Their service is BEYOND awful. We placed an order and they confirmed it, but while waiting for this order for an hour and thirty minutes, they then notified us right before closing at 9:15 pm that the order was "stolen." Fraudulent business practices. DO NOT purchase with a credit card here. I have been dealing with two charges from June and July and disputing them with my bank multiple times. I haven't even lived in this state since February. I never gave the app permission to keep my credit card on file either. I just got another charge reversal on my statement. The corporate number is useless. I called them a month ago, they are fully aware of this location and their "issue". They gave me a "ticket number" to have the owner call me and issue a refund. Guess what? That never happened. I have called this location a few times and was told I would get a call back. Shocker. Never got a call back. This location and owner is doing some fraudulent activities. Whether it's boosting sales that aren't really there or what but to have this go on for MONTHS is ridiculous. No one should be purchasing from this location. And I swear if some template response is put on this review you can shove it! It's nice to find a place in Tulsa that serves pizza with deep dish crust (most places I've been to, except for one, has serve New York style pizza). I found out about this place because someone on Yelp liked something off of my profile, so when I checked theirs out, I saw this. I saw the options upon options & that's what mostly caught my attention. Good stuff. I got the large, deep dish with pepperoni & Cajun seasoning on the crust. The service was fast & the person who took my order was nice, he even brought the pizza out to my car (I ordered it when I got there). The pizza was greasy & buttery, which is a great thing when it comes to my pizza. Had a little kick from the Cajun & I got full off of 3 slices (comes in 10). As I stated before, the options are at a wide variety & they have wonderful deals. I really enjoy food spots that are not franchises, your mom & pop/hole in the wall type spots. read more

Have been coming here for years. Only regret is not discovering this place sooner. They have great food, great service and great people. They did a custom look for a pizza, for my son's birthday. A few years ago and got it spot on. From all their flavors, wings, subs, calzones, you name it. It's worth it. We only order from here when it comes time for game day pizza. read more

We recently ate here on a groupon. The pizza was great. Our crusts were both butter crust and Asiago Cheese. we got pepperoni pizzas with 3 cheese bread and Dr. Pepper. The pizza was perfectly seasoned and the 3 cheese bread was excellent. it just was super cheesy with the perfect texture. We would go back here even if we didn't use a groupon. Decided to give Hungry Howie's a try since there was a good groupon deal. Ordered one pizza with pepperoni and jalapeños with the asiago cheese crust, another pizza with Italian sausage, mushrooms, and garlic herb crust. Also got the 3 cheese bread and 2 liter. Food was ready in 20 mins, which was good. Arrived to pick up my order and saw no one at the counter (keep in mind this was at 12:50pm on a Tuesday). Waited about 3 minutes with still no one in sight. I heard the phone ring, saw two guys in the back pick up the phone, then they proceeded to return to the back without checking to see if there was anyone up front. I called out "hello? Excuse me?" But the machines in there are quite noisy, so they didn't hear me. Ended up calling them and telling the guy that I was actually at the front counter waiting to be helped. Rundown of the food: The cheese bread is really good! Fluffy, cheesy, buttery. A bit too doughy in some spots, which had me thinking maybe it was a bit undercooked, but it was overall good. The pizzas were good too. The Asiago cheese crust was okay. I felt like the cheese made the crust a bit tough. The garlic herb crust was great though! All in all, GREAT FOOD, poor service. I really don't mean to sound negative, but I'm just being honest. Hungry Howie's, please tell your guys to be more attentive to customers, or at least invest in a door ring or a bell at the front counter. read more

I used a Groupon here & I must say hands down the best pizza I've had in years! I ordered a ham and pineapple pizza with Italian herb on the crust and I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza with some type of Cajun crust and the flavoring on the crust is what made it so good. DO NOT buy wings from this place. I placed an order last night and requested that the wings be well done. They got to my home and were slimy and pink in the middle. They were not done at all. I actually had to put them in my oven at 400° for 20 minutes to get them to not be raw. I ate 3 of 16, but they just didn't taste right. I was up in the middle of the night throwing up and other things. This was all I ate that night. I called the location back today and the shift manager was nice, but I was told by her and the store manager that the wings come pre-cooked by another company and all Hungry Howie's does is "run them through" their oven. If the wings were uncooked it was not their fault. I asked about standing behind their product and was told that even though they served it from their restaurant that it was "not their product". I requested a refund, but was not offered so much as a coupon, which was fine because I won't be eating at or ordering from a Hungry Howie's again. read more

Hungry Howie's is my favorite delivery pizza ever! Love the different crust flavorings, especially the Cajun spice and the Asiago cheese. In my experience, the estimated delivery time is always much longer than what it actually takes to receive my order (i.e., they'll tell me it will take 40 minutes to receive my pizza, but it will actually take only 20-25 minutes). read more

This evening at 18:00 I tried to order a Lg. 3-topping pizza using a coupon I had gotten. Your "deals menu" did not include that option. Si I went to "build your own" pizza, picked 3 toppings, added 3 toppings and when I checked out entered the promo code as directed. I was charged for a regular laarge pizza. When I went back to get a refund (it woulod have been $6) I was told by the manager and the owner that since I didn't bring the pizza back they couldn't give me a refund but would give me 25% off my next order. I told them that was not satisfactory. Because of that I have posted on my Facebook page and the will post on the Yelp.com Tulsa page that the the owner and manager of this store are too short sighted to do the right thing and refund the $6. within less than 2 miles I have Papa John's, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Mazzio's and a couple of other independeent pizza shops. read more

Loved eating from this place on the past. Great prices and amazing flavor! But last time I ordered, using delivery and paying by card, they double charged me and I had to fight to get it refunded. I still had to eat bank fees. It almost got to the point of having an attorney contact them. I haven't ordered there again since then. read more

I have to say we were quite impressed with the pizza and wings we ordered. It took about 10 min longer than they told us for delivery but it wasn't a huge deal. When I called for delivery, the man who answered the phone was very rude and acted like he hated his job. Not only did he talk to me and treat me like I was incompetent, he sighed whenever I explained it was my first time ordering there and I didn't know the pizza crust options. I'm new to the area and wanted to try a different pizza place. Enter: Hungry Howie's. I was intrigued by the flavor options for the crust, and ordered my sausage and mushroom on half garlic and herb, half butter cheese. Also ordered some three-cheese bread to share with my toddler. I wanted to like this place, but it was very mediocre. The cheese bread was on the tough/dry side, and the pizza dipping sauce was lacking in flavor. The pizza itself wasn't bad, but nothing about it was great. I could taste the spices in the garlic and herb crust, but the butter cheese flavor just seemed like normal pizza crust to me. On the plus side, delivery was quick and friendly. Overall, not terrible, but not great. Probably won't be back. read more

Very disappointed! Delivery was very rapid, but after paying for the pizza and tipping liberally I opened the box. The crust of the pizza was on the bottom but all the toppings were on the top because the pizza had obviously spent some time upside down. I called to report the issue, but there was no concern. I was offered a minimal discount on a future purchase, but as a business traveler here staying at a hotel, this wasn't really an option for me. What a shame that they have a nice product, but their customer service is so poor. read more
