At the beginning the service was amazing....but once we sat down and our waiter came to our table....thats when it all went downhill. Don't know whether it was his first day or so....but we received the most saddest service ever! Honestly....i didn't feel welcome anymore, i felt like i was trespassing and they were just staring at me! The food, oh my, don't even get me started on it! As a Viet Nam Era Veteran, I happily took advantage of IHOP's offer for a free breakfast on Veteran's Day, 2025 -- and it is exactly what I expected -- a comfortable, well-staffed restaurant with great American breakfast foodsYUMMY!!! The ambiance is that of a chain restaurant; it was clean, and busy with other Veterans on that day, many of whom I got to know while sharing our military histories. As a very outgoing person, I also got to make friends with the equally great service staff. The food was good, standard, American fare, and my only problem was that I ate too much As expected. Walking in it was very nice, staff was kind, the atmosphere was calm, just what I was looking for, for a late night/early morning bite to eat; I got some mozzarella sticks, waffles, bacon, eggs, sausage, and hash browns. First of all when we arrived at 12:00 noon there was a line of people in the lobby waiting to be seated. Right behind us was a lady with two kids and then behind that was three adults. Finally we were seated got her drinks and made her order. Our order arrived and after that the three adults that were behind us in line in the lobby were then seated. So we had already got our food before they seated those three adults. I ordered a regular hamburger and told them to hold the cheese, tomatoes, pickles, IHOP sauce and lettuce. All I wanted was mayonnaise, mustard & onions and guess what? They charged me 99 cents for mayonnaise. Not only are there long waits to get a table when there is only four tables occupied in the whole restaurant, but the restaurant is dirty, there do not have enough employees and I imagine they are close to closing their doors. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2023 #40 Visited one Saturday morning for a delicious pancake breakfast, and I was not disappointed. We were greeted upon entering and placed our name on the list. There is seating available in the main entrance and by the hostess stand. We took a seat out front, and within 10 minutes we were escorted to our seat. Went in for a late night meal. Multiple issues Parking lot lights - about 1/2 worked and light at entrance was out. Walked in, door chimed to notify host someone was there. Shawna is so amazing! She gave us extra creamer and the whole coffee pot. Very attentive and sweet. There are so many people here, and for good reason, it feels like a true diner. Someone cleaned my table before I sat down, whatever towel they used needs to be washed, my table was wet, sticky and it smelled. Do not use the bathroom! (u were warned) Floor was so dirty, needs to be sanitized, wiped with a clean mop and sweep. Restaurant smelled old and moldy. I am absolutely appalled at the level of inaccuracy of my most recent delivery order! I used a delivery app to try to avoid any errors in my order, thinking that would make it very easy for the restaurant to get the order right; I even used the app that the IHOP itself recommends on their website. I was greatly disappointed to receive my food order - not only with the wrong food items and the wrong preparation but completely missing food altogether! I had ordered a meal for an elderly person residing in my home, then two more combos as advertised in the app. The meal for my elderly family member was completely excluded from delivery altogether, therefore I had to give her some of my order (which was missing the pancakes!) just to help make up for the missing entree. The first combo was to have over-medium eggs, but they arrived scrambled; clearly not accidentally "overcooked", but someone was just not paying attention. The combo was also to include sausage but came with all bacon pieces with no sausage. Furthermore, combo number 1 was to come with an extra side of pancakes, but it only came with two pancakes with no extra side of them. Combo number 2 was missing the meat! As a Generation X'er, I can understand that technology is not always infallible and things do sometimes occur and mistakes are made; however, try explaining that to my 81-year-old grandmother who was NOT amused. As she is immunocompromised, it is important for our orders to be correct and at the very least, include HER food! Unfortunately, the app I used does not allow an order to be remade unless you pay for it. I did receive a small credit towards this order, but it didn't even cover all of the delivery fees and the tip! I had two choices: #1: Accept the small credit and re-order her food at least, but I would be charged for another $5.99 delivery fee and another tip (which isn't the delivery driver's fault!) just to get her meal. #2: Accept the small credit and try to take portions of the other two orders to put together to make her something to eat - which is what I did. I am not quite sure I understand the difficulty of reading out an electronic order that has been placed; when I double-checked the original order I placed through the app, it was indeed correct. Therefore, one can only ascertain that the IHOP staff is not paying attention to the order - either in a hurry or they have no concern for customer service. Since the restaurant included this little slip of paper requesting a review, they are definitely getting one now. I would expect the management of this IHOP to reach out to make things right - mainly for my grandmother who doesn't deserve to go without her meal. Do better, IHOP. read more

First of all this location isn't open 24 hrs because of lack of servers. There is usually 1 server every time we come. Her name is Kaylee and she works so hard. We always make sure to leave a great tip for her. If you are looking for fast food, don't come during busy hours because you will have to wait awhile. We went to IHOP for a quick lunch. The hostess sat us fairly quickly at a table that appeared to have been recently wiped down. My oldest stated that it felt super sticky. I touched and sure enough, it seemed to have been wiped down with a syrup filled cloth. We had to track a waitress down to clean it again. We ordered some cheese sticks and those came out quickly and were hot. Things went downhill fast after that. 4 drinks: two lemonade/teas, one 1/2 & 1/2 tea and one Pepsi. My son and I were given "refills" of the lemonade/teas. Equally good out to 3 fulls one in front of him and two in front of me. My husband and my other son asked for refills and their glasses were taken away and not replaced. Even after being asked a couple of times. 4 meals: pancakes, cheese burger no special sauce, chicken strips and a grilled cheese sandwich. Pancakes: Fine except for the extra strawberry remnants that weren't requested. Chicken strips: Cooked through (no pink) but sat on the line for awhile since chicken/fries were no longer hot. Grilled cheese: Apparently the grilled part was not understood. Was given bread that could have been done in a toaster because the cheese was not melted. In fact, you could still see the clear outline of slices when you opened it up. Fries were also cold. Burger: The first time it was brought out it had the special sauce on it. We immediately requested that it be taken back. Thus began the long wait for a replacement. Which finally came out, delivered by the manager and waitress. Unfortunately, they didn't check the plate to well because there was some over grilled food added for good measure. By this point we've requested that the grilled cheese be removed. Manager agreed and added that the burger would be free as well. We receive the check and instead of the meals being removed we get a discount on the meal and there are drinks we didn't order included on the check. We sent that back to be corrected. All in all we spent over an hour in a half cleaned restaurant for bad food. Fast food would have been a better option at least then I know things would be made as requested and it would have come out hot. We will not be going back. I've included pics. read more

I love IHOP! After working in one back in the day, I became fanatical about their pancake diversity!! The food always hits the spot yall! Specially after a long day of work and this is the only location near Frisco that is open. Well, actually the one that is not a bar. This is my first time here and I can honestly say that this is the cleanest location I have ever been to!! The staff that works overnight is not grouchy. Walked in late on a Friday night, and there was a party of 12 waiting in the lobby area. Two workers and a manager were waiting tables in this place that wasn't close to half full. Ten minutes later, we're still waiting to be greeted. Manager finally sees me as he's walking by and then he continues on to the bathroom. I flag him down since he won't acknowledge me to ask about the wait. 20-25 mins, he says. At that point, we walked out. This place is a joke. The waitress was sweet. Took our order fairly quickly and made small talk with the kiddos. Then we never saw her again. The runners who brought the food out just dropped it and left, didn't ask if we wanted sauce, napkins, UTENSILS. We were never offered refills on our drinks or asked how the food was. The food was all flavorless and our girls got their food at least 10 minutes before the rest of us.
