First, the good. Actually, the great. My server, Rhonda A was SO nice and wonderful and friendly and honestly that's why I like to come in to a restaurant even if I know the food isn't top notch. I love a great wait staff! They can make your day brighter. So, the heat was CRANKING! Granted, it was cold outside but a bit uncomfortably hot inside. And I was seated under a vent so it was blowing directly on me. At least my coffee never cooled off! I REALLY wish they didn't hand out plastic silverware when they seated you. I detest plastic utensils. And it's not like they didn't have real ones because the spoons for coffee were real as were knives for butter and jelly. So what's with the plastic knife and fork? My only guess is that it's Durham and the silverware has been stolen on a consistent basis so they started giving plastic. Food wise, my omelette was good. Definitely didn't have a problem finding the meat or cheese and that's a good thing! Fruit was fresh and coffee was HOT! The restaurant was clean. No torn booths that I could see and nothing broken. I visited this IHOP three times with friends on Thanksgiving Day (2022, 2024 and 2025), and one other time by myself in May 2023. In each visit, I ordered the same thing: quick 2-egg breakfast, with eggs scrambled, 2 sausage links and wheat toast. I had a different server every time and have not been disappointed. Food and service was consistently good. Price was reasonable. This IHOP is suitable for solo or group party. Parking (free) was plentiful when I was there (between 8am to 11am). I recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal - especially the quick 2-egg breakfast - at a reasonable price. read more

Craving breakfast food and tired of cooking, I realized I had not eaten at IHOP in years, so let's see what I've been missing out on. Spoiler: it will probably be years before I try IHOP again. I ordered the mushroom and spinach omlett, and the menu I was reading from said it had hollandaise sauce. Although the veggies were flavorful, the eggs came out I weird layers of paper thin sections, and there was no sauce... of any kind... the entire omlett was so, so dry. But not as dry at the butter-less toast. Not only was there no butter on the toast, but there was nothing in the bag. There were no jellies or anything I might have put on the toast. Said toast was supposed to be whole wheat, I'm pretty sure this is white bread. I haven't tried my OREO waffle yet, but there's no syrups or anything on it, so I hope the toppings are all the flavors it will need! It looks good, at least! Mom had a pancake breakfast, no butter or syrup for the pancakes, so it was very dry, but she liked the sausage. On Today 12/25/2025my daughter and myself came to the restaurant to have breakfast. After standing in line for almost 35 minutes with Noone taking orders or even being present to assist. A worker comes to the front to tell everyone, atleast 30 patrons waiting that we had to leave citing we are overwhelmed, she was very blunt as well as rude. This is a international dwelling that they basically kicked everyone out of, the disabled trying to dine with their loved ones, to a father trying to dine with his kids. My wife wanted to try iHop having not been to one for years. It will be years before we come again. They were clearly completely under staffed. It took an age to seat us and once seated we didn't even get coffee for about 15 minutes. We almost walked out. It took another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. All in it was 50 minutes from walking in to eating. When the food arrived it was hot and good (no plastic cutlery). The service can be slow, but the employees are kind and appear to be trying their best. The food is well presented and tastes even better. The atmosphere of IHOP is calm, easygoing, but the Women's restroom could use some maintenance. For example, the paper towel dispenser you have to stick your hand in the part where the towel comes out. The booths may be slightly sticky and your head may hit the people behind you. As always- awesome food- my husband & I enjoyed our breakfast- I had the pancakes eggs & bacon plus fruit choice & hubby had a waffle. Our food was delicious- to our specifications. The parking is free but can get a little tight especially during the busy times. The accessible parking spaces available on the side but a small upgrade to get to the doors. I wish to rate this IHOP a gigantic NEGATIVE below a Zero! This is the second time my husband and I dining here with his friend. Our table never received any silverware while all the other tables are eating with silverware. We we're the only table with plastic utensils! This happened from the very beginning when we were being seated to our table. The first thing we see prepared on our table are plastic utensils, not silverware! We never got any refills of water at all. By the time our food arrived we still had no water. The table behind us was never cleaned and we waited more than 15 minutes for our refill of water since the table behind us left! Our server insulted my husband's friend after she walked over to our table handing out our receipts to make payment. The female server made a statement of the 2 separate checks full price by comparing my husband's friend's receipt to what he spent for his order by calling him 'fat!' That's body shaming! Just because he spent $23 and order 