I order take out from here at least 3 times per week and the food is consistently great. I typically order the chicken and prawn teriyaki with white rice. It comes with generous portions of chicken and usually I eat the leftovers for breakfast. A small salad and a fortune cookie are included. I like this place quite a bit. I usually get the spicy chicken with veggies which is definitely pretty spicy, and has fresh veggies and pretty nice tasting chicken. It usually lasts me for two lunches and I can definitely pack away some teriyaki. I've also had the gyoza which are cooked very well - crunchy and just a bit greasy on the outside and the meat is nicely spiced inside. The folks working here are friendly and always seem glad to see their repeat customers. Food comes out fast. The restaurant looks like its an old converted KFC or another chain restaurant. It has a tiny parking lot that fills up fast around lunch and a line that stretches to the door. Despite the busyness they are very quick to take orders and keep the line moving. Some dishes take longer than others - like the shrimp - but they're always hot, fresh, and tasty! To be honest I was wavering between three and four stars because I think my local Nasai Teriyaki in Redmond does a slightly better job on the gyoza and has free Miso soup. Gyoza was more like deep fried than the pan fried that I prefer, so for me it was a bit dry and too crispy. One of the best in south Seattle. This place gets it right. Definitely in my top ten and if you've read my reviews, you know I'm a connoisseur. Every item that I've ever ordered here comes out hot, fresh and quick. The teriyaki sauce is delectable as well is the salad dressing. Fast friendly service and they open early too. The only downside is parking. The lot is small and situated on the corners of 4th and Michigan so be careful. They have a self serve table of you want water or tea and they keep the place clean. The beef was so tender and flavorful. The chicken tasted like it just came off the grill. It was smoky, tender and juicy. The sticky rice was great even by itself! The egg rolls were so tasty.
