Short version: Mediocre and overpriced. Cute interior and friendly staff. Long version: We got the chicken parm something combo or other and honestly the chicken was super slimy and the tater tots were lame. The texture of the pasta was good though and the bathroom was clean so I guess three stars it is.

Quick casual that is focused on cheese cheese cheese. The main focus is mac n cheese variations. They also do grilled cheese sandwiches and some flatbreads. The mac n cheese has good al dente pasta but the cheese options would be better with some sharp cheddar. It's all a little wimpy and child friendly. I had the Cubano and it was alright but not great. Tater tots were unevenly cooked and not deep fried goodness.

I saw an ad on instagram and of course had to try it. I love the vibe of the entire place and you can tell the staff like working here as well. I loved that besides Mac and cheese you can also get flat breads. We came with our kids and they devoured the food so it's a spot we will definitely come back to. Note that parking can be a little tricky. We were going to park in the lot next door but realized they do not have a pay by the hour option, only by day. But, we did get lucky and found a spot on the street.

Stopped by for lunch and I'm so glad I did! It wasn't busy, so my food came out super quick -- I literally went to wash up and it was ready when I came back. The place is clean, has both indoor and outdoor seating, and a nice vibe. I got the Chicken Parmesan pasta -- perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. Had water since I'm on lunch, but they've got beer too for next time! They do pizzas, pastas, and sandwiches -- you can pick from their menu or build your own. Can't wait to come back and try more!

I've been waiting for this place to open and finally stopped in. It was an off hour time so I received the full on customer service play book menu. These are the things I adore most about dining out!! This place offers it all in any Mac n cheese combo I could imagine. Also finding an imaginate way to serve the gluten free. My to go box was in the shape of a heart

I had to stop after the farmers market because I heard they had vegan options! They let me know they make their own vegan cheese which is pretty awesome! I added broccoli and jalapeño to mine but I was tempted to try their bowl that had beyond sausage. Next time! The staff was so kind and offered me water while I waited. The bowl was pretty tasty and hit the spot! The cheese was delicious. I'll be back to try some more !

Had 1 prior experience with a couple gal pals last year and enjoyed it so much that I knew I'd eventually bring Hubs to try himself....he's a Big Mac & Cheese fan. Well, last night was the night I suggested we go for Valentine's Day. A Friday night around 8pm, we walked in and were immediately greeted. No line but about 3-4 parties either eating in or waiting for their order. We took our time pursuing the menu, but mama already knew what she was having. It was Hubs that needed to figure things out. Seeing he was taking a bit of time, an employee behind the counter offered a printed menu (w/more details) to look at, which helped. Once a decision was made, we stepped up to the left order side and with a smile was asked what we'd like. After wishing the nice lady a Happy Valentine's Day, I quickly told her I wanted the $24 Lobster Mac & Cheese. She asked about making it a combo which added a side & drink and I happily agreed. Chose the Mac bites as the side, since we had initially contemplated them. Hubs opted to get a BYO grilled cheese. Was pleasantly surprised he could choose up to 4 cheeses, whoa!!! He decided on Swiss, cheddar, & mozzarella (perhaps they could've doubled on one? IDK but might ask next time). For his proteins, he got ground beef & bacon, no veg. We were then asked to pay at the register at the right and grab our drink cup. Guy there was so nice, offering a cup for water. I couldn't help but notice him wearing covering over his full grown-in beard, obviously aware of hygiene cleanliness, something I as a patron definitely appreciate! We got our fountain drink, Dr Pepper, then grabbed a small table near their decorative wall. As we sat waiting for our order, we continued looking over the extensive menu offerings, noticed a TV playing some sports highlights or some NBA game, as well as the seating which were about 5 tables and 4? hightop seats at the window. We also noticed the workers seemed to be related, so assume this is a well-run family-owned establishment. They ran the place like a well oiled machine, as many people steadily came in & out, for both in-eating and takeout. Knowing this spot is open till 11pm, it definitely makes for a great late night eats spot and is absolutely great for date nights. Vibe was nice & chill, and again great friendly service. Wait time to get our food was probably the only weak link in the whole experience, which was maybe 20-25min. But hey...good food takes time, especially when orders are nonstop coming in. I recall my first experience was the same on wait time. We didn't mind since we had no where to go, so don't come in a rush if planning to check this place out. We heard our name called, grabbed our meals, and (after mando pics: camera eats first! lol) dug in! I couldn't wait to try this lobster mac & cheese!! And it didn't disappoint, coming in a cute heart-shaped bowl! First, the cavatappi pasta is absolutely a favorite of mine, and this was cooked perfectly al dente! Creamy cheese sauce without being drenched in it, super big chunks of nicely cooked lobster, and a hint of green onion mixed in with a light bread crumb topping. It was DEE-licious! Thought it'd be too much to eat it all, but it was soo good I couldn't stop and ate the whole thing!! Mama can eat y'all! And I really liked that the creaminess never faltered, even through the very last bite! The Mac bites were also quite good, with an excellent outer crunch yet creamy inside. Dipping sauce wasn't actually needed, although they do got that good ranch! lol Hubs said he enjoyed his meal as well, but not being a fan of crispy cheese (he calls burnt, but tbh isn't), some of the edges were a bit 'overcooked' for him. Taking a bite, I actually enjoyed it. The side tots (which we didn't expect) weren't anything special, but that marinara sauce used for dipping was a nice surprise, being tomato-y and kinda like a slight creamy pasta sauce flavor. I'd have that on some pasta, for sure! Side note: they also have other menu items like flatbread and are vegan-friendly! I may just give a broccoli mac & cheese, or chicken flatbread a try next time, and don't miss out on the short rib protein option (I tried the first time) since it is quite good too! They got that pulled pork protein too!! All-in-all, this place 100% has my stamp of approval and I honestly wouldn't mind seeing an expansion location out in Roseville, which would be slightly closer for us to visit. Midtown definitely has a gem here! So give it a go should you ever have that late night craving or just want some good ol' comfort food with a side of great customer service! You can thank me later. *wink-wink* Happy eating!!

