Without the location this IHOP would be out of business. I've been here multiple times as it's the closest one and I've never had good service. The food has always been good however so I'll give it 2 stars instead of one. Be prepared to wait - wait to be seated, wait to be seen, wait for food, wait for refills, wait for your check. It has nothing to do with how busy they are either. I've had servers, bussers, and even managers walk by and ignore that every table has empty drinks sitting on the edge of their tables for the entire meal. If it was an isolated incident or only when they were busy I wouldn't trouble myself with the review. Unfortunately it's quite deliberate. read more

The food was fine, just what you'd expect from IHOP. But it took me longer to pay for my meal than it took for me to eat it. I split the bill with a friend and it took the guy at the counter, who was obviously new, around 15 min to figure everything out. What was especially annoying was how, even though it was taking forever, he spent sweet time stamping my receipt with a reminder to leave a review on Yelp. Not sure this is what IHOP had in mind. Service is very good and friendly. They try hard because the food is only so-so, even for an IHOP. Being right across the street from Disneyland's main entrance should suggest much higher quality than you find in the Harbor Blvd strip. I suspect that the economic center of Disneyland (outside of the 2 parks themselves) has moved to Downtown Disney. This was long Walt's goal to totally dominate the economy/profit of the theme park, which he was not able to do in Anaheim - so he went to Orlando. It seems that Disney may have finally succeeded in Anaheim, but the downside is the hanger-on outside the DL/CA/DD boundaries are like a poverty-stricken neighborhood. I wish we had at least checked out Downtown Disney rather than assuming all their stores would be too upscale. It's unfortunate that IHOP does not provide a better value for this location. read more

We waited five minutes after we sat down to get our drink order, and our food order took over 30 minutes to arrive. The folks who sat down 20 minutes after we ordered received their food just as we got our order, We saw the manager several times, walking the aisles, but he was moving so quickly we couldn't get his attention. When the meal arrived, some of our food was hot, and some of it was barely lukewarm. A side of bacon was missing. We asked a different server, who was nearby, and she curtly replied she would tell our server! That angered me. Finally, our check didn't arrive until nearly 30 minutes later. We chose this IHOP over the one on 1560 S. Harbor because this parking lot is bigger and easier to get in and out of. Now we know why. Very disappointing. read more

Good place to eat after rush hour. The Restaurant is right in the middle of Disneyland area and it can be overwhelmed at times. We wait 15 minutes before getting drinks, but manager got on top of it as soon as he find out. I was surprised how fast food got to the table and everything was delicious. Worst freakin place ever! The first time we went my family and I didn't get what we wanted because they didn't give us what we ordered and it was like pulling teeth from them when we argued with the server that what he brought to our table was t anywhere near what we had ordered. Needless to say we finally got what we ordered like an hr later! We were so over it by then we just took our food to go. Then we decided to order thru door dash to avoid the bad service and we still got the same bad service anyway! And they tried to blame the door dash employee for their fuck up. Horrible horrible horrible! The food was half raw all placed into the smallest packaging containers ever! Thanks for the horrible quality of food horrible service and disgusting way of running the business. Think twice before you go. FYI they have a bunch of lizards running around outside and inside. So much better than expected. We had dinner here when we stayed at Sheraton across the street. Even though we are from LA, we stayed overnight at Sheraton for the Disneyland Marathon the next day. My daughter loved her pasta and best of all after 4 pm all kids eat free. So I ended up paying just for my food. Staff is friendly and place was only 30 % full around 7:30 PM. Prices were not listed on the kids menu. My 4yr old daughter ordered a smiley face pancake. It was $8.99. Total bill was $99 for 6 people. We sometimes eat at this IHOP when we stay at the nearby hotels. For the record, we ONLY eat here when we have gift cards. I have three small kids, and IHOP is, by far, one of the most expensive casual dining restaurants to take them to in the Disneyland area. The food is fine; plates were cleared and everyone was full. But the prices seem to be inflated to cover the cost of the "Free Kids's Meal with Adult Meal" promotion. My husband and I got coffee, we ordered no appetizers or desserts, and we each ordered a meal (3 kids meals and two adult meals, nothing fancy). Even after taking off two of the kids meals, the total was $50 (it was $70 prior to that). The price of the coffee and the kids' meals seemed super high, especially compared to places like Red Robin and Chilis, which has more options. We had free gift cards from using credit card points, so it was fine, but completely not worth it without that. If you are staying at the nearby hotels, the location is great, and it's never been crowded. The service is also very good, and everything comes to the table quickly and correct. I just can't get past the price. read more

Apparently the chefs forgot to put my Stuffed French toast in the microwave as it was cold and my brothers food was barely warm and gummy.
