We were seated pretty quickly. The Diet Coke was so heavy on syrup it tasted almost bitter. The food was good. The hash browns could have been crunchier but they tasted good. The four of us substituted turkey bacon for regular bacon on our meals. When we got the check there was a $2.99 substitution charge added to each meal. The menu didn't say they would charge it and the waiter did not tell us. Which was the real problem. It turned a $65 meal into a $79 meal. Which would have been fine if we knew we were choosing that. This will be my last time coming to this IHOP, my family and I where here last night around 8ish, the server was super nice and friendly but the food well we got food poisoning, it was weird how fast our food came out too. This place is disgustingly dirty. It smells bad when you open the door coming in. The restrooms are dirty the floors in the dinning room are sticky and full of left over food from the tables. The tables are sticky from who knows what was dropped there. This place needs some serious cleaning I just wonder how the food is prepared. Don't come to this place it's dirty. read more

Terrible service, rude staff! First burnt our pancakes, then replaced them with pancakes that were still raw in the middle. Never offered to refill my drink even though it sat on the table empty for a long time. Then when paying with debit card, asked if I had cash and I said no so they scuffed at me while snatching up my card. Will not ever be returning to this location. read more

Walking in I got greeted by a really nice Asian lady she got my family signed in told me it would be a 15 min wait, it was actually quicker than that. Ok I am not a difficult person to please, I'm in service business as well so I understand the "Karen's" and how hard it can be to please picky people. Came for brunch with son, not super busy, was seated right away awesome. Order Simple bacon burger plain with ketchup and cheese for the kid, and a eggs hashbrown and bacon breakfast with side of strawberry cheesecake pancakes. Now the food came out in 3 min flat, I was surprised it was so fast, but the whole order was wrong, including missing pancakes all together. I summoned our waitress and asked for mistakes to be fixed, totally understandable the first time, she brought back plain pancakes, i then realized the whole problem was the waitress didn't speak any English. I am not down on foreigners and the language barrier, however I don't believe they should be working front line until they can clearly communicate. The worst part is by this time I have asked for manager to explain and she proceeded to still bring me the wrong pancakes. Finally I received the correct ones, and they taste nothing like strawberry cheesecake. They should work on their recipes, and offered some sort of discount, not asking for anything for free, but a discount would have been appreciated. Fine, I may not be the most interesting woman in the world, but I know me a good stack of pancakes, a carafe of coffee and a fabulous staff when I eat/drink/see them (,respectively - I swear I didn't eat the staff). A group of San Francisco friends and I were on a SoCal road trip and decided to pop in for a quick bite. I actually protested because I've been to an IHOP or two in my day, and generally, I'm not a huge fan. Clean and tidy for an IHOP. At the same time it has a very intimate feel, not so sprawling and big box feeling. Great IHOP!

Been here a few times since we live close by. Weekends get real bust but they are always nice and friendly. I love the pumpkin pancakes and I love there omelettes. So this is strictly about cost. We were visiting Disney and thought instead of paying their prices we would leave the park for dinner. It was 8pm on 10/10/2016. There was no wait, we were seated, we order. There are 6 of us- 3 kids, 3 adults, kids eat free after 4 pm. We all order one meal and a drink. Our food comes at a reasonable time. Then the check..$101!!!! I almost have a heart attack. Then I realized they will take the 3 kids meals off after. even after that it was still $70. when we questioned why the pumpkin pancakes had their price and then another $15.99 after that they told us its because they charge extra for pumpkin. Making them about $27 for: two pumpkin pancakes, eggs and hash browns. 1) that's ridiculous, it wasn't stated in the menu or when they were physically ordered. 2) $15 EXTRA dollars?? Then they acted like they were doing us a favor by waiving the fee "this one time" but still the one meal was $16 because they didn't waive the whole thing. I never realized how pricey it was and I feel that given their location they are ripping people off. Will not be back read more

I give this 4 stars for fabulous service. Very apparent that the staff is well trained. Our server, Jessica was extremely friendly, attentive and knew the menu. Restaurant was clean. Food quality was fair (for me), but to be expected for an IHOP. Way too much sodium for my taste. But for the sodium, the hash browns were crispy on the outside and cooked well on the inside. My over medium eggs were perfectly cooked. When we left the restaurant, the manager asked us about our meal. I chose this IHOP over the IHOP closer to Disneyland because of it's reviews on Yelp. If you are looking for breakfast at an IHOP after spending the day at the park, I think it's worth the 5 mile drive. read more

It's an IHOP. But I don't go here because it's an IHOP. This IHOP is different. It's an Anaheim institution. A meeting place for friends and families. It feels more like that hometown diner you grew up with than the cookie-cutter chain restaurant breakfast spot. Sure, I could go to an IHOP in any city, and in fact, I'd probably have several to choose from. But I don't. I go to this IHOP and only this IHOP, because I grew up with it, and the service is just so damn great. Having hardly any customers they sat a group with children next to us a family of 6. I felt crapped and I didn't like the service. They didn't give me a straw and took them over 30 mins to give my husband his coffee and that's only cuz we had to ask her for it again then when asked for refill they gave us the wrong drink which just so happened to be what the people next to us were drinking. They showed better service to the people next us and they didn't come around to ask us if we needed anything till after we were almost done eating. My food was cold when first handed to me and I took the tip my husband left all but one dollar. They didn't even deserve a dollar. Waitress was too busy talking to co workers instead of making sure we had all we needed. I don't plan on going back to that particular ihop ever again and unless u want to wait 20 mins for ur order and receive cold food and clumpy gravy and have to ask for ur coffee after food had been served I don't recommend going there. Out of all the Ihops I have gone to, this IHOP was a shame for offering what customers come in for... PANCAKES! The pancakes were seared ( apparently too hot of a griddle) and mushy inside. The Manager came by and enquired about our meal experience. We mentioned how the pancake was not cooked correctly. She said it was because of the "humidity". Seriously, it's dumb to critique the food at a restaurant chain because tastes the same 99% of the time... In any case, my review is for the staff. The reason why am rating this IHOP 1 star is because It was a sunday afternoon (1:13 pm) wasnt busy received my food within 40 min long and in between those 40 min 2 other ppl got their food first then us my conversation with the manager 1) I only seen my waitres 3 times (got my drinks and got my order placed late & 2 girls got their food 1st then us..when they arrived 10 min later after us..waited 40min for my food..in between those 40 min our waitress asked me that my plate comes with pancakes or a soup.. so I had chosen pancakes with a topping.. never did she tell me there will be a extra charge.. 2) I only got 2 selvawear and we were a party of 4 or napkins 3) never did we got asked if we wanted refills or if we were ok or needed anything else.. my 7 year old even noticed that. WOW A 7 YEAR OLD..and he was the reason why we went .. so I can Please him with his cravings (the green pancakes & green hot coco) 4) manger didnt even look at me in the eyes..he didn't apologize but to say let me talk to your server and I'll be back but i did mention that I was being charged for pancakes that never arrived at my table..asked if I wanted them.. i replied (nope and said I'll wait for you in the front).. he sent the receive with another waitress and she apologized.. witch she didn't have to.. but do appreciate it.. i herd the manger telling her to ask me if i wanted to take anything home.. am like (wtf in my mind am like 5 feet away why doesn't he asks me)..
