Bad Hair Day? Ordered the Double BLT and after my second bite, noted a piece of hair on my bacon. Informed the manager and he apologized and took it back to the kitchen and informed me that he will have a new sandwich made for me. While waiting for my food, I unwrapped my silverware and found another piece of hair on my fork. Informed the manager again and he took the fork and apologized once more (he seemed disappointed at this point). Had to use the restroom and soon as I walked in, stepped in urine. The floor was covered in it and there were little flies in the stalls. My wife had to use the restroom and when she walked in she almost slipped and fell due to the floor just being mopped and let me know that there was no wet floor sign either. Would not recommend this IHOP. The host was a love. Waited for a table and I wish we had left and headed to Cracker Barrel instead. The place was not clean and smelled musty. The wait for the food took awhile and when it came out it was warm not hot. The pancakes were not as I remembered IHOP breakfast to be but a rubbery something. It seemed to have been sitting in the kitchen for awhile. My wife's soup was ice cold! The server (who was a sweetheart) apologized and took it to the kitchen to heat up and came back with it piping hot fresh from the microwave. The rubbery clams proved it. this is the third time in a row where the service + food have been very disappointing. it took the waitress about ten minutes to get our order, and another twenty minutes until the DRINKS come out, not the food. i ordered a typical egg/hash browns/bacon type of deal with strawberry crepes: the hash browns were still raw potato strands, the egg wasn't cooked the entire way through, the bacon was burnt, + the crepes had the grossest glazed "strawberries". to end the service, the waitress gave my boyfriend and i the wrong check (we got ours after we approached her). last night our waitress was with another waitress, but it seemed like the other waitress actually was going to tables and such, and bringing food out, while our waitress sat down and talked to coworkers. every other time i've been here, i've only seen one waitress working. definitely not returning to this ihop. read more

My first time at an ihop! I really didnt want to go but was forced and I am glad I was! I ordered the strawberry banana pancakes with eggs, bacon and hash browns. My niece got strawberry crepes and my sister got strawberry banana french toast. Everyone had happy bellies after that! Our waitress was attentive and the food came out fast. The worst IHOP I've ever been to. My sister and I stopped in one evening with my two children to grab a quick meal. We're both IHOP lovers. When we arrived, we were told me two separate employees that they'd be right with us, but we waited over five minutes to be seated. Once we were seated, another diner approached our waitress to tell her that someone had vomited in the ladies restroom. We should've left then. My sister and I both ordered breakfast "combos" and I ordered my son some sort of pancake that had a face made of fruit with a tube of yogurt. He never received the yogurt, and the banana that was used on the pancake looked like it had been cut the day before; it was brown. My sister needed to use the restroom, but was told it was closed and she was directed to the men's restroom. Great, but when she came out of the stall, there was a male urinating in the urinal who was embarrassed by their encounter. Overall, the staff all seemed to be in la la land with no rush or motivation to do anything. There were maybe six tables occupied, yet after an hour, vomit in the bathroom wasn't cleaned up? No stars at all! This is the worse ihop I have ever been to. The portions of the food was for a 5 year old. The order was totally messed up. The eggs were runny, and curbside pickup was rediculous. Their phone is off the hook. They never answered. Had to go in and wait 45 minutes for a plate of what looked like garbage! The manger should be ashamed of this. We took the slip back in and asked for a refund. They said, we need to shutdown the online ordering because they couldn't handle it. Then don't advertise for this option. Stopped in here for breakfast yesterday. Even though there were only 3 occupied tables and three waitresses, the service was extremely slow. The restaurant itself was in desperate need of a good cleaning, and many areas needed repairs. The food when it finally arrived was both tasty and hot. On the plus side, our waitress was friendly and pleasant, so I don't think the delays were caused by her. Lancaster has many other restaurants, I would suggest you try those, before wasting your hard earned cash here. read more

