I have eaten here 2x in the last couple months. Both times the food was great came out very fast and hot!! But the service was absolutely horrible. Today was just awful. I ordered a water with lemon 10 minutes later it arrived with no lemon which I politely asked if she could bring me lemon never got the lemon. My son asked for a refill on his soda but it came in a styrofoam cup with no explanation. I would have understood if the place was jammed packed but it was not busy at all. Just stopped for quick breakfast and to stretch while on the way up to the Adirondacks. Sat quickly and waiting for 15 minutes for waitress. Other waitress was trying to communicate with our waitress to let her know what tables she was taking but there was no host. Food was hot and only one section of the restaurant open for 2 waitresses trying to do it all. I believe their names were Shannon and Melissa. Kudos to you two for holding it down. Stopped by today around 12pm for lunch and they were closed by a guy sitting in his car in front of door.Was told they were working on electric. Funny thing there was no electrician truck there. Went by again around 1:30 and still the same car parked near the door with the same guy sitting in car. I pulled off the interstate looking for a Denny's and had to settle for IHOP. Mistake! Waited 20 minutes for cold pancakes and broke eggs. I don't know why I keep trying IHOP's. I should have checked Yelp before I went in, but I was hungry and in a hurry. Will stay away in the future. read more

When I walked in the front door, I was greeted by the stench of dirty dishwater. I would have turned around and left, but this is the contracted restaurant that the Navy uses to feed reservists staying at local hotels. I placed a to-go order, and it took at least 30 minutes of waiting in the stinky dishwater lobby before I got my food. It was only (1) chicken sandwich. Then I took my food back to my hotel room, and opened it up to find a different chicken sandwich than the one I ordered. OH, well... I'll eat it anyway because I don't want to go back out. Well, I should have gone back out... It was nasty. The chicken breast had skin on it, and I almost gagged on it. The whole time I was worried that I might get sick due to the egregiously filthy state of the restaurant. Chain restaurant, the coffee here is extremely strong here. Their pancakes are always good and warm, with 4 different syrups to choose from. The wait staff is also good here always making sure you have enough coffee and seeing how the meal was. I am a fan of this place partially too because they are opened 24 hrs. Went to IHOP on a whim on a random week night. The place was empty, but yet they still managed to take 45 minutes to bring out an order of pancakes and an order of French Toast and Bacon. They also managed to make the wrong kind of pancakes than what I ordered. Inside was freezing cold as well. Had a ghetto space heater on the floor. Can totally see why the place was empty. This restaurant has gone way down. We are here right now, and they are out of crepes, which is what they are advertising on the table! They are also out of avacados, lemons, and mushrooms. There are only 3 other 2 top tables and 2 waitresses, and we waited for 10 minutes for our drinks. The waitress didn't ask me how i wanted my eggs, so im waiting to see what comes out. The food was great but the service needs improvement. Our waitress failed to refill our drinks after we received our food. Our plates were sloppy with mustard hanging off of the plate of our burger omelet. My husband and I went to IHOP because we had gift card that we wanted to use, and we happened to be in Clifton Park early in the day. My husband ordered a combo, eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes. I ordered the vegetable omelette with fresh fruit. The food took over 20 minutes to arrive while the place was not busy. He was satisfied with his meal since there was a good amount of food. My meal, however, is another story. I received an Omelette with a few slices of mushrooms, swiss cheese and spinach. The fruit tasted more like canned fruit than fresh. We had one order of coffee and one order of tea. These last two items cost $6.00. The reason for the two stars is based mostly on the price. The breakfast came to over $28. For $28 at Ruby Tuesday we had two meals as follows: a burger, fries and unlimited salad bar. The second dish was Tilapia, a side and unlimited salad bar. And two drinks with refills. When we received our bill there was a receipt offering a free stack if we did the survey. Funny the offer disappeared. All we had was a receipt showing what we had to add to the check after taking away the gift card. I guess the server gives these surveys to her friends. We will not go back mostly because the value for our money is pretty awful. read more

I have beet to this location in the past and I was very disappointed. I met a business colleague for breakfast this morning in this IHOP. WOW what a difference I noticed in the cleanliness, food and quality of service. The food came out hot and the server Shannon was very pleasant and accommodating. I will be back for sure. Typical decent food for the chain. Ensure that your order is exactly as you asked as they can sometimes interrupt you and miss information. Price is fair and wait staff was nice, food was good we usually get the omelettes and pancakes or a mix of breakfast foods.
