I finally made it to Huntley's Place that I've been eyeing for weeks. The bright yellow sign & tables have been catching my eye! We visited on a Sunday afternoon around 11am. Though it was busy, we were seated quickly and a waitress met us fast! Everything we ordered was delicious and served fast! Can't wait to go back & try more of the menu!

I went to Huntley's Place for breakfast last weekend. It was a cute little brunch spot. The service at the bar was good. I ended up getting a Paloma to drink and a country style breakfast for my food. Overall, the food and beverage were good. I will say over $30 for breakfast did feel a bit pricy for what I got as it was a pretty standard breakfast. Overall, it was a nice cozy breakfast spot, but a bit on the pricier side.

Great place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. It gets pretty busy for breakfast and brunch, especially on the weekends. They have a full bar too! Try any of the pancakes they are super delicious. We did like the Lemon-Blueberry pancake. The Mexican Omelette is also very good, especially if you like jalapenos. The hash brown is good and the English muffin as sides work great. Big shout out to our server Nessa. She was super friendly and attentive. We were sitting outside and she did not forget about us. Thank you!

Chocolates Chip Pancakes! These were good, but overpriced compared to several other locally owned establishments.

The prices have increased but the portions have not. My omelet ($16) was more like a couple of folded over eggs or a crepe. Hash browns were scant but the bacon was FINALLY crispy!! My husband had the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon. The pancakes were delicious, but again, the value is no longer there. The prices have jumped about 20% since last summer. There were multiple leaks from the ceiling!! One was right in the walking path, an accident waiting to happen; the other one was right onto the only large group table inthe restaurant. Service was decent. Our guy was chill and friendly but the staff were very chatty with one another so it took a while to signal for more coffee. We won't be back.

We came back for breakfast and drinks after enjoying our previous visit, and once again, it was a great choice. We ordered the Breakfast Tacos, and the Spam and Eggs, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Their breakfast menu offers an impressive variety, and the drinks are just as flavorful. We loved their Bloody Mary. Rachelle provided excellent service, attentive and thoughtful-making sure we had everything we needed and adding to the overall experience.

This was very packed when we arrived. They cleaned up the other tables and places the other parties before us at a very timely manner. The waitress was very and nice and checked up on us often. The breakfast tacos was good but the patty melt and cheese and grits stole the show. Next time I would need to go for the special pancakes.

The food was really great. Was a very down to earth feel. The service was quick. The noise levels were not too loud. I enjoyed the patty melt and I added bacon. The bacon was crisp and thick the bread was great along with the cheese l. The fries reminded me of double fried fries. The mason cup to drink out off gave me feel of being a little kid again which brought back sweet memories. I highly recommend this place.

Thank you for bringing me back to my childhood! Cause this is THE local diner for brunch. Only a short drive from the beach. Small and sweet plus tasty treats! Friendly vibe and fresh food to order. I got the classic cheesy eggs scrambled with American, hash browns and white toast served with a lovely Mimosa. Plus of course I had to get their staple coconut chocolate pancake. My mouth is still watering as I write this. Highly recommend!

Sophia and I made the long trek from Newport News to Virginia Beach to check out this little spot. I first came across them from watching a piece on Channel 13 where they were part of the Friday Flavor segment. They opened up shop in 2020 and have been a local favorite ever since. Let's find out if the drive was worth it. We met up with some friends for breakfast once a table became ready. Inside, it is gorgeous wuth nice decor and a few tables. Truly a hidden gem tucked away within a strip mall. First off, I gotta say the mason jar of water and the coffee cup were neat. You do not need a refill at all. I read that if you want to order one to take home, it cost $6. Maybe I should've done that, but I have enough glasses in the cabinet. Oh yeah....the food. I ordered one of their Summer pancake flavors: peanut butter and jelly. Also, I included a side of sausage patties and hash browns. I'm gonna use my favorite words in the Yelp dictionary: pretty damn good. The pancakes......oh my God were they delicious. You do not need any syrup nor butter to add to this bad boy. Each flapjack was cooked perfectly and full of PB&J spread. Homemade batter like this tasted even better. The sides I ordered....I didn't even touch them. They were boxed up and will be a nice little lunch. And everybody at our table enjoyed their meal. Huge thumbs up. Well, there you have it ladies and gents, a local spot that checked every box. This exceeded my expectations. Great homemade food with great service. Could not have asked for anything more. There will be a return here for sure :)

