Blueberry pancakes
Daniel B.

Great service, delicious food, and exactly what you'd expect from an ihop. The hot chocolate was HUGE, the blueberry pancakes were loaded with blueberry toppings and cooked to perfection, and the breakfast burrito hit all the right savory notes. Can't go wrong with ihop - and this is one of the best locations in the area.

Always a great spot for all day breakfast. Love that they leave a coffee carafe on the table so you can serve yourself

Came here with our work group and had a great time! It's a standard IHOP, but I really appreciate their ability to cater to such a large groups. We had maybe 20 people there at once? Our food came out fast and was absolutely delicious!!! IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC

My first time coming to this location was seated right away. The staff was nice and didn't have to ask for water. It was brought to the table a few minutes after being seated. Ordered the breakfast sampler and coffee. The food was nice and hot. The establishment was clean and will definitely return.

My experience at this IHOP wasn't too bad! I came for Sunday brunch so I expected a long wait since other locations would have tons of parties waiting for a table but it only took about 10 minutes to be seated. There's a parking lot beside the restaurant and even with parking, I only waited about 5 minutes. There are lots of servers but service was kind of slow. It was hard to get their attention which was expected since it was busy but they were very nice! I love IHOP for their pancakes and I always have to get something that would let me have a side of pancakes so I opted for the country fried steak which came with 2 eggs and hash browns along with 2 pancakes. The country fried steak was delicious! It was so tender and juicy on the inside and fried perfectly on the outside. I like that they gave the gravy on the side so it kept the steak crispy! The hash browns are another favorite side and it had a great crispy outer layer. The pancakes are always so soft, fluffy and delicious! I also like their new line of burgers so I got the jalapeño kick burger which was actually really good! It was juicy and had a great crunch from the crispy bacon and tomatoes. The slight kick of heat from the jalapeños also added a great flavor contrast. Plus, I added one of my eggs in it and it just made it even better! The fries were pretty mediocre. They don't give a lot of them and they weren't too crispy either. There's the option of having fries or hash browns so I recommend choosing hash browns instead. Too bad pancakes aren't a side for burgers. IHOP is definitely one of the most classic breakfast/brunch spots for me but they also serve other entrees as well, which often come with a side of pancakes too. My experience at this one in particular was pretty decent so I'd definitely come back!

service was awful, this women was going to be our server but she got mad we took a bit of time to get all the orders right since we were a party of 8 and so she stopped helping us and had us waiting for 20 mins until we called someone else because we saw her picking up plates instead of coming to us again to take the order after we called her various times. The other waiter he was really nice and had patience. The food was alright nothing to crazy.

I love ihop! Some are a miss but this location never fails. I switch up my meals depending on my mood. But it's always good, friendly and fast service.

Wonka burger but without avocado. I already need it again

This burger has no business being so damn good!!! Service was excellent as it always is.

Real whipped cream or stabilizer?
Daniella S.

Me and the Neeners were all bout the IHOP this AM and so here we find ourselves chowing down on mass produced pancake batter, whip cream with stabilizers and faux maple syrup, not to mention watered down coffee and carton eggs. I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like them Sam I am. Would you like them in an IHOP, would you like them with a mop? I think people come here for the comfort food they believe they will find and the very cheap prices. But I come here due to my amnesia as to just how much fake food this is and how fake it tastes. Also, I just feel that the dishes and flatware are way too undercleaned and I do not dare look beneath the table...

Don't remember the name but basically a meat lovers omlette

Found a piece of hair inside of my parent's hash brown. They didn't apologize. What a service.

They are attentive and courteous, even when they are super busy. They expanded their menu since they renovated the interior. I still stick for the classic Greek fare like chicken souvlaki and gyros. Their French fries are soo good! Their breakfast omelet with home fries are also so good. My friend said Louie's eggs Benedict is the best and therefore she never orders it anywhere else. Highly highly recommend! Owned by a lovely family!

