Staff was really friendly but the food made me vomit my brains out when I got home. Good music selection though vibes were up until they were so very down

This is one of the better IHOP's that I have been to. They have a reasonable portion size and they stay open the times that have been described online (unlike others I've been seeing). My regular order is a spicy pablano omelet with tres leches pancakes. In conclusion this is a standard representation of an ihop nothing crazy special.

Almost a perfect day today at iHOP I really enjoyed being promptly at the door and seated immediately. The server Gabriel was on the ball tonight, except for a small error in the breakfast combo which he correctly promptly. The table service was better than usual and the good came out quickly and hot! Drinks were refilled before they ran out and check backs were well spaced out also. Dishes were cleared when empty and out check came to the table when we were almost done. I've ordered over-medium eggs at many iHOPs in the past and they never get it right, it always comes out over easy, which is a bit too runny for me, Today was perfect, just the way I make them myself at home!

    Supposed to be eggs Benedict.

Very slow service. Ordered an eggs Benedict and got back what was essentially 2 boiled eggs on stale bread with a clumpy version of what was supposed to be hollandaise sauce. Wife ordered the Chicken Florentine which is usually very savory and moist at other IHOP locations but was bland and dry at this place. Overall, would not recommend this place.

It's a mess. This is supposed to be biscuits and gravy, sausage links and eggs. It was this way upon arrival.

When they arrived they seemed oddly small for what you would expect, more so trimmings than "Steak Tips." For dinner I was between a couple of items, but I rushed myself to order the Steak and Cheese. When it arrived it appeared that I received the previously mentioned "steak tips" sandwiched between bread, with some condiments and cheese. Maybe I should have read the description a bit more carefully or maybe I expected something more typical of a Steak and Cheese. I did want to order the steak tacos after both, just to see if they were the same. Someone please let me know. I understand that restaurants will utilize ingredients across multiple dishes but this just seemed ridiculous.

In the 2010's, about a few times a year on average, I'd have work travel to Leesburg. I'd often be coming from my office at companies in Howard County or Halethorpe (Baltimore County), MD , so I almost took the less traffic northern route down I-70 to Frederick & down US 15 to avoid often times traffic somewhere on 495, avoiding toll on Dulles Toll Road & Green Way or slow of VA-7 all the way to Leesburg. The multiple times I was going down US 15, I was thinking it was a cute place, but left turn in and left turn out with sometimes a lot of traffic to make the left back onto US 15 wasn't worth it. And sometimes wouldn't be going back the same way as until 2017 lived in NoVA And even 2017-2020 Wheaton, MD, I'd still often tough it out take VA-7 to 495 and deal with nasty traffic to get back home. On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, I happened to have not eaten lunch, took US 15 back into MD, and decided to eat a late lunch here at Roots 657 on the southside of the small hamlet of Lucketts, VA. The outside of this place looks like a large barn. Inside the store, there's a gift shop like what you might see at Cracker Barrel, but less cramped and nicer. Ordering was at a counter with a chalk-written menu above. Staff was cordial. And the burger was big quite possibly the best burger I had in 2018 and a lot of fries too. Although work travel to Leesburg is highly unlikely these days, if I'm ever out there for work or other reason, I'd definitely want to revisit this gem.

We stopped in on a Friday morning and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. We were seated immediately, which gave us a chance to take in the restaurant's charming farmhouse aesthetic. With its high ceilings and rustic décor, it feels like a modern take on an old country farmhouse that's warm and inviting without feeling overdone. As an unexpected bonus, we happened to visit during Restaurant Week, and the special was an incredible value. It included a Buff-Mosa, deviled eggs, and the Low Country Biscuit. My wife ordered the Southern Philly, so we ended up sampling a little of everything. The Buff-Mosa was a refreshing way to start the meal. Made with Blue Ridge Vodka, Cava, and strawberry-watermelon juice, it was light, crisp, and not overly sweet. The deviled eggs were topped with bacon jam, which added a nice savory touch. They had a bit more mustard and horseradish kick than I'm accustomed to, but they were still delicious and packed with flavor. The real star, though, was the Low Country Biscuit. It was absolutely enormous, stacked with perfectly fried chicken, chunky pimento cheese, and hot honey. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the combination of the rich pimento cheese with the sweet heat of the hot honey was outstanding. The honey added just enough spice to complement the sandwich without overpowering the other flavors. I also tried a bite of my wife's Southern Philly, and it was fantastic. It's a creative Southern spin on a classic Philly cheesesteak and one that's definitely worth ordering. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. One fun detail I really appreciated was that the check is presented inside a book, a small touch that fits perfectly with the restaurant's farmhouse theme. Between the outstanding biscuits, generous portions, creative menu, and excellent service, Buford's Biscuits delivered a fantastic breakfast experience. There are still plenty of menu items I'd love to try, so we'll definitely be back.