Yum! What a great place to have breakfast at! Found this place using Yelp and the ratings did not disappoint! Service was kind and friendly! Our server made us feel right at home even being first timers. All the staff was nice that we had interactions with as well. Food was great. We enjoyed the following: Special summer wrap filled with meats, eggs, cheese and covered with sausage gravy. Served with crispy hash browns! Make your own wrap- Grilled onions, peppers and tomatoes with eggs and cheese! This was also served with crispy hash browns and tasted great. Pancakes! They have lots of specialty pancakes so we had to try some of these as well! Went with the recess's and they were delicious! Lots of yummy flavor. Coffee was kept filled and they serve the water in big ole mason jars. There is only about 8 tables so you might have to wait for a table There is also a bar area with about 9 seats. Will return!

A good neighborhood restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Plenty of parking since it's in a shopping plaza. We were seated right away and my mom was on a walker and they were very accommodating. They do have cocktails but we stuck with water which they bring over in a huge mason jar. I love that.....no empty glasses and less refills for them. Our waitress was very nice. Debbie? I got the chicken caeser wrap with pasta for my side. My mom got the burger and fries and my sister got eggs, bacon and hash browns. Everything came out very quickly and my moms burger was huge! It was definitely a frozen patty and you could not order it your way temperature wise. My wrap was very good and I liked that the tortilla was toasted. I did not like the pasta salad at all. I think it was pasta and dressing. My sisters breakfast was good....no complaints. Since my family seems to think I am a human garbage disposal I got to try the fries and hash browns. Both were good, crispy and perfectly cooked. They seem to be known for their pancakes. They also have a full bar. I like that you can get breakfast or lunch anytime. It was a quick meal and we were on our way. I would go back for a quick breakfast or lunch.

Definitely a 5 star rating for their Mushroom Spinach Benedict. Everything was perfect- tasty and fresh - the egg, the tender mushrooms, the gravy. I chose to get fruit with my Benny. The other choice was hash browns and.....(can't remember because am stuck on the Benny taste). Huntley's place is cozy, has an understated elegance. Plenty of brunch selections. Service is great, staff super friendly and polite!

Food: 8/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 This was the second day breakfast spot of choice. I was craving really good pancakes and something local! Huntley's place did not disappoint. This place serves unique brunch & coffee like cocktails. I got a dole whip which is similar to the Disney dole whip everyone knows and loves. It wasn't overly sweet and was a nice balance with the alcohol. The only downside is they do not have non-alcoholic coffee drinks. Nonetheless I was still satisfied with what I ordered. If you come here you have to get the pancakes. They over a wide variety that you can customize too your liking. I got chocolate chip, coconut and banana. They were so light, fluffy and delicious. I also ordered the special which was 2 breakfast tacos. I definitely recommend trying them, it was simple and well seasoned. Overall the food is really good and the drinks.

From the moment we walked in, the Experience was top tier, and the customer service Impeccable. From the door to the table , we received that southern hospitality where we felt welcomed. The Star of the show-THE FOOD! Fresh, flavorful, and seasoned across the board. I hade Avocado toast , and it was everything I wanted it to be. My Man ordered the Wharf Scramble, packed w/ Jumbo Shrimp, kale, spinach, Avocado, tomatoes &scrambled eggs, and let me tell you, they didn't miss!!! Bonus pts: they have a bar, so you can pair your meal with your favorite cocktail. Just a heads up, on the weekends make a reservation, they get packed then and for good reason! Milk & Honey has officially made our "Must Return" list, and we'll definitely be back for another round!!! 415 19th Street, Virginia Beach Trust me...you don't want to miss this one!!!!!

