I later realized there was calamari as well. A very flavorful dish. Service was good, despite them mentioning they were short staffed. The menu has all the familiar Thai favorites, but also dishes that are hard to come by in the States. We tried quite a few things, and everything was excellent. Our favorites were the Spicy Basil (pad krapow) and Mom's Sausage (sai oua). The pad krapow comes with ground meat, as it should, and has that savory, spicy, fragrant flavor I look for. Mom's Sausage is incredibly flavorful and definitely worth ordering. The Pad Mama is another standout. It's a simple Thai comfort dish made with instant noodles, but they do it perfectly. And don't skip the mango sticky rice! The sticky rice was warm, soft, and pillowy, and the mango was perfectly ripe. Everyone here is super friendly too. The interior is cute, creative, and full of little details that show how much thought went into the place. They even play Thai country music in the background. One tip for first-timers: when you arrive, grab a menu from the check-in spot outside the restaurant, to the left of the dining area. Then head into the dining area and they'll seat you. You order through the QR code at your table and pay + tip when you place your order. Food is served in paper takeout containers. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm in Maui!

I know what tilapia costs versus pompano and if you're going to charge me $30 for fish, I would expect to get what I ordered. I messaged them through their social media since their phone doesn't work so hopefully they respond and do the right thing. We've been loyal customers and this isn't cool. Dinner takeouts are not cheap on island so when we splurge for the $30 fish, we hope to get just that.

But they basically just fried up some noodles real quick and threw it under. And that part wouldn't have been a problem for me, but it was honestly waaaay too salty (and I like really salty! so that says a lot to me) It was difficult to eat to be honest, but I of course didn't want to waste it. The seafood included 3 pieces of shrimp, about a stick of imitation crab meat, a couple small pieces of scallop, and A LOT of calamari pieces that were soooo tough to chew, we couldn't even really eat them! For the chicken lettuce, they gave us about 3 full pieces of lettuce that was cut up and then charged us $4.00 for more pieces of lettuce which is pretty pricey lol. The siu mai was mid.. but you get what you pay for. There was also a 3% additional kitchen surcharge which was weird...? Still not sure what that was for lol. The aunty that works there was so sweet and got me hoisin sauce and black pepper and told me to scoot my small table and chair to eat in the shade. I ordered a Mango Boba drink which reminded me of Guri Guri to be honest. (If you're visiting Maui and haven't had Guri Guri, go get yourself some asap!) I loved it. I usually get Honeydew but Mango was just as good! The Chicken Pho was delicious! They gave me a couple slices of jalapeños, bean sprouts, a small lemon wedge and a lot of Thai basil. I loved that yummy comforting broth with slices of white onions, green onions and shredded chicken. Perfect for Maui "winter weather" which is usually 60's-70's lol. If you're looking for a yummy Bahn Mi, I recommend the Chicken (or Tofu) Lemongrass sandwich on Crispy French bread or the Vermicelli noodles with Pork and Imperial Rolls.
