Food is good, but prices do not match what is posted in online menu. Be careful enough when ordering.

You have to place your order at a register and they bring your food out to the table overlooking the water. There is patio seating and indoor seating. The tables are metal w a blue rubber. Not uncomfortable but not particularly comfortable either. The place is casual, low frills, and does not offer table service. However, the sunsets over the water are super pretty here and the string lighting is pretty. The LOADED LOBSTER BISQUE came with creamy bisque with a hint of sherry wine and extra loaded with lots of lobstah meat. 10/10 LEONS "FAMOUS" LOBSTAH ROLL served Hot comes with old bay and butter. If Served Cold, it comes with house mayo blend, fresh citrus and old bay. I opted for hot and it was very tasty. 10/10 LEONS PO BOY came with crispy shrimp with house slaw, sweet & spicy pickles, and our scratch made remoulade. 8/10 BANG SHRIMP TACOS came with crispy shrimp with siracha mayo, sweet thai chili, house slaw, and red pepper flakes on 3 flour tortillas and a side of potato chips. The tacos were tasty but chips side was disappointing. It Would have been better with real chips and salsa. 8/10 FISH N CHIPS came with crispy northern cod fried golden brown and served with tartar sauce and leons house-made remoulade. Very tasty fresh and juicy. 9/10 LEONS CRISPY SHRIMP BASKET came with a dozen jumbo shrimp served with cocktail and leons' house made. The shrimp was surprisingly juicy and tasty. The remolded sauce was tasty as well. 9/10 If you're looking for a casual seafood spot with a pretty sunset water view in South Tampa south of Bayshore, definitely try out Leon's Lobstah Shack!

Since it was a little humid outside, we opted to sit inside with the AC. Here's what we ordered: I have their new coconut crusted grouper sandwich style with onion rings. The beer battered onion rings was also a good compliment to the sandwich and the batter was so light. We also had their lobster corndog with fries. These two entrées that we ordered are a must try when you visit this place. The service was pretty quick. They got a little busy towards the end, but the food comes very quickly hardly any wait at all! So if you're in the mood for some local seafood bites and you're in the ballast point Tampa Bay area this place is a must try. Highly recommend.

I was with a party of 9. Front of house was short staffed (one line soldier) she knocked out our orders with speed and efficiency and then started bussin down tables, allowing us to move tables together and all. Heck yeah. Food showed up in waves (made the fish feel at home) and lemme tell you a secret. That fish landed infront of me...I didn't look up, head down and dialed in. Perfect harmony of ingredients. I wouldn't change a thing. Great fries too. Big Ray and your fish camp, take a bow son. Do a victory lap. You deserve every one of your flowers. You can do no wrong in my eyes.

Plenty of parking in the stalls on the property as well as neighborhood parking and local stores adjacent parking spots. Once inside, you are greeted by the cute looking host at the nicely decorated front reception. She seats you immediately to a an open floor spacing with two sides of seating and a centralized semi-circle bar area. There are roughly over 30 tables and plenty of room to accommodate small to larger. The cajun boil here is fabulous! Loved every minute of it. Will be visiting again ... maybe not during the hurricane seasons. :)

Parents night out was a great time at Oystercatchers. We started with the Single Tier Seafood Plateau and beyond the oysters, for me the Tuna Poke was the bomb!! This was a nice start to our experience. Then I did the St Augustine Clam Chowder and while it was good, it was a bad order on my part as it's a hearty soup. It was too much for me at this time of the year. Then we split the Seafood Mac and Cheese which was great and had some killer pieces of shrimp and spiny lobster in there. Now I won't go into details but we had an issue and the staff did an amazing job going above and beyond to resolve it. We weren't looking for them to go above and beyond but we appreciated it. We also had a nice view of the Bay during dinner which was nice. Comp valet is available which is a nice touch. We will come back in a few months to check out their brunch!

I felt like the sauce was too sweet for the fritters itself. You couldn't really taste the conch it felt like it got hidden by the dough flavors rather than complimented by it. loved the French toast though!! Super fluffy I loved how everything paired well with one another the apples, blueberries, Nutella and marshmallow topping. The hangover hash was also quite enjoyable. The prime rib pulled apart easy and was super flavorful. Save yourself the money by not getting the florentine omelet. The others on the menu carry because this omelet was bland.