I've been to Milk & Honey VB on a few occasions and I must say I have mixed reviews!…read more Plenty of Public Parking attached to the restaurant building.. I have been to this restaurant a total of 3 times and have always ordered the same dish.. what can I say I am Catfish and Collards kinda girl. Ordered Fish and Grits with a side of Collards on one occasion and I believe with Mac and Cheese & Collards on the other two. The dish is called The Tail of Two fish. It includes one piece of catfish and one piece of whiting.. I substituted for two pieces of Catfish Fried Hard.... If you know. You know. First time collards were decent but nothing to drive in traffic towards oceanfront for. The staff claim to like their Mac and Cheese but I am definitely not a fan. I personally will not Reccomend. They are not horrible but what can I say, watery and lacking layers of flavor and creaminess that one desires when eating a comfort food like Mac & Cheese. The fish was good especially with some Hot Sauce. Grits were ok but I've had better. Cocktails are amazing BUT pricey. Please be mindful that when you are a mixed drink off the menu for example, A lemon Drop, Margarita, any signature drink... it automatically includes alcohol BUT your waiter will ask you what kind of alcohol would you prefer... for instance Don Julio or Patron.... If you select on of those option you will be charged for the cocktail plus the UPGRADED liquor of choice. So if your Margarita is $16 On the menu (that includes liquor) IF you choose one of the choices being offered to you, you will be charged an additional charge for the shot in your drink. For example if you chose Don Julio when you ordered your cocktail. That drink now almost $30!!!! $16 for cocktail on menu PLUS example $12 for a shot of Don Julio... NOW that 1 cocktail cost $28 ish. If you have 3 of these bad boys thru out the course of your meal or happen to ask for a drink with a double shot, be prepared to pay more money for your curated cocktail then you entire meal! The service was excellent BUT I try believe that it's the waiter/or waitresses obligation to advise that when you order your drink it comes with alcohol and if you choose one of the alcohol options that they are providing for your drink, to explain that that is a up charge and you don't have to to pick a brand of liquor because the drink made as is already includes alcohol. This information was not related to any of the guests sitting at my large party and some cocktails actually came up to almost $50 per drink!!!! Quite INSANE! Gratuity is automatically added on for single orders and or large groups. Perhaps the waiters attempt to upsell the Too Shelf Liquor and don't explain. The additional cost to ensure a larger bill which leads to larger amount of gratuity. ‍ who knows but some of my guests complained to the manager and she apologized for the lack of information. Back to the Food! lol Fried Green Tomatoes!!! I normally love them but I know many places cannot truly execute them and Milk& Honey is definitely one of those places that should not have this dish on the menu! Fried Green tomatoes should be FRIED, Seasoned & CRISPY! By adding a dressed salad on top of the tomatoes, your fried green tomatoes is now a SOGGY unseasoned, lukewarm tomato.. I do not Reccomend. Order at your own risk!!! You have been warned! Fried Deviled Eggs. Every person that I have dined with at this restaurant most definitely HIGHLY RATE and DEVOUR the Deviled Eggs. So those get 5 's Shrimp Po Boy Sliders were a hit and fan fave but I believe those were part of a daily special. Peach Cobbler Empanada for dessert was a nice sharable between two to simply try something new. Overall I normally spend at least $100 for my meal, cocktail and at least one drink for the guest of honor including tax and gratuity. That's a bit high for a brunch when the food is a hit or miss. I had such high hopes for this restaurant to be in the 757 area especially because I've heard great reviews from the chains in the DMV area. I disliked that many of my guest were disappointed and dissatisfied for my Birthday Brunch

They wasn't a pinch of seasoning, and it was extremely bland(how do you make eggs bland??? They didn't even taste like eggs) The bacon was just disgusting. Their orange juice is also disgusting tasted like bottom of a plastic container it had been sitting in(not cold at all). but aside from the food being complete trash ... The waitress was very sweet. I told the front desk when I went to pay the food was actually disgusting because I couldn't bring myself to say it to the older lady serving me. But they didn't offer to doc the price or anything(which whatever it was only 35$, idc but to someone else that is a LOT of money for a meal) And the place sucks at cleaning. The table and seat was sticky, so I asked for a rag or napkin to wipe it off. They did but the tables need more then just a rag wipe down the amount of syrup that had been spilled on the table needs actual cleaning not just a slightly wet already sticky towel. I sound like a complete bth- I know. But this was so so disappointing, wouldn't even bother giving it a second chance. So dissapointing.
