My son and I came came in last night for our mother, son date. We came in and had to put our name on the waitlist. Wish I would've known before, as I would've put our name on the list before leaving the house. The wait wasn't too long, maybe like 12-15 minutes. It was Saturday so I expected to have to wait a few minutes. Once we were sat, it didn't take long for a server to come over and ask us what we'd like to order. The server explained the menu and brought the drinks we ordered. We ordered brisket, bulgolgi beef, short ribs, pork belly, Korean fried chicken, Hwaro rice, baked mussels, and a noodle dish. Everything was really good. I'll have to be honest, you need to come to this place with someone who can really eat. My son tapped out after the first set of meat was cooked I could've eaten a little more With the AYCE they offer lots of appetizers and side dishes, wish I would've been able to enjoy a lot of those apps. I didn't take pictures due to us having a phone free dinner. There is free parking; however the lot isn't that big due to it being with lots of other businesses. I really hate having to write this review, but our experience was incredibly disappointing and honestly hurtful. My partner and I came in looking forward to a nice dinner. We were the only Latino couple in the restaurant, and from the start, we felt ignored. Our server barely checked on us. At one point, our grill was completely off and we had to wait until another server happened to notice and fix it. Our own server never came back to check on us. We also ran out of soda and were never offered refills. We ended up drinking water out of our dirty soda cups because no one came back to the table. We were not rude, we were patient, and we tried to give the benefit of the doubt but it became impossible not to notice the difference in how we were being treated. 50 minutes sitting down without being checked on even once. I actually had to step outside to the car because I was so overwhelmed that I started crying. We came in excited to enjoy a meal, and instead left feeling ignored and unwelcome. I even wrote on the receipt asking if there was a reason we were treated this way, because I genuinely don't understand what we did to deserve that level of service. I hope management takes this seriously. No one should leave a restaurant feeling the way we did. read more

What a low cost but fantastic cuts for the all you can eat Korean BBQ. Our server Ivy was quick with our order and gave us a great experience here. For $35 each we were highly satisfied with the brisket, tomahawk steak, harami, and intestines. Easy to join the Yelp waitlist prior to arriving to the restaurant. Received the text within committed time and was asked to be seated promptly. They give you an hour and 20min window to enjoy the deliciousness. We really enjoyed the sides and the proteins. Our favorite was the Tomahawk, brisket, thin pork belly just to name a few... it was all good. Service was efficient and pleasant. Can't wait to go back! Forgot to take food pics lollll but I came here last night after a long shift and everything was amazing. I remember last time, the service was ok, but, that didn't stop me from going here. I get off work pretty late so Hwaro is a good spot to eat at after getting off late night. I didn't order too much stuff but the thinly sliced pork belly, beef belly, brisket and beef tongue was good! A must with the salad especially to balance out the diet hahah. I had no idea how long they'd been sitting out -- even if they're cold dishes, they're not going to stay fresh. So, I asked the waitress to replace them with fresh ones. The T-bone steak was also too salty. The steamed egg was not tender! The Gyoza was deep fry not pan fry. As a BBQ restaurant, not having a range hood (smoke extractor) is a big disadvantage -- the air was quite smoky and uncomfortable. Service: We ordered a drink, but it was never brought to our table until we had to ask another server. No one came to check on us or clear the empty dishes. Love this location compared to Hwaro off of spring mountain, it is not so cramped to get in & out of the parking lot. Came here on a Monday night with my family 6 adults & 4 kids & we are frequent KBBQ eaters. The staff is nice, friendly & attentive. Our meats & food came out quick along with the picking up of dishes. We liked the fact that they leave their Hwaro sauce on the table instead of us having to ask for more at other places. The ambiance is typical, you definitely walk our smelling like KBBQ but we enjoy the decoration, bottles, trees & the music! They also do a quick little birthday Our favorites were brisket, beef belly (yum!) & the pork cheek. We also ordered, red wine pork belly, mussels, harami miso, beef tongue steamed eggs & a few appetizers. Every time I come to Hanu KBBQ, I have a great experience, but this visit really stood out. A huge part of that was our server, Jessica. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and checked on us just the right amount--always making sure our table was okay and that we had everything we needed. The menu selection is always so good, and while the wait can be a little long, it's absolutely worth it for the quality of the food and the level of service. My family's new FAVORITE Korean bbq spot in Vegas. We don't live in Vegas, but we visit often and regularly. This is going to be our go-to place from now on. Hwaro 2 is located a few steps from 888 Japanese grill and is an excellent alternative if the line at 888 gets ridiculous. It is definitely worth spending the extra $4 to get the premium options, which adds one order of marinated king kalbi, premium steak, and tomahawk steak per person. Banchan consisted of standard napa kimchi, cucumber kimchi, radish kimchi, fishcake, and potato salad. Service was good, they came by often to change out the dirty grill.
