It's been a while since I've update my review here. I've been back a bunch of times since and never had issues. This last trip I was in the mood for breakfast and dinner. So what did I get? Chicken fried steak on the breakfast menu. With this you get pancakes hash browns, and eggs. How can you go wrong with that? With the dinner you get mashed potatoes and veggies. Bla. If I'm gonna carb out, it's going to be the breakfast version. Funny thing is, my wife got the same thing. Kiddies ordered off the kids menu. Our server was attentive and friendly. They always prepare our orders correctly and they're very kid-friendly. My son loves the pancakes and Mac & cheese & most anything they have. I like the grain & nut pancakes &.the pumpkin pancakes. Their French toast & Swedish pancakes are good also. read more

We got seated very fast, which was nice. But on my Belgian waffle, tucked underneath my butter was a long hair. I didn't think too much of it until I saw my side order of bacon that looked a little too sickly for my liking. My mom just ordered the regular buttermilk pancakes, which you wouldn't think they would mess up, considering that they are the international house of said dish. But on each pancake in the stack the bottoms were completely black and burnt. And her ham was so obviously burnt that the cook and/or waitress could have easily seen it. The one other good thing I could compliment besides getting seated quickly, would be the music in there. I got to hear some a-ha, Queen and Men at work. It's IHOP, but the name shouldn't keep you from stopping in. Trying to get a seat on a late Saturday morning is usually a no-no among brunch goers but this was not the case today. We got a booth for two within minutes and our server was kind, pleasant and ready to do anything we asked. Our orders came out quickly although our bacon was a bit undercooked (which the waiter corrected immediately). Not sure the rating is not higher. The Host was fantastic he even walked around when he wasnt busy asking customers if they needed anything. Our waiter was very polite and attentive to our needs. He was very busy yet worked very hard to serve his customers. Of all the IHOP's in the area this one is recommended. My experience was good. The food was good and the service was amazing. My only complaint was that there was one person at the back of the store getting angry about the mac and cheese being cold. He started talking to the other customers wondering if there pasta was cold or not. He was definitely a teenager and I have no idea why he wanted mac & cheese at Ihop, but what ever. They handle a large crowd of 15-30 actors in gore makeup every weekend of october very well (from the local haunt Shocktober, it's here on Yelp, look it up). Staff are always friendly and handle our weird cravings in stride. I'd like to give a shout out to Dennis, who works there late nights when we come in and is most often our waiter. He is a Blessed man that caters to our every need with an amused smile and a hustle in his step. He's memorized almost everyone's orders by now and makes sure to confirm that's what we want that night. He is extremely patient and attentive on how we want to split up our checks each night. It was late and most other restaurants were either closed or about to declare last call. We went on Yelp.com and narrowed our search to 24 hour restaurants and the results yielded some restaurants which clearly indicated that their hours were closed or closing and not in fact "24 hours establishments". My fiancée recommended that we eat at IHOP since it was 24 hours. We looked up the closest one to where we were staying and called a cab and then we were on our way. On the drive over we realized that this IHOP was close to the Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets as well as a 24 hour Wal-Mart. We arrived at IHOP and Enrique our greeter/ cashier/ server/ slash bus boy (yeah they had a skeleton crew & it was slow). He greeted up and showed us to our table. He came back to take our drink and appetizer orders. He brought us our drinks and took our main food orders. We ordered the sampler, chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon, banana strawberry French toast combo (which included eggs, hash browns and more bacon). Our main order came out and Enrique noticed and said he would go and check on out late appetizers. It was fine though we didn't really care for the sampler because it tasted exactly like Denny's sampler. We did like the chocolate chip pancakes and I enjoyed the Butter Pecan Syrup over the other choices (blueberry, old fashioned, & strawberry). The strawberry banana French toast was good especially with the toppings although I didn't care much for the strawberry syrup. The used the same frozen fruit puree that was in my drink The Splashberry (strawberry puree, orange juice, & lemon lime soda [like sprite]). It was not mixed when served but tasted great or refreshing and once you blend the ingredients together with your handy straw, you get a very pleasantly fruity cocktail with frozen strawberries to munch on. The bacon was great very crispy crunchy and a salty (maybe almost too salty for some). The eggs were prepared over easy and the hash brown was ok. Overall Enrique checked on our table and was very attentive to our needs like extra plates, refills, making sure we were ok, and even told us that "there was no rush" when he delivered our checks. When we were ready to leave Enrique brought us some to-go boxes as requested and when we met him as the cashier to settle our bill we chatted a bit about our travels and how long it took to get to Virginia. He was nice and was able to answer some of our questions about the area. The service was great, the food was good and the restaurant was clean and the employees were courteous. On Monday, the 22 of Sept. in the early morning, I went with a friend to have breakfast at IHOP, which we do quite often.. I suffered an illness after eating, must say NOT FROM THE FOOD, which was excellent. I am writing this to let you know how your people there responded to this. They did everything to make me comfortable, taking the time to bring me orange juice and water and waiting with my friend and helping me into her car. I do not know the peoples name but I would like to let them know and let the company know ow much I appreciated it. I woke up this morning with an aching pain but once I became hungry I wasn't able to stand up long enough in the kitchen to make myself something to eat. I ordered a small entree from ihop (traditional breakfast sandwich, potato cakes and an OJ). When my food arrived I was sad because my sandwich didn't have bacon on it. I quickly called the restaurant and kindly spoke with the manager. He was very sweet and quickly asked what he could do for me. To my surprise he asked for my address and came ASAP to deliver me the correct sandwich and added another for the inconvenience. IHOP is a great local establishment with good food. I went there with a larger party- about ten of us and was accommodated greatly. Our waitress Anna was exceptional and I look forward to dining there again. I ordered the French toast and it's succulent taste was outstanding. My only complaint is that there was a teenager in the back who was loudly complaining about the temperature of his Mac and Cheese. I love IHOP as much as the next person, if not more. I visit almost every month or so. Probably would visit more if they had bigger coffee cups, for coffee lovers they should offer some giant mugs. Who wants to keep refilling their baby tiny cup every 3 sips What prompted this review, were the gross pancakes that I orders to go. I love the tres leche pancakes because they are delicious, on this day I didn't feel like going getting out and decided to get a to go order, which was a BIG mistake! I couldn't enjoy my pancakes at all, I was so upset I wanted to cry! I really freaking wanted some tres leche pancakes and do you know what I got instead? Is regular pancakes with a spoon of syrup they use for the pancakes. There wasn't anything special on them, like you would get in the restaurant. I basically paid 10$ for 4 plain pancakes! This has possibly got to be the worst places I've ever been to. The unprofessionalism in that atmosphere i am in a state of shock this place is still running. The servers didn't acknowledge when we were sat down. They were talking it up at the register and joking around. I went up to the front desk and there were two boys standing there. One who sat us down didn't know where he sat us down and asked us to show him where we were sitting after 10 min of sitting there!!! Another family walked in and given menus and were asked if they were ready to order within minutes of being there. We didn't even order drinks!! I will never come back here again in my life. I will make sure everyone i know knows about this place. I do get we're going through a pandemic and businesses are struggling but if you have enough employees to stand around in a circle and joke around you have enough to get orders on time too then!!! There was about 9 or 10 servers in there and they were all doing NOTHING!!! I am very very disgusted. NO ONE IS FORCING THESE PEOPLE TO WORK IF THEY DONT LIKE THEIR JOB!!! It's IHOP! Standard fare, decent food, great prices. No different than any other IHOP. I give then snaps (and stars) for being open all the time. Great place to stop when traveling from Dulles Airport to home after those late night flights. Can't go wrong especially if you stick to breakfast menu! read more

