap but worth every penny for unusual flavors and good quality - almost makes us not miss Tin Pot that was here before. Sorry that no one could wait for a pic before taking a bite - but yeah, it is that yummy!

Probably would like it but this location is almost never open. I've walked by this spot 5 times now on different days and different times, only open once. Meanwhile the Redwood City location is always open during business hours

    Tahitian Vanilla flavor

First time at this new location with my 6 year old daughter. There were not many typical flavors to choose from that kids would be familiar with or like- basically just Tahitian Vanilla and Strawberry something, which the employee said "basically tastes like strawberry cheesecake." We both got the Tahitian Vanilla which was delicious, but they did have a promotional sign posted by the ice cream that bothered me. It said "Make it gay sundae" with pink fluff and fruit loops. How is that gay? Do the FRUIT loops make it gay? Didn't sit right with me. Even if they're trying to use gay in the happy term, they knew what they were doing when they made that sign. 3 stars for the good ice cream.

Found out about this place through a friend. They said they swung by with their family over an hour before closing ... and the doors were shut. Just popped by with my kids around 4pm and they're closed lol Waited about 20 minutes & they finally emerged to let us in along with the other folks who waited. Only one person working, super rude & uninterested. Bummer

$9.50 for this dinky float. Yeah it was good but can we talk about how ridiculous that is????
    Mandi F.

I'm torn. They're good but they're just so expensive. $9.50 for a dinky float? I get that you give me the bottle of coke with it but can I just get an option that doesn't do that for a cheaper price? Or list your prices outside on your board? It feels sneaky otherwise. Thanksssss.

    Front of store.

Ice cream is good, but this location is plagued by a guy who acts real stuck up and frankly has 0 customer service. Which is a wild choice for a place charging $6.25 for a scoop. I get it can be hard to find people when you likely don't pay much, but my word. Hire anyone else.

Christmas Xmas Story (seasonal) and Vietnamese Coffee Ice Cream

We love going to this location as it's not usually crowded. They have a variety of unique flavors and offer free taste! Our go-to is vietnamese coffee, hongkong milk tea or the seasonal Christmas story.

Ice cream was good, people were friendly, but I didn't appreciate the day-old stale waffle cone.

There's a lot of ice cream choices in the peninsula so this is way over priced for the limited flavors and size.

The line moved quickly, with just a few groups ahead of us. Pricing falls in line with standard Bay Area dessert spots: $7 for a small, $8 for a medium, and $9.50 for a large as of 2025. Service was fast and friendly. While there's no indoor seating, there's a spacious patio area with plenty of tables and chairs outside. I'll definitely be coming back soon to try more of their flavors -- the Chunky Fudge Brownie and Caramel Fudge Vanilla both caught my eye.
