I didn't hear a lot about this place, I knew it existed but never got around to eating there until now. The place did not have a whole lot of oriental design, there was a sort of modern style to it. The menu looked pretty appetizing, I ordered the Nigiri Deluxe and my wife ordered the shrimp tempura which she later told the waitress that she wanted sushi that was not raw. They gratefully took back the meal and did not charge us for it. My nigiri was pretty good, my wife later ordered a hot roll which she really enjoyed and they gave her plenty of food. The Miso soup that came with the meal was not the best. I had hoped my Nigiri would be a little bit bigger, they were kinda small for what I have had in the past. The Sapporo beer on tap was pretty good. I would come back to try another meal to see if it is better. read more

The service at I Love Sushi was phenomenal. Very friendly and accommodating. Our food was also ready in a very reasonable amount of time as well. My only issue is that despite the overall deliciousness of the raw sushi rolls, they skimped a bit on the pieces of fish that rests atop the sushi itself. I didn't try the any of the "fully cooked" options but I can only assume that they would be delectable as well. read more

I came here late on a Monday night when going through Fresno on work. I had the Rolls Royce, Ronald Reagan, and the Elvis rolls. All three were outstanding. I loved the casual, friendly atmosphere. My dinner date and I took advantage of the Monday night beer special: $3 24ounce beer (as they call it; "homie ghetto style" served in a brown bag). The price were extremely reasonable. The staff were great and very cheerful. The food service was fast. Such a fun, casual place and seriously delicious food! I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town. read more

A bit expensive compared to your average sushi place, but it's worth it. They have a variety of price points also for the small eaters. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and they don't mind suggesting food if you're overwhelmed by their large array of foods. The menu is great and they even have some humorous happy hour specials. Excellent sushi! We stopped in and decided to try it out because of the reviews on yelp. The sushi was excellent. Fresh, and delicious! The service was great. It was my husbands first time ever trying sushi. He was surprised on how good sushi taste. The rolls were big and very filling. My daughter always orders California rolls (she's 10) and I tried one of her rolls and to my surprise it was so yummy! I'm not a big fan of those rolls but for some reason this roll was delicious. Everything was good! If I happen to be passing through again I will definitely stop by & enjoy some yummy sushi. read more

I am a "simple" sushi lover as are many people. dont get me wrong i do like this place but the menu is confusing, its VERY loud and the waitresses are smug. Okay so this used to be one of my favorite places. Food always amazing, service great, the whole Shabang. Last night me and some friends came to eat & had to wait until our entire party got there to eat... which is fine, a little strange when we had 5 of the 7 for most of the time. If the other 2 came later they wouldn't have been allowed to sit with us. Which as a person who has worked in restaurants, I think that's ridiculous. When the whole party got there we were seated immediately. Nobody let us know that the menu was on the centerpiece. So we all kinda sat there clueless for a while. I don't remember the waitress's name, she was okay. She wasn't completely attentive and bragged about her laziness.. which was strange considering she wasn't the most attentive. The food took what felt like forever to come out. We did have 7 people with about 2 items each, but there was no update on when it'd come out or anything. Just a long wait and some wondering. After I left me and a couple others had a rough time. My stomach was tore up. Still is this morning actually. I was up all night and puking. I had plans to drink after (I know, horrible mix) but never got around to it because I felt so bad already. Be better guys, this is embarrassing. read more

This place is our go to sushi place. We tend to go earlier in the evening because if not it gets fairly busy. There sushi is fresh with a variety of raw, non raw, etc. Presentation is good as is the service. I use to love this place. But we came in with my 4yr old autistic daughter whom is very picky and will not eat the food here. She had a piece of pizza wrapped in a napkin. They took our order then the manager came to our table to tell us we had to take my daughter out side to eat. No outside food was allowed , I explained that she is special needs and they we dont go out often do her special needs if you could please make an exception because we did already order and they had already brought our drinks and appetizers. He said no she had to go eat her pizza outside . Its very upsetting that they actually had us take her outside to eat. The manager had no compassion or anything even after they seen I had tears from being so upset. The waitress apologized and said she understood my frustration but unfortunately it was up tonthe manager. We will not be come back her again!!! read more

After being recommended this place by so many people, I was a little disappointed. While they do have a wide variety of choices, I'm one that enjoys a nice plate of sashimi therefore the quality of fish has to be some of the best. While it wasn't the worst I've had (Japanese kitchen) it def wasn't the best. The fish was a little chewy as opposed to melting in your mouth like a higher quality fish does. And my spicy tuna hand roll was very thin. Overall I suppose if you're not too picky and prefer the cooked sushi this is a good pick but for me I prefer to go somewhere with a more fresh selection. read more

Definitely the best sushi you can find in town in my opinion. Their sushi is on spot. You get good amount of pieces for the price you pay. The best part is... you actually get more than 6 pieces of sushi!!!! Most other sushi restaurants offer so little, so you're never satisfied. If you haven't eaten here then try it out.