We were driving downtown on our way to Jets for a Beetlejuice-themed dinner before heading to the drive-in to watch the movie. Along the way, we noticed a new establishment and decided to stop in. We were not disappointed. The menu offered numerous options, which made choosing quite challenging. If I were to visit again, I would avoid pairing pesto with cheese on my mac and cheese with cauliflower, as it imparted an unusual flavor to me personally. On a positive note, the staff were exceptional--informative and genuinely pleasant. I value excellent service, and this team certainly delivered. We dined at a more expensive restaurant this evening, where my husband noted that while their mac and cheese was good, it didn't compare to what we had here! If you visit, I highly recommend trying the chicken with whatever selection you make. Oh and the broccoli side, both of which were delicious. For dessert, the marshmallow Rice Krispies treat was divine. The restaurant's ambiance was delightful, with beautifully designed interiors and a nostalgic music selection reminiscent of old iPod playlists. They also offer catering services. We look forward to returning. Pricing is so inexpensive and so much food!

1-27-25 Updating my review: The delivery time came & went without delivery or update, so I called. I spoke with Paul and he shared how busy they were which is understandable. I was reassured with a new time for delivery. Once the food arrived, I was pleased with the packaging to keep food hot and the included serving utensils & carton-type bowls to serve. Cookies were in a cup and tasted fresh and chewy. Mac & cheese with veggies and chicken was decent. I initially wasn't sure about the taste just based on visual.....but at the holiday gathering people expressed appreciation for the mac and cheese with veggies and chicken. I do recommend this restaurant.

Calling all the cheese lovers! This place was so amazing. The staff were really friendly and did a great job in assisting with recommendations. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. They have a variety of options to choose from. I got the classic mac and cheese and then I added bacon bits and scallions for more flavor. I also had to try their mac and cheese balls. They have the classic flavor as well but I got the ones with bacon and jalapeño. So delicious !!! This can fill you up very quickly so choose wisely. However, the very amazing thing is that you can take your left overs home and enjoy them at another time which is what I did.

So many fresh options to customize your Mac!

Grilled cheese, Mac n cheese, & tots, oh my! This is a casual dining spot, with a build your own Mac n cheese bowl. You can make lots of additions, such as veggies and proteins, and a variety of sauces, and of course: cheese. Or stick with some of the classics. They also offer grilled cheese and flat breads that can be personalized. And you can't have a grilled cheese without tomato soup! They even offer tots. Overall the food is a little in the steep side, and the quality is not super high, but this is a fun spot perfect for the lunch crowd. And the service was excellent. Very friendly, welcoming and gave great advice. Thank you!

But every time I visit Paesanos I get both of those things. On my most recent visit to the restaurant, I had the pleasure of being served by Clemens. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helped me find the perfect meal(Fettucine Arrositi) to fit my current dietary restrictions. He also helped my grandma find something on the menu that wouldn't be too carb heavy since she is diabetic. He was pleasant all around, he was patient with my grandma all night and made me feel like he truly valued our time and didn't rush us. He is everything you want in a server-kind,direct,knowledgeable, and dependable. I would come back any time just to get customer service like that. Now on to the food, I had the Fettucine Arrositi which I believe is their signature dish. I have had it before but this time it was especially delicious. The sauce has a flavor like no other pasta I've ever had it's rich but not too rich creamy but not too creamy and the thing that sets it apart from other creamy pastas is the subtle Cajun flavor. It tastes a bit like old bay and Tabasco to me with some other amazing things in it I'm sure but it was delicious 9/10 My grandma likes to order a lot of things for the table because she never got to have that so she ordered a bunch of things for herself to try and for me to finish. We had the meatballs and they were fantastic but she felt they were too big haha 9/10. Then we had the calamari which was my favorite of the appetizers we ordered. I'm hoping next time to try the polenta fries. Then for her main course my grandma had the wedge salad which she loved but she did mention she wished it had lots more bacon and I can't blame because I too always want more bacon on things. All in all it was a great experience and I will be back very soon.

