My companions and I were headed to the airport for an early morning flight from California to Florida, leaving at around 6:00 am. Before arriving at the airport, we decided to grab some breakfast. We searched for breakfast restaurants near the airport and discovered that IHOP was nearby. My companions and I opted to have breakfast at IHOP. Upon our arrival, we promptly notified our server, Jennyffer, that we were short on time as we had a flight to catch. She was gracious enough to accommodate our request and promptly took our orders. We ordered black coffee, hash browns, a chicken fajita omelet, and a Mexican tres leches pancake for breakfast. Our server promptly brought us our food. The black coffee was a perfect way to begin our day. We thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Fajita Omelette, as it was packed with flavor and had delicious chicken and stuffing. The pancakes and hash browns we had alongside the omelet were a perfect complement to our breakfast. Overall, it was a delicious and satisfying meal. Absolute worst dining experience ever--like, the Twilight Zone of pancakes. First off, servers here are like Bigfoot--rumored to exist, but you'll never actually see one. I had to practically hunt down the cashier to get service, and I'm pretty sure I aged a year waiting. When they finally showed up, I half-expected them to say, 'Sorry, we forgot you were here.' Now, let's talk pancakes. $20 for four pancakes? That's not a meal, that's a scam. These pancakes better be blessed by the breakfast gods at that price, but nope--they're just regular, overpriced discs of disappointment. And, guess what? No combo either. Want some eggs? That'll cost you another arm and a leg. Oh, and the parking! It's like a video game set on 'impossible' mode. There's one way in and one way out, and good luck with that. If you don't want to perform a 12-point turn or play bumper cars with other frustrated customers, bring a bike--or better yet, don't come at all. I'm pretty sure my car lost a few years off its life just trying to leave. The cherry on top? When they bring you the bill, they circle the tip section like it's some kind of mandatory donation. I mean, they don't circle the service section because there wasn't any, but they are *very* clear on wanting that tip. In summary: overpriced pancakes, invisible servers, a parking lot designed by someone who hates drivers, and a bill presentation that makes you feel like you're being robbed in broad daylight. Stopped in for a morning bite after a Disneyland hangover (figuratively). They launched a new menu just two weeks ago and it is AMAZING!!!! All of the dishes look so absolutely delicious, which made me a bit excited for a new IHOP experience. The new menu also comes with a significant price increase. The pancake combo was $20 and includes2 pancakes, 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon or sausage. But be not fooled, IHOP is IHOP is IHOP. The menu will fool you, but when your dish arrives, reality truly sets in. Oh, and let me not forgot to mention the plastic break clip that was found on our plate, just under the sandwich. read more

There was no wait so that was great. However the service left a lot to be desired. Right now we are contemplating walking out and seeing if anyone actually notices. The staff is apparently having a party. Literally... the food was ok except the eggs were not cooked. My child only eats butter on her pancakes. We've been trying to flag down someone in waitstaff for 30 minutes just to get some butter. I get most of the people that come to this location are tourist, but we actually live in the neighborhood. I definitely recommend this location due to its CLEANLINESS and for some reason their food taste so FRESH and you wont even second guess having your lips touch the coffee mug, its that CLEAN. The meat on my omelette is so flavorful Pancake taste so AWESOME Mostly the SERVICE is so good i didn't want to get up and leave, JUAN did a great job. Also, the restroom is clean and well kept. COVID19: OPEN for business! Are you ready?!!! This place is open for DINE-IN (25% capacity). There were customers dining inside. But, we still chose to dine in the patio. After a long day of my wife giving COVID vaccines it was a much welcomed surprise. Our server, JOHN, was so welcoming and so ready to get customers back in for business. I wish I had a review, but we never got our food. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to greet us, a 'manager' came by and got our drink and food orders. A table who came in after us had already been helped and ordered. We stayed none the less thinking that now that the manager knows we were waiting they'll make sure our food comes out quickly....NOPE. We waited another 20 minutes and then left. I told the manager on the way out and NO APOLOGIES, he said thanks for coming. We came to IHOP because we already knew that they are usually great with kids and toddlers. We did not realize how great this place would be as far as their food and Customer Service. The food was hot and fresh for all three of us and they were more than happy to accommodate all of our Additional requests like extra eggs in a white omelette and broccoli our server was Ana, and she was very thoughtful and made sure everything that we wanted was perfect. We even got to take hilarious photos with Ivan who was walking around with a camera. Very rarely do we get to get our family picture taken especially so funny. Everything inside was clean and you could tell that everyone was on top of making sure it was a pleasant experience from entry to exit. This is a solid and cheap option to grab breakfast if you're staying in the area or if you want to save money prior to heading into the parks. I've gone here a few times during my stays for Disneyland trips. It's a typical IHOP, but man, are they a well oiled machine. We had a wait since we were there in March (peak Spring Break week). We were told it would be about 10 mins. It did end up being longer, but as soon as we got sat, I could tell their goal was to hurry up and get us our food ASAP so they could make room for the next table. They were efficient but didn't do it in a way that made you feel rushed. Our waitress was extremely fast and efficient. As soon as you'd order something, she'd fire off all of the typical questions (any butter, whipped cream, fruit toppings? etc etc). I got scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and the cupcake pancakes. I devoured all of it. Yum! Although I prefer Carnation Cafe at Disneyland (where we went the day prior), this is a cheap option and you get much more food for your money. Also, they did have a lady walking around making balloon animals for kids while we were there. We didn't have any kids with us, but it was fun watching the kids at other booths light up when they saw the lady making their balloon animals. We went to an early breakfast about 8 AM ish. As you know this is the location next to Disneyland, so be prepared to wait. We did not have a wait time and got seated right away. We sat out by the back patio and it was nice with the warm heaters. I ordered the Sirloin steak and eggs and my wife ordered the french toast meal. Our water, orange juice and coffee came out fairly quick. Our food did not disappoint as they were well prepared. Our server was attentive and made sure we had a great meal. The mozzarella sticks were a bit burnt, but we still ate them! The reason for my 1 star off is because although your prices say one thing on the menu, it reflected different on the bill. We had a really great experience the day after two very long days at Disney. Our server, Kayla, was friendly, engaging with both my kids and myself. We were getting ready to drive back home to Sacramento and she made our experience a good one before the very long drive. Our meal was delicious, I got the bacon bourbon jam eggs Benedict - it was absolutely amazing. The service was great but the food... just wow. Ihop has gone down hill. The plates are a minimum of $16-$18 starting price. The eggs were not fresh made like they used to be. the eggs at IHOP were one of the things I used to look forward to and avoid Denny's. I got the pancake combo. The only thing good was the pancake. The eggs were dense and seem to have been sitting on the steamer for a long time. What happened to the fluffy eggs they used to serve that were hot and fresh? At that price and that quality just go to Denny's. The sausage was hard and cold. They served five dollar coffees on top of the $17 combos l, a bit ridiculous for the quality of the food.