2 things for himself makes no sense of comparing the price range to my husband's and I check together for 2 people who spent total of $26. Worst of all was when we called over the manager, our server came along and interrupted our call with the manager specifically. We only called over the manager and not our server to ask the question we have the right to ask. As a result, we ask the manager a genuine question out of curiosity about why our table never received any silverware but everyone in all the other tables have. The manager based on his response to our question was terrible to us! We asked him about it right after we made our payment by the end of our meal! He told us by paraphrasing it, we hand out silverware on less you as customer request it. Now that your asking at the very end with your finished meal there's no point. We visited this morning as a group of 4. After getting our drinks, we waited over 35 minutes for food to be brought to our table. During this time, the next section over had 3 groups seated 10-15 minutes after us get their meals. We even overhead a table nearby say they were given the wrong order, and what they were given was exactly what I had ordered. The waitress that had served the wrong meal had an apron labeled manager. Finally two of our four orders were brought out and our waitress said she'd bring the rest out as soon as it came over the counter. We sat for another 20 minutes before finally, my fiancé got up and asked the waitress to put the rest of the order in to-go containers when they come out because we've been here for so long and need to leave. She hadn't come over to bring syrup or check in about our lack of food once so getting up himself was our only option. 5 minutes later, she brought over to-go containers with food that was not what we ordered. She said she brought half of the food when it was ready so it wouldn't go cold in the kitchen, but our family follows table manners of not eating until everyone has their food so their meals went cold at the table anyways. We were never given the other half of what we ordered, just some pancakes that were not part of our order. The waitress was kind and not at fault, but when we asked to speak to a manager about the experience, she walked away and no manager came. We ended up leaving without eating our meal. One member of our party returned a minute later to give money to our waitress since it wasn't entirely her fault, and she walked in to 4 of the waitstaff loudly bad-mouthing us. We recognize that many places are short-staffed right now and that we were also not the only table experiencing this lack of service this morning, but as someone who has worked in food service, this was unacceptable. After an hour and a half at the establishment, none of our group of 4 ate, were offered an apology, or even treated with respect when we spoke up. The Garden Omelette gave me a dose of veggies and cheese, and was just okay. What I really enjoyed were the pancakes! The current special was unlimited pancakes with any omelette. I started with the omelette to get my veggies and protein in, so I couldn't quite finish the two pancakes they started me out with, but yum!!! Think 2 week old stale BO mixed with I haven't showered in over a month with a dash of sweating in 100+ degree weather and a pinch of vomit thrown in kind of stench. I don't know how anyone manages to stay in here for any length of time due to the smell, let alone stay and eat the rehydrated eggs. This place is shady af. Husband and I brought our two boys here for brunch awhile back. Food was mediocre, about what you'd expect from an IHOP. The waiter wasn't very pleasant, but whatever. We still left a 20% tip. Saw our bank statement and noticed the ihop amount was more than it should have been. Seems he took it upon himself to add an extra $20 on his tip. We called and the manager claimed the police had been there as someone else brought it to their attention he did the same thing. She was able to find my receipt and claims she say where he'd changed the tip amount and total. Considering he literally stole from us, I'd expect our entire bill to be comped. Instead she said I'd have to come pick up a $20 gift card that would give us back the stolen amount. It was a Visa card that you could tell she'd purchased herself nearby. I haven't even used it yet to see whether the money is there or not. She also promised 4 free meals for each of our party (as if we'd ever go back), and when I picked up the gift card it was only for 3. "Fast, cheap, friendly, and all-you-can-eat options!" Who doesn't love IHOP? Seriously, just stopped by this location again today, and although there was a long line at 11am (must've been ~20 people waiting), we were nonetheless seated within 10 minutes. Kids' meals are cheap and good, and they have lots of options for swaps (e.g., can switch regular bacon for turkey bacon). I had a combo for ~$7 that included 2 bacon, 2 eggs, hash browns, and all-you-can-eat pancakes. I know people (including me) rave about the fancier breakfast bakeries and such around here, but this deal is amazing, especially since it's also offered all day. Food is fixed fresh and to-order, all was tasty, and they have lots of different kinds of syrup on the tables. I won't wax poetic here, but I will say this place is certainly worth the stop, IMHO, and I have never had a bad experience here. read more
