Had a gift card for IHOP so we decided to stop since we were in the neighborhood. It was around 1 and had quite the crowd. I ordered the BLT from the 55+ menu you could get onion rings, fries or pancakes i chose onion rings that were very good crispy and good size. The BLT was loaded with bacon and had enough mayo so wasn't dry very good. My daughter got the sampler with 2 of eggs,sausages, ham,and hash browns and bacon with 2 pancakes also. Eggs done well and all the side was very good. She could only eat half she likes to take some home for later and she had plenty. I got to take her pancakes home I was going to order with my BLT but didn't have to we split my onion rings. Went for lunch with some friends. I was never there and I doubt I will ever go again. The food was not bad, the waitress was great, but the place was dirty especially the lady's bathroom, it was filthy. There were no towels to dry your hands and the floor looked like it wasn't swept in months. That was also the case on the dining room floor. Made me wonder what the kitchen was like! read more

Went for their hoppy hour special, and had a great server who was attentive, despite also having a larger table to attend to. We got the omelette and quick breakfast specials, along with a full stack of pancakes and there's really nothing quite like hot, fluffy pancakes! Everything ordered tasted good and came out correct and they even allow us to do a couple of customizations which was really nice. This IHOP has a happy hour menu from 3 to 9. That is a very inexpensive option to get in the middle of the day. My son and I ordered three items off the menu, eggs and bacon, breakfast burrito and pancakes and chicken strips- all were just average- kind of lukewarm, but it was a fun atmosphere, and very inexpensive to really feed a hungry kid. Service was good -waitress was attentive and leaves a nice hot thermos of coffee on your table for refills. read more

IHOP is not a place I frequent, but when I get a free gift card to come here I will absolutely come and get some pancakes from the international house of pancakes. I stopped here last Tuesday for some dinner with my girlfriend and the place was pretty darn empty. I feel like most of us have been to an IHOP at least once so I'll skip the boring details of the menu. I decided on ordering a breakfast combo that would include sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and some birthday cake pancakes. This is what I thought of the food! Sausage- pretty standard breakfast sausage, tasted good though. Hash Browns- I likes these way more then I probably should have, they were honestly the highlight of the meal. Scrambled Eggs- These were bad, and they kind of tasted like garbage. I've never not finished eggs before, but these were just lacking heavily in the taste department. Birthday Cake Pancakes- usually I love these special pancakes, but for the first time in my life, I'm going to say that these were so sweet that it took away from them being enjoyable. It was almost too much to take. Overall, you know what you are in for when you eat at a place like IHOP. I made a bad order choice and for that, I paid dearly (those eggs were terrible). They do enforce the social distancing guidelines for NYS. We came as a group of 5, but they had to separate us due to a rule about not being able for a party of 5+ together due to Covid19. The food was pretty good though. Pancakes are amazing as always. I could tell the strawberries were frozen, but I understand that's more of a chain restaurant thing, not a specific restaurant thing. I went to IHOP in Williamsville on a regular basis for one specific entree: Continental Crepes with Tropical Syrup. There was a choice of sour cream or cottage cheese filling. I always chose the cottage cheese until I was informed that it is no longer available. I left the restaurant without ordering and have not been back. Very disappointed. This is my second time visiting the Cheektowaga Ihop. One of the reasons that I go to Ihop is because my previous visits in NYC have been good. However this was not the case today in Buffalo/Cheektowaga NY. I was greeted by Nicole Vittie who was incredibly abrasive with me. I was unable to find my online order on the IHOP app. She offered me no help in finding my order. I probably spent 10 minutes, trying to find my order while she greeted other guests and seated them. My food was slowly congealing behind her but she made no attempt to check if it was my order. Eventually, I found my order in my email and saw that there were missing items. She was unwilling to actively listen to me and offered me advice that did not correlate with the problem. I told her that i found her quite rude and pointed that she had been rude the previous week -to which she said I should no longer come to that location. Quite confused as to why my pointing out her rudeness meant I couldn't order from there again. I asked for her name, position and supervisor's information. She refused to give me a district managers number claiming she was not allowed to share that information. Asked me to leave. At no time did I raise my voice, speak to her in a disrespectful way or demean her. The only conclusion I have is she was having a bad day--twice or she was triggered by me as a Muslim woman. I guess I didn't juxtapose with her bias. I guess- welcome to Buffalo? Not impressed. As of todays date- Noone from the franchise has reached out to me. Seemingly Nicole Vittie's actions are indicative of IHop policies in that location. She can exclude customers based on personal biases. Is it really 2023? read more

