I don't leave reviews that often, but Gene definitely deserves one. I recently upgraded my iPhone X to the 12 Mini as part of a promotional offer that Verizon was offering, but it required me to trade in my X for credit. Only one problem, my back screen was cracked. AFFORDABLE & QUICK awesome service! That's what I look for when there's an issue with my phone. I called Apple Care to see if they could fix my iPhone 5c and they said it's out of warranty so it was going to cost me $120-$250 depending on further inspection. I dropped my phone and the screen was black and wouldn't turn on. I tried to turn to YouTube so I wouldn't have to pay at all & turned out it couldn't be self fixed. So I yelped and found this place. Gene is as legit as it gets. I went in & showed him my phone & he said it was going to be $55 which is a pretty good price. So I had him fix it. He's being doing this for 7 years and is used to all types of phones and devices. It literally took less than 30 minutes for him to fix. He said that he had to do a little bit more for my phone but still kept the $55 amount he originally told me. Overall I would definitely come here and recommend this guy to get your phones fixed. Gene went out of his way to help us on a Sunday because we needed an urgent repair. It turned out to be a manufacturing issue so we weren't able to resolve the issue right then and there but Gene was very helpful in informing us about our phone's warranty and what the best next steps would be. He explained things very clearly and simply so it was easy to follow what his process was while he was running diagnostics and attempting to fix the problem. I went in to get my iPhone screen repaired at around 2:40pm. The guy told me to give him about 30 min so I ran some errands and came back around 3:15. My phone was ready and good as new! I paid $84 for the screen repair and was about to pay $10 for the tempered glass screen protector, when the guy told me I could have it for free bc there was a tiny air bubble underneath--sweet!!! I will update this post if any problems occur. Okay, so UPDATE: my phone has been glitching like a mofo. I'm pretty sure my screen was repaired wrong or genuine OEM parts were not used. VERY disappointed. I wish I paid a little more and went somewhere else. Sigh :( read more

Wow I'm a little late with this review but Gene is amazing and professional. I brought in my LG V60 back in May to replace the simcard reader (which I damaged) knowing that at the time it would be difficult to find the replacement part because the phone was fairly new at the time and because of the current pandemic. I reached out to other smartphone repair shops on Yelp and they wouldn't give me a definite answer if they would be able to get the simcard reader replaced. Gene was confident when he replied back to me and I felt good about it because the other shops were giving me the run around. Gene was honest with me from the beginning and told me it would take a couple months if I was lucky enough to even find the replacement part. I tried checking third party vendors for the replacement part to no availability. Low and behold, Gene was able to work his magic and obtained the part and was able to replace it on my LG V60. It took some patience, but overall Gene got the job done! His price is fair for the damage that I did and I recommend anyone going to him for repairs.. The man knows his stuffs.. Browsed for places locally that can repair 2 apple watches. Gene was one that responded that he can take a look at my watches. He found Apple Watch 3 needed a new battery. Apple watch 2 battery is able to charge outside of the watch, deeming the charging unit in the watch defective. Recommended to just buy a new one rather than waste money repairing this one. HONESTY - THATS WHY I GO HERE I've been to Gene 3 times for both Android & iOS devices. He's always given me a fair price. In one instance, I had VERY heavy water damage on an iPad including a fried motherboard. He informed me that he could fix it for a certain price - but for slightly more, I could get a new iPad at an Apple Store based on the going rate of Apple's "Out-of-warranty fee" [for fixing/replacing damaged iPads].