Definitely not the best experience I have had at an IHOP. Floor was dirty, bathrooms were dirty, rap music from cooking area was loud - no other music in restaurant. The food took over an hour to come out - we had been told the rush was over; it should not have taken that long for food to come out during a non-rush. The food - daughter's Mac and cheese was clumped and hard (possibly sitting out for a while, the pancakes I had were rubbery, the burger my husband had was missing tomatoes, and only had cut up jalapeños and not the sautéed onions pepper mixture. I am a huge fan of ihop, and I've loved this ihop in the past. But this past weekend my boyfriend and I had ordered to go so we could have a morning picnic. The manager was very kind and made sure we weren't waiting to long. But when we got to our destination our food wasn't the way we wanted it, and we were missing stuff. I had done an upcharge that was $3 to get different pancakes for my meal and they never even gave me the pancakes. And I asked for no mushrooms on my beef tips.. and there was mostly mushrooms and barely any of the beef tips. Also, While I was waiting for my food the cooks and employees didn't not have there hair up, they have long acrylic nails that are unsanitary for the work place. And behind their kitchen door, you could see an open monster can near the clean plates.. as I said they used to be better in the past, but as of right now they are pretty bad.. read more

The speed of service was pretty average for the amount of people that were there. We came here on Black Friday and they were terribly understaffed. The waitresses and waiters were acting unprofessional. The coffee pot had dried fruit stuck to the outside. This place has turned into a hot mess. On a Saturday afternoon, there were maybe 5 other tables occupied. The music was too loud and the restaurant smelled musty, like an old vacuum cleaner. Most of our silverware was dirty and we had to grab multiple sets from other tables to find something clean. Water and OJ took about 10 minutes to come out, and coffee took about 20 minutes. When our food eventually came out, it was luke-warm like it had been sitting for awhile. Our hash browns were overcooked and scrambled eggs were runny. Our waitress was a combination of overworked and uninterested as she waited on all of the tables and ran the register. She also seemed to be distracted by some non-employee friends that were hanging out at the front of the restaurant. Last but not least, the men's bathroom was dirty and the soap dispensers were empty. The tank for a soap dispenser was sitting on the sink which seemed to be their way of handling the empty dispensers. The paper towel dispenser popped open when I tried to use it. We actually had a good experience at this IHOP when it opened a few years ago, but we definitely won't be coming back after this visit. We weren't too upset but the fact our breakfast took over 35 minutes to come out was a tad ridiculous. Eggs were cold and no cheese was found like the description had said. Hash Browns were terrible!! Half burnt and cold!! Surprising to me that there weren't many people that our food took long and came out cold and disappointing. We placed an order this morning and I called the restaurant to make sure they put cream in the bag for the coffee. When the food arrived there was no cream in the bag and the strawberries for the crepes were open and leaked all over the bag. I contacted the restaurant and spoke to the manager who blamed Door Dash and I quote I don't know how they drive or the driver drives the car so you have to complain to them. He took no responsibility that anything was missing or food was spilled and told me straight out if I wanted the cream and strawberries I should drive to the restaurant and pick it up myself. They each received half of an adult sized cheeseburger. That wouldn't have been a big deal if they had just told us that was going to happen. The food was good, but my sons were both still hungry, so I attempted to order another burger. I just asked for a full sized burger and I intended to cut it in half. Fat and sugar are relatively easy to be made into something delicious but they manage to ruin even that. The sirloin tips was a salty and greasy tar-like mess. The oil and vinegar that came with the salad smelled like some really old kitchen stain. I understand this is a breakfast restaurant but didn't expect they could deliver such rubbish. Update to my first review: we came back for dinner. This time around we were seated and got drinks and food within 30 minutes...fine. Never got a refill on my drink despite asking for it...not great. The kicker here is when I bit into my sandwich and found half of a toothpick. There was no other half to be found anywhere. I would like to think that it broke off before being served, but obviously I could've possibly swallowed it. Worst possible service. Worst possible food. My fiancé who can only have certain foods ordered gluten free waffles. Two minutes before our food came out she was told they didn't have gluten free tonight. This was after 20 minutes of waiting. None of our food was right. My sons bacon cheeseburger had no bacon. And he ordered ranch for his fries which he had to ask for again when the waitress came out to inform my fiancé about her food. My turkey club sandwich which I ordered with sourdough bread came out with rye bread. My oldest ordered the combo platter and the eggs tasted like pure butter. My oldest had to share their meal with my fiancé because it was too late to order anything else. When the check came they tried to charge us for the gluten free meal we never got.
