Had breakfast there on 12/21/2024. I had the anytime breakfast tacos. The tacos were delicious. Eggs cooked perfectly. Bacon nice and crispy. The salsa they provide is what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. If I'd thought about it, I'd have brought my own hot sauce with me. I also had the cinnastack pancakes. This IHOP location is a little outdated and definitely rough around the edges. We decided to come here on father's day morning, short notice to have brunch. We had a large group of 13, both kids and adults, and we were seated not too long after arriving. The restaurant was about 2/3s full so it wasn't crazy busy. We were sat in a room that was particularly hot. I noticed the thermostat was set to 71 but the room was at 79 degrees. Not ideal dining conditions. It would have been nice to have been notified that it was hot in the room. Guess who was "sweaty Eddie" within minutes. The server seemed to be a seasoned IHOP server but clearly did not want to be working that day. It took a while for our coffee and juice to come out, considering that it was a busy Sunday, we were being patient. A couple of other smaller groups of 6-7 people came in after us and were served speedier and were out before we even got our food. After 45 minutes of waiting we complained to the manager and shortly after that our food finally came out. Why does it have to come to us complaining to have our order come out? Who wants to deal with that negative situation? They could have coordinated to at least bring out the kids food first so they could have been fed. To add insult to injury, the syrups were all situated at the opposite side of the table so I took a bottle of syrup to carry over to my end of the table and the bottle top wasn't screwed in all the way, it dropped, splashed syrup all over my pants and shoes as well as another guest at our table. That was infuriating, to say the least. The food was prepared correctly and was tasty. Up to ihop standards and no complaints there. I will opt to drive to the further location (Ashburn) to dine there because they have their system worked out and it's a much more pleasant dining experience. Take my advice and go to the Ashburn Ihop to avoid these unpleasantries. read more

Finally writing a review. We have been here several times for dinner. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming. We were seated quickly and the servers are always friendly and responsive. They have expanded their menu and have different specials every month. They even serve alcohol now. Food comes out fast and the prices are reasonable. read more

quite honestly it is often hard to score an IHOP.. You are not looking for fine food here., just filling comfort. This particular location we visited on a Saturday morning, about 10am, just as the morning rush was ending. Our server was attentive, and friendly, but certainly did not linger. Food was cooked to varying degrees of done to over done, except the hashbrowns, which were requested well done and were just warmed, soft and mushy. I am giving the benefit of the doubt here, betting non-rush times are better. A bit odd to find driveway first time, and surprised there was only one Handicap space, especially for a business that caters to seniors. read more

All right it's IHOP. We've all been there. This place can get very busy but it's pretty well run and efficient. They've got some new menus for 2023 that look great. I have always liked IHOP for breakfast and visit the Leesburg location regularly. It's clean, the staff is friendly and professional and the food is dependably good. My favorite choice for breakfast is their Colorado omelet which is huge and stuffed with bacon,ham,sausage and beef. It comes with a side of your choice...3 pancakes, hah browns or fresh fruit. It also comes with some salsa to put on top of the omelet which I like. For those senior citizens out there, IHOP will knock off 10 precent off of your food bill, but you have to tell them! Not sure why they won't do that for your beverages too. read more

This is one of the better IHOP's that I have been to. They have a reasonable portion size and they stay open the times that have been described online (unlike others I've been seeing). My regular order is a spicy pablano omelet with tres leches pancakes. In conclusion this is a standard representation of an ihop nothing crazy special. read more