One of my favorite carb load meals!…read more I always get a large broccoli and Sicilian cheese bread for an app and then mizithra for dinner with another side of the broccoli bc it's that amazing.. The Sicilian cheese bread with pesto sauce is everything. It felt a bit overcooked this time around. Lately I've been getting the garlic mizithra but with the bacon and mushrooms on the side. The mushrooms aren't my favorite as the flavor tends to overpower. The pasta meal comes with an ice cream - fun fact you can get caramel on the vanilla, and it's delicious. Service was great and we were sat in the middle of the restaurant. The noise level in the restaurant is always a bit loud so keep that in mind. There's plenty of parking in the lot and also the lot on the other side of the railroad tracks but I made the poor decision to park on the street and continued to have to feed the meter on the app. Total parking for a few hours ended up being over $15, when it coulda been free! Lesson learned.

We arrived around 4:45pm yesterday and unfortunately seats in the trolley were not available, but the hostess did sit us at a nice table in a corner. I love the old timey feel of the large dining area, which the high ceilings and vintage lighting - they also have a private room for events plus the trolley seating which I highly recommend to request to sit in at least once! They are also known for Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter Pasta which originated at their first location in Portland, Oregon in 1969. We started with the Cheesy Bread (added bacon) as an appetizer, followed by the Salad with Creamy Pesto Ranch, Minestrone Soup, Spinach and Cheese Ravioli, Chicken Parmesan and the Kids Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. We enjoyed everything for the most part - my one compliant was that the Chicken Parmesan was a bit a tough. We finished off our meal with the infamous Spumoni Ice Cream which is always my favorite part! Overall, it is not my favorite Italian restaurant, to be honest, my family actually enjoys Olive Garden a lot more, but it's nice to branch out periodically! I'm sure we'll be back again! Check them out if you've never been!

Not atonement but did have likable options. I had the ravioli of the day ( mine was stuffed with crab and shrimp with a white sauce 10/10 recommend. My husband got the 12 layer ravioli which was also very good 10/10. For appetizers we got the bread basket $5, beef tips $24, and fried calamari $18 all of it was good. There are so many delicious menu items I'd like to come here again and again. We shared a delicious appetizer and then indulged in our favorite Italian main dishes. The "Jeanne" martini was scrumptious. The wines were spot on. This evening it was a toss up between going to Grange or here, totally different experiences with equally delicious food; parking was easier here. The acoustics are a little loud, mostly because people' are enjoying themselves and chatting it up.

My friend and I came here on June 17th around 9:15 a.m. not going to lie we were captured by the…read moremultiple Instagram posts from different individuals we follow talking about how amazing the sandwiches were here and since we were in the area we told ourselves why not buy it now and we could have it for lunch later. So that's exactly what we did. For my sandwich I chose the Corti special. Basically you're able to choose your bread the toppings and some of the other condiments but you are not able to choose your mean. The person making your sandwich decides what they're going to put in it based on the different toppings and condiments you add to your sandwich. I will say that the service was quite quick there were four other people ahead of me and I will say I probably got my sandwich within 7 to 9 minutes. This was perfect time for me because I had never been to this specialty store before so I took that time to browse the area and the different aisles to understand what were some of the things sold there. I will say the space was surprisingly filled with items that were extremely high quality but reasonably priced. Also all the individuals working there were quite friendly they said hi and asked if I needed any help or assistance multiple times from different people. Now the sandwich itself I will say it did live up to the hype that was being tossed around all of Instagram. It was just so high quality when it came to the ingredients the bread was super fresh and each bite just had the perfect balance of meat to bread to condiment ratio. I highly recommend coming to try one of these sandwiches and one thing I didn't say earlier was at 9:00 a.m. it is not that packed so you definitely can get it early and again have it for your lunch later on.

The deli sandwiches is where it's at though, and there's always a long line. The sandwiches are so loaded! You get the order sheet to the left side of the deli and put your form in the basket. Then walk around the store and pick up delicious cheeses, charcuterie meats, snacks, and fresh pasta. Their ravioli is pretty famous and reminds me of an upgraded version of the nostalgic soft, square beef raviolis that I grew up eating. If you don't want to commit to the entire box of take-home ravioli, you can buy it by smaller tubs from the deli. After 20-30 mins, your sandwich should be ready for pickup. The workers there are so friendly and provide great service. They genuinely seem to like their jobs. We got one guy helping us out from one end of the deli to the other end and he was so patient and happy the entire time. There was a sweet lady handing out cheese samples as well. Everything I tried was so delicious. I especially loved how thin they slice the charcuterie meats where they are translucent when held up to the light. Can't wait to go back for their fresh pastas and homemade sauces.
