Do it as good as the ichi in brush prairie by Winco. Portions are much smaller. Not as many veggies in it and not as much chicken in it. I am not too sure what the deal is but it had not teriyaki sauce to it at all. I had drowned it with my own teriyaki myself before I left the place. The place was empty all besides the nice lady at the counter and the man and woman in the back feverishly eating their lunch in the kitchen. I've had worse, but I've also had better. Ichi Teriyaki 17 is a lackluster version of Ichi Teriyaki 23. The gyoza is typical as well as the teriyaki chicken, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The egg flower soup is an odd mix of mushy cabbage, potato, egg and carrots. Unlike Ichi 23, at Ichi 17 you don't get the open of macaroni salad or regular salad and you have to pay an extra $2.50 to switch to fried rice, which is free at Ichi 23. Speaking of their fried rice, it's a low class "fried rice" with a hint of egg here and there, and what seems to be a bag of mixed frozen veggies mixed in with it. My advice, skip Ichi 17 and head straight to Ichi 23, that's where I'll be from now on. read more

This place is ok, I love the flavor of the teriyaki chicken, but if you advertise "yakasoba" noodles, you can't substitute them with a top ramen type replacement. It's like selling fettuccini and serving angel hair. The lady was rude when this was brought up. Also my pet peeves if you ask here or to go, but always make it to go it makes your customer feel unwelcome. Message received. read more

I definitely recommend this place if your in the neighborhood. If your looking for good food priced well for the portions they give, this is the place. The restaurant is also very clean and organized and the owners are very friendly. Their menu expands also outside of teriyaki with BBQ ribs and spicy meat dishes. I had the chicken teriyaki BBQ rib combo and was very satisfied. I also tried their spicy chicken teriyaki which was also very good. Overall, you will be glad you stopped by! read more

Pretty good beef teriyaki! They seem to use a very sweet teriyaki sauce, which I enjoy. Sometimes, however, the beef has the coagulated protein liquid stuff that oozes out when cooking it. Yes I know that's common for beef to do that when cooked but it taste nasty when it's combined with sweet teriyaki sauce. The rice however is very good and the salad is nice and fresh. The portions are quite large too. It doesn't happen all the time with the beef so I'm only removing a star for that. Everything else is great. The customer service is awesome and the lady at checkout is so sweet and so gorgeous! I recommend going here for dinner as lunch is pretty busy. The place is small but not to bad. Tasty teriyaki in Battle Ground! Located in the shopping center near Safeway, it's not the classiest restaurant ever, but nothing wrong with it either. It's clean and spacious, and there's lots of parking. I felt that the prices were a bit on the higher side, but the portions are generous, and you get real plates, and metal utensils for the haoles to eat with (those cheap break-your-own wooden chopsticks for the rest of us). Sevy, or Teavy, front end waitress with her hair slicked back had HORRIBLE service. Walked in with family, party of 4 at 8:31, and she communicated that it's take out only and dine in ended at 8:30. This lady had NO customer service skills and wouldn't make any eye contact what so ever. Upon asking who the owner of the restaurant is, she said "can't be mad at me hunnie". Pathetic. Standard teriyaki food where you can get an affordable meal and fill you up. A lot of seating and basic clean place. Chicken teriyaki is served with rice and salad. You get a nice big plate and good hefty portions. When you eat in, your meal comes with soup as well. Service is friendly and nice people. It is average pricing for the area and for what you get. Variety of protein to choose from as well as other Asian dishes. It is a good place for a easy teriyaki meal that you can't complain about. read more

Piece of advice: lessen the portion size, substitute some vegetables for all of that average rice, lower the price a couple bucks and you will make the three star club. 4 or 5 stars needs some work. read more

Several things went into the one star review. First, while we were looking over the menu, we asked if they had a kids menu/meals, the lady laughed and replied no. Our order came to nearly $50 because we had to order 4 full meals and the drinks were over $8 alone. They charge for refills. When we got our meals they were very basic. In fact, there wasn't even dressing on the salads. Just soaking wet lettuce. This is by far the worst of the Ichi's we have ever been too. They have a lot to improve on!!!! read more

There are a few of the Ichi teriyaki locations around, I would say all are pretty consistent and quite good. Lots of good options compared to other teriyaki locations and the food comes out quick after you order. I enjoyed the Battle Ground location because it is a good spot to grab some food and take to one of the parks in Battle Ground for a picnic. read more

As I noted in an update we stopped by and picked up two to-go orders to try again. Both were beef (one teriyaki and the other yakasoba). As noted the quantities were small and you got some white rice with each order a a small green side salad (lettuce only). The beef was stringy and chewey which tells us that they are using low quality meat to cut costs/maximize profit. If the quantities are small but the taste and quality are good we can overlook shortcomings. However, given that the two meals were $15+ (together), the taste was mediocre and the quality poor we can't justify recommending this specific location. Save your money and try somewhere else. read more

It's really good teriyaki but SUPER expensive. We always get shrimp and chicken yakisoba and it's 14.50 I believe. And not as much food as they used to have. That just seems like a lot for maybe half a piece of chicken and a few shrimp and noodles. Just wish prices were a little better would eat there at least once a week. read more