Omelet & Home Fries desperately needed seasoning on all levels. Chicken and Lemon Rice Soup was adequately flavored with a nice pucker but the Olive Oil used was flowery and overpowered the delicacy of this soup. The Grilled Chicken Salad (lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes) on it's own was DELISH. The Caesar dressing that was different but edible, a little on the sweet and thin side. Thankfully, had some Homemade Caesar at home to compensate. Also, had a TEC (Turkey, freshly sliced off the bone, Egg (scrambled), and Cheese (Cheddar) on a large, pillowy roll. Enjoyable. Service...1 person put a SOUR taste in our mouths. Was immediately greeted by everyone, except the older lady who was supposed to take our order. We LITERALLY stood in front of the register for almost 10 minutes, while she greeted and helped EVERYONE around, on the side & behind us. An older jovial man finally greeted us and was apologetic and swift. If it wasn't for the long morning and afternoon we had, we would've taken our money elsewhere! It stayed busy and packed so get there early. They do try to be efficient when seating. Overall, we could give them another opportunity to see if the "selective service" by that 1 team member was a one-off! Street parking.

Well, I'm not sure how much the city of Roslyn has to offer though, so maybe it's the place to be as it got pretty packed as the evenings went on. I went once for dinner and had a pretty good shrimp cocktail with large shrimp and bland cocktail sauce, even with the extra horseradish. My seared tuna was overcooked, but had a nice flavor. Seared usually means some type of crusty charred goodness, but this didn't have it. The chai creme brûlée was good, but the sugar wasn't torched properly and didn't have that snap, crackle or pop which is what it's supposed to have. On a second night I went for cocktails which were $20 a pop! Yes, it was a bit pricey, but they were well made... with the exception of not having a luxardo cherry in "The Brooklyn". The staff was friendly and remembered me from the night before. They have a pretty good menu, and also a separate Indian menu and seemed to be a place for some local celebrations going on. Good (not great), pricey and very close to my hotel room!

The restaurant, Gatsby's Landing, draws its name from the romantic nostalgia of The Great Gatsby. Situated near the Long Island Sound and Roslyn Pond, the setting offered a beautiful waterfront ambiance. My wife opted for the Baby Roasted Beets Salad, Salmon, and Crème Brûlée, while I chose the Lobster Bisque, Squid Ink Tonnarelli, and Tiramisu. The menu highlights their commitment to fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients - a promise they certainly delivered on. The dishes were both delicious and generously portioned. It was clear the kitchen doesn't skimp on quality; for instance, the lobster bisque was loaded with tender lobster meat, the squid ink tonnarelli featured an abundance of blue crab, and the salmon was a substantial, thick-cut fillet. The chef clearly possesses a mastery of technique, knowing exactly how to pair garnishes and balance flavors in perfect harmony. Furthermore, the waitstaff was both diligent and courteous. We can see why this establishment is so popular--the combination of exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and the serene lake views is hard to beat. However, there is one area for improvement: the restaurant should consider replacing their current chipped plates with larger, more elegant dinnerware. High-quality presentation would better reflect the dignity and caliber of the food they serve.

I want to preface with the rooms were nice and clean and we had no complaints in that area. The…read moreissue came with the interactions with the front desk employees on this past Sunday 5/24. We were there for a wedding and had gotten to the hotel around 8am to the brides room. The rest of the bridal party went downstairs to check in, because the link sent to our email to check in early was not working for us (it worked for others just not us for some reason). Check in was at 3 but as we had all gotten emails to check in early and couldn't, we went downstairs to check in. We understood that our room would not be ready until 3 but just wanted to pre check in as I've done MANY times before at other hotels. When we went down to the front desk to request this, the young woman working the desk was EXTREMELY rude WITH an attitude telling us that we aren't able to check in because they didn't have rooms yet. I explained that we dont need a room yet but that we got emails to check in early and it didn't work for us and we weren't going to be back until 1am. She responded again rudely telling us we can't check in with an annoyed facial expression. On top of that, we had mini gift bags that all the guests were to receive when they got to the hotel as the hotel had room blocks for the wedding. They were given to the front desk with the request to put them in the rooms for those there for the wedding. We were told this was no problem, as guests were arriving they had the bags behind the desk and started handing out multiples to each person even though the instructions were one per room and to be in the rooms. One of the guests went up to the front desk explaining to the women that they were supposed to be in the rooms already and one per room (again as we were told they can do this earlier in the day). She rudely, with an attitude, told her that "they don't do that" and they'll hand them out when guests are checking in "if they remember". Overall, the main issue was the lack of professionalism from the front desk women who were extremely nasty and miserable.
