Walking in it was very nice, staff was kind, the atmosphere was calm, just what I was looking for, for a late night/early morning bite to eat; I got some mozzarella sticks, waffles, bacon, eggs, sausage, and hash browns. All of which satisfied my hunger, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend IHOP.

The charge for mayonnaise on the receipt.

First of all when we arrived at 12:00 noon there was a line of people in the lobby waiting to be seated. Right behind us was a lady with two kids and then behind that was three adults. Finally we were seated got her drinks and made her order. Our order arrived and after that the three adults that were behind us in line in the lobby were then seated. So we had already got our food before they seated those three adults. I ordered a regular hamburger and told them to hold the cheese, tomatoes, pickles, IHOP sauce and lettuce. All I wanted was mayonnaise, mustard & onions and guess what? They charged me 99 cents for mayonnaise. Not only are there long waits to get a table when there is only four tables occupied in the whole restaurant, but the restaurant is dirty, there do not have enough employees and I imagine they are close to closing their doors.

Yelp 100 Challenge 2023 #40 Visited one Saturday morning for a delicious pancake breakfast, and I was not disappointed. We were greeted upon entering and placed our name on the list. There is seating available in the main entrance and by the hostess stand. We took a seat out front, and within 10 minutes we were escorted to our seat. Our server was friendly, but did not stop by our table often. Our drinks were often empty and needed refilling, but the food was delicious.

Shawna is so amazing! She gave us extra creamer and the whole coffee pot. Very attentive and sweet. There are so many people here, and for good reason, it feels like a true diner. Very nice and remodeled, and to my surprise, it doesn't smell like chemicals (I've had this issue in the past with other ihops...).

Fruit flies perch quietly overhead [Photo does not show the 12 other fruit fly family members that came to join us at breakfast]

Fruit flies~Fruit flies~EVERYWHERE Fruit flies~Fruit flies~LOOK UP THERE. Annoyingly flying near your ear, why must they come so annoyingly near? Oh, yes, but not all are quite so annoying; some sit quietly perched above your head, waiting to lay their eggs once you're fed. The food, you ask? Sure, it was fine if you enjoy a fruit fly procession line. The service, you ask? It was okay, but in this place with the fruit flies, I could not stay. In Summary: The promise of an enjoyable breakfast is marred by the unwelcome companionship of fruit flies and the broader operational challenges that impair this location.

Yes I waited, but that is expected on a Sunday where the whole world is short staffed.

I stopped by Sky Rocket Burger for a quick dinner after I checked into a nearby hotel. When I…read morearrived, there was only one other customer in the place, which gave me plenty of choices in terms of where to sit. But first, I went to the counter to order my burger and fries from the friendly cashier. I also ordered an orange-cream soda fountain drink, one flavor among the pure-cane-sugar drinks they offer. No high fructose corn syrup here. The burger was actually much better than I expected. I thought it was quite delicious, and the ingredients were quite fresh. The portion size was good, too. The fries were good, but they weren't the standouts in this meal. The burger and the orange-cream soda were more memorable. Although the place was very clean, and I was sitting indoors, where there are lots of tables and bar seating, there was one aggravation: aggressive fruit flies that have no fear of humans, so it was nearly impossible to swat them away. Thankfully, they were not mosquitoes, but it was impossible to keep them from crawling on my cup and food no matter where I sat in the large dining room room. Although the burger was good, prices are probably a bit high for what you get. That together with the fruit flies resulted in my three-star rating. If you can find a day when the flies are calmer, and you're not paying out-of-pocket (as was the case when I went), it might be worth a try if you are needing a quick meal within walking distance of your hotel.

Thick patty but still has that smash-style flavor, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, it was aggressively greasy. I'm not delicate and even I felt off afterward. There's greasy comfort food and then there's this. For what it costs, that's a problem. This place feels overpriced for the experience. Wait wasn't awful, but only because I was with friends. Staff was quiet and kind of annoyed, not rude, just not welcoming. The dealbreaker was cleanliness. Fruit flies everywhere near the soda machine. Once you see that, the meal is basically over. Good burger, flawed execution. Not bad, not great. The search for a good burger continues.

I ate the popper, lb&j, and the cowboy, which I love (ate the smokehouse in the past and that's also a top choice). The Cowboys pimento cheese was just the right amount of cheese for the slider and the jalapeno cilantro aioli was an outstanding addition to it. The PB&J - I'm a sucker for jam in a burger and the blackberry jam was refreshing and cool and paired great with the bacon in the peanut butter while still complimenting the meat. The Popper had a lot of rosemary lime aioli which was delicious to bite into. I've been here several times and narrowed down to my favorite 4. The sides (waffle fries, extra sugary drinks, onion rings) could be improved but while the sliders are pricy, they leave a great impression. The service is also very kind to lete grab a lot more ketchup packs and you do feel the "butcher" vibes in the food when you're eating.

Cowboy - Beef, pimento cheese, crispy onion straws, jalapeño cilantro aioli - DELICIOUS. the pimento cheese was the star of the show and made the slider taste extra good 2. Smokehouse - Beef, smoked brisket, Cheddar, pickled red onion, house BBQ sauce, rosemary lime aioli - I enjoyed this the only downside was the brisket was dry and made me so thankful for the drink that came with my meal. 3. Popper - Beef, fried jalapeño & cream cheese, pepper jam, bacon, cilantro, rosemary lime aioli - DID NOT ENJOY. Unfortunately the jam that this burgie came with just overpowered the whole thing and not in a good way. It did not mesh with the rest of the ingredients and the popper had no flavor or filling. It just flattened when I took a bite and I got nothing but a mouthful of that terrible jam. The waffle fries were ok just nothing special. The onion rings though....OMG so crisp, so fresh, so flavorful. Would just come back for those. Service was fine, we were the only people waiting to order so it was quick.

My partner tried a burger and myself the chicken fried steak finger basket. The value for money was big, and I got a large amount of tenders, more so than was stated on the menu. The breading had a bit of an odd texture but overall the fingers tasted good. The gravy tasted a bit off to me but nothing too offputting. The fries were great. My partner also largely liked his burger. He described the bun as "sweet." I think I'd be interested in returning and trying something else, like a sandwich, salad or taco. It wasn't the best food ever, but I enjoyed it enough that I'd return.

My 6-year-old son was very excited to be there and, while looking at the menu, he touched it without realizing it was a digital screen. Instead of calmly explaining that he shouldn't touch it, an older male employee yelled at him in a very aggressive and inappropriate manner. As a parent, I was shocked and saddened to see an adult speak to a young child that way over such an innocent mistake. Children are still learning and deserve to be treated with patience, kindness, and respect. The situation made us feel so uncomfortable that we decided to leave without ordering any food. It's unfortunate because we had been looking forward to dining there. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that staff members know how to interact respectfully with families and children. Based on this experience, we will not be returning.