Sunday morning at IHOP's are always hit or miss, especially at this location. We had a great server but the food just came out horrible, my chicken and waffles came out cold, so did my sons silver 5 pancakes, and my girl friend ordered the poblano omelet which came out with literally no meat. The prices are reasonable, but the service is kinda lacking but i just believe today my server was having a bad day. I placed an online order for "curbside delivery" with IHOP which provided a pickup time. Per their website "give us a call to let us know you've arrived, and we'll bring your order straight out to your car." I pulled in and placed the call to the number on the sign outside at the designated pickup spot. The lady that answered didn't see my food ready and said she would check. She placed the phone off the hook and kept me waiting for about 10-15mins before I finally went inside and told the person at the desk that I had been waiting on the phone, showing them the active call on my phone, at which time she hung up the store phone. She said they would check the back and get my order. After a few minutes she came back and stated that they had no record of my order but would be happy to place a new one. After explaining to them that I already made my order, that I already paid, they went in the back again only to emerge with nothing. They checked the order in the bag on the table by the front desk and, surprise! I did have an order. They were just waiting on the last item (about 25mins post pick up time), which was just a stack of pancakes. The lady went and got the food from the back, put it in the bag and handed it to me. After asking if the original food was still warm that was in the bag (now 30mins in), she removed the food, touched the under side of the container and said it was still "kinda warm". We ate the room temp food which was subpar to other IHOPs I've dined at. That night I sent an email to IHOP's corporate Guest Relations which auto-replied that they would respond in 3-5 business days. It's been 11 business days and still no response. Clearly their guest relations and employees at this store must get the same training. If IHOP wants to respond, the case number is: 2764635. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere, especially for takeout. read more

The coffee tastes like they make it in a used ashtray. The coffee is so bad that when we get stuck eating here we go across the street to Sheetz to get coffee after.