Almost a perfect day today at iHOP I really enjoyed being promptly at the door and seated immediately. The server Gabriel was on the ball tonight, except for a small error in the breakfast combo which he correctly promptly. The table service was better than usual and the good came out quickly and hot! Drinks were refilled before they ran out and check backs were well spaced out also. Dishes were cleared when empty and out check came to the table when we were almost done. THis morning I decided to have brunch at IHOP in Leesburg. First, my server was amazing. So bright, cheerful with an amazing smile. Anyway as I was getting ready to leave a gentleman with his son stopped by my table and insisted on giving me $20 to pay for my food. I've ordered to-go twice. Once I waited, and today via DoorDash. In both instances they forgot something significant. The first time, while I waited, they forgot to include the bacon for both meals. Took them 15 minutes to get me bacon, so everything was cold by the time I got home, after asking them to reheat it or remake the eggs got me funny looks. Today I ordered a biscuit and gravy and they forgot the gravy. The DoorDash delivery driver volunteered to go back for it, but we couldn't get anybody to answer the phone at the restaurant. Honestly, it's biscuits and gravy and they forgot HALF of it. Clearly, proper preparation, any sort of quality check, and customer service are too confusing for this joint to handle. I haven't been to iHop in awhile but the special promotion that kids eat free with the purchase of an entree from 4pm-10pm enticed me to want to dine here. After placing our entree orders, our waiter tells me that the kids meals will not be free due to us not ordering beverages. Really? He couldn't have told me this earlier when we said we wanted waters to drink? No where on the advertisement does it mention that a beverage must also be purchased with the entree. He then mentions that he is able to give us only one free kids meal but each entree must purchase a beverage. I get that a beverage doesn't really cost much, but honor your promotion or add that a beverage must also be purchased with each entree in the fine print. Not a very relaxing dining experience. This morning I called at 6:30AM and placed a to go order for 10 people. The order was admittedly very annoying - lots of modifications and details, and everyone in my group asked for a to go drink. Lorrie D. Answered the phone & she was so pleasant throughout the entire conversation, and was so meticulous with my order and making sure everything was correct. When I arrived to pick up my order, everything was completely packed and ready to go, and she even helped me carry everything out to my car. When I got to my meeting and unpacked everything, I saw she labeled every single item with the person's name I gave her, down to the toppings for each order of pancakes. The entire order was 100% correct, despite my last minute, complex call in order first thing in the morning. And it was delicious! Sunday at 10 a.m. before the church crowd. My wife and I were told 5-10 minutes before we could sit at our table. 20 minutes later we were brought to a booth that could comfortably fit a party of 4, walking past a couple settings for 2 people. There were groups of 4 waiting for a table, but whomever was assigning seats apparently had a difficult time sitting people in appropriate tables efficiently. By the time we sat down, our server immediately acknowledged us, but spoke very poor English. We asked for OJ and water, and later placed our order. That was challenging, because we had to find other ways to ask for things like "eggs fried hard" and "skim milk". I later learned this iHOP only serves 2% and rather than bringing it out with our meal like we asked, he brought it out immediately. In the time it took for us to place our order and recieve our food, the couple next to us asked for their check, paid it, a new couple sat down, ordered their food, and finished a couple cups of coffee, recieved their food, and ate half of it. More than 20 minutes after placing our order (I timed it), we finally recieved our breakfast. The order was correct, but my silverware still had food on it from a previous customer. I then started eating and noticed a long black hair on my bacon (I'm bald). I sent them back and the server returned and asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. Rather than coming to us on his own, he sent our server to address the issue. We declined, realizing it's not our server's fault. Another manager then approached us and took my meal off of our check and gave us coupons for our next visit. Overall, a poor experience. Our server was very nice and hard-working, but clearly his leadership is lacking and his support at the hostess and kitchen levels are sub-standard. read more

We will never be back.... we go every week to eat dinner with friends. We usually will have 9 of us. Today was no different. We came in at 6:20 pm... ordered our food.. and sat for over an hour. When some of the food arrived it was cold. The wait staff kept blaming the kitchen and that they were too busy... however we watched our waiter serving the table behind us.. second helpings and attending to their every need. It's been a while since I've update my review here. I've been back a bunch of times since and never had issues. This last trip I was in the mood for breakfast and dinner. So what did I get? Chicken fried steak on the breakfast menu. With this you get pancakes hash browns, and eggs. How can you go wrong with that? With the dinner you get mashed potatoes and veggies. Bla.