Still Banned from Cheektowaga Ihop Customers beware of this location. Two weeks ago on 22nd October 2023- the General Manager (Ms. Nicole Vittie) banned me from the location for no other reason then my commenting that she was rude. Apparently that was enough of a trigger to cause me to be banned. The worst part is 2 weeks after- I have been told that I allegedly went into the go to area and grabbed my food, Assuming as a reason that she banned me. This is a blatent lie. So be wary of going to this location. The workers and Im looking at you Zack will LIE about service. There are no "working" cameras so no proof that she lied but she knows. As a manager your role is to support your subordinates not rope them into your material lies. You lack integrity maam! So be warned. Today we went to IHOP for breakfast at 12. Our food was ordered at 12:10 our servers name was Carmen. I'm not quite sure what happened but she took our order and never came back. She took multiple orders for food and drinks around us. Delivered food to several tables, picked up checks, returned checks and change. But every time she walked past our table she refused to look at us. She would hold menus up near her face or just avoid looking in our direction. We had to wait for a table to get cleaned, then the hostess attempted to seat my family at a booth made for 2-4 people but it was 5 of us due to all the other tables being dirty. Restaurant was dirty. It took 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged anyone standing in the doorway. 7 people BTW. After that restroom was dirty with toilet paper just sitting in stall not in holder. Didn't look like it had been attended to for quite a while. I overheard manager telling someone else he is only allowed 2 employees for the day. We are currently remodeling our kitchen, which means we have been going to Home Depot daily, and are limited in our ability to cook. More then once we have been leaning on takeout options. Due to its proximity to Home Depot, my wife wanted IHOP for dinner. It was not a good experience. The ordering was online and therefore straightforward. We were given a pickup time of 5:51 (25 minutes from when we placed the order) which allowed us to run into Home Depot to buy more sandpaper. We arrived at IHOP in the curb-side pickup at 5:41, and notified them of our revival. A man had answered the phone, confirmed our order, mumbled something we did not understand, and hung up. So we waited... At 6:00, right when I was going to go into the restaurant, a polite server brought our food out, asking us if we had called because our food had been ready. Clearly not a great sign. Given that we were tired and hungry, we did not press the issue and went home. They are currently running a promotion with candied bacon. I ordered the Steakhouse Premium Bacon Burger (essentially their classic burger with special sauce and candied bacon). My wife ordered a sausage breakfast burrito with a side of candied bacon pancakes. I will start with the positive - the burrito was large and my wife enjoyed it. Her only complaint was that it stated scrambled eggs in the description and they clearly used their omelet batter (my wife is particular about her eggs). We both truly enjoyed the pancakes. The candied bacon elevated an already above-average pancake. I opened my burger and settled for the tip fries. Even when they are hot, I am not a fan of their fries - they are overly big and taste starchy. The burger was even worse. They made me a Classic Burger, with no special sauce and no bacon even though I paid a higher price for the premium selection. I am just thankful that we came home so that I could tap into my own condiments to avoid eating a dry burger. The condiments were also not great in that they were all oversized. The two slices of tomato were so thick that it was like eating half a tomato. The lettuce and onions were also out of proportion. There was a time when IHOP was trying to compete to make their burgers the star menu item for after breakfast diners. They have a long way to go. I gave them 2 stars because my wife liked her meal. We waited 50 minutes for a table so we could sit as a family of 7 we finally got seated in the 7 booth table and then they came up and said we had to move because that server left and then we're moved into a corner @ 2 different tables not even together and we were not told we would have to sit separately And to lie about it and say this table is actually not being used right now just to sit another customer right after.
