I usually have a great experience at ihop but tonight was such a horrible one. The server was rude, she didn't put in the order for a couple that was apart of our party, and after all that the manager Octavio said "there's nothing I can do". After a while of arguing with the manager he finally was apologetic about the service. After telling us that they were supposed to close soon it still doesn't matter when you have more customers coming in after a college graduation. There was an additional order that was taken and that order came before the original couple on our party received their food! Now come on. I don't bash any place because I want to retaliate. I complain because this isn't how customers should be treated. This is the last time I come here. By the way.... check the rest of the reviews about this place, I'm not the only one. In my opinion they always have the best breakfast Especially the pancakes! The strawberry cheesecake is my personal favorite. If not that I always enjoy the country fried streak with eggs and bacon. This location is my favorite ihop to go to specifically because not only is it near both my work and home, the customer service and crew there have such a welcoming and loving attitude you can feel the love. The food was super yummy and great it's too bad the service was poor. Our waitress went to the back to help out in the kitchen. .. So she says and didn't tell us anything and handed us to another waitress and that waitress was terrible. She came to the table once and took forever to bring my son his pancakes. My Son's birthday breakfast was a bust in the service department. They made my Son late to school since we were stuck for over an hour waiting for any little thing. Goodluck future Customers!! Ok. Been here many times and the food is usually decent and the service ok. But after today I won't be going back. My son asked for the all u can eat pancakes. The lady gave him a menu and said pick from this. He did. After that he got a different meal. When he asked for the pancakes, he was told he ordered from the wrong menu. The menu she gave him. Fantastic staff! The girls were so attentive and sweet....they made our experience great. Free food for kids under 12. We went around 4:30PM during the week and there was hardly anyone there, it was pretty nice. The food was the key-it was well cooked, juicey, the drinks were delicious and my son ate everything since it was that good. I recommend this Ihop over a lot of the of the other ones in this area on food alone, but the staff is why I will go back. read more

Every time I choose to this location there is a problem with my order, this mornings adventure was no different, never got my side of sausage so finally cancels it and the waitress who brought our drinks tried to tell me the French vanilla creamer was dairy free, when I showed her the label clearly says contains milk, she shrugged it off. When I'm in the mood for IHOP, I think I'll just go the few extra miles and enjoy my breakfast at the San Dimas location. read more

I will never take my family here again. No one offered us drinks when we sat down and no one ever came back to take our order. This was not during the busy breakfast rush either, all the tables around us were empty. We got up and went to the register and asked the manager for a number to call and file a complaint. She didn't say a word to us, no smile, no 'Is there anything I can help you with?'...NOTHING. She turned and grabbed a piece of paper and wrote the number for me and handed it to me without saying a word still. Not sure I can mention the managers name here, but we were there on June 4th around lunch time. I'm not sure who trains these IHOP associates, but they just lost a family of five who tips well. Our family was glad IHOP came to town. We live right on the hill above from Ihop. We have eaten here 3 times and every time was horrible. The first the manager comp our check because the service was so bad. For a family of 4 it cost about $45.00 and that is not including a tip. Came here on a Wednesday morning to celebrate my fiancés birthday. It was an overall okay experience. The place was empty with about six tables full when we got there. Waited for about 5minutes until someone finally showed up and sat us(party 4). The manager took our drink order and looked like she didn't want to be there and then our server came and was friendlyish, which I guess is somewhat understandable since it looked like she was the only one there for all the tables. The food was good but lacked a little flavor. The strawberry cheesecake pancakes had no cheesecake flavor at all which sucked and my chicken florentine crepes had almost no chicken. She gave my fiancé a free birthday sundae and said happy birthday which was nice. But overall just an okay experience. Would rather find another ihop to go to. read more

Me and my husband came to have lunch, I asked waitress to please make sure they butter toast (they usually only put a dab of butter) when they brought out my food I noticed in stead of butter on my toast they spread mashed potato, REALLY!!!! I hardly ever order ahead through the phone; Yasmin did excellent at delivering wonderful customer service both through the phone and in person. She is an excellent server unlike the first one my mom and I were "greeted" by. I believe her name is Miriam. She was extremely rude and in a terrible mood. I understand that we are human and have personal things going on in life but that is not the customer's fault. I came in today with my boyfriend for breakfast while my dogs were being bathed at the PetSmart near by. I live in rancho so I'm not from this area and we just decided to grab food out here rather than drive home. We were greeted right away and I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and it was super clean. By the time I came back out my boyfriend had already been seated. Our server was Genesis (her name was on the receipt) and she got our drink orders right away and the food came out almost immediately, it was crazy I've never had faster service before! My boyfriend got the marshmallow coffee and I got the pumpkin one but it was a lot stronger than the marshmallow so Genesis switched it out for me with no problem! She was quick and efficient and checked to make sure we were happy and always had refills. I have been working in restaurants since I was 14 and I have to say that Genesis really surprised me! I didn't expect such great service during a breakfast rush at IHOP but I am happily proven wrong! Thank you Genesis!!! read more

Worst service ever. We eat at IHop often so I decided to join the member club. I received a coupon for a free stack. The coupon was for our closest location which is Rio Rancho in Pomona. This is not the typical IHop atmoshphere. The service was slow and unfriendly. When I presented the coupon the server said she had to ask her manager if they would honor it. The manager Brenda refused to honor the coupon. Now why send a coupon if it is not going to be honored? I will not return to this location. Horrible service. read more

This morning I went to IHOP and at first everyone was very welcoming then when I sat down my server slowly started to ignore me it was not busy at all so when I start asking other people for help the server came to my table 3 times one to take my order Second time was to give me my food and the third time to give me my bill when I've only been there for about 30 minutes that to me seemed a little rude The server should be trained a little bit more and try to pretend she has manners i actually I was gonna leave a $25 tip just to pay it forward but that didn't happen I did talk to the manager Brenda she was very sweet and kind she was very caring about the situation I will definitely go back just because the manager Brenda and maybe sit in a different section this time. I've come here on a few occasions and the food is Ihop quality and comes out on time, but the customer service is terrible. I'm usually not too picky on that especially for an Ihop, but I just found it to be unacceptable. Your waiter will more than likely interact with you four times, take your drink order, deliver your drinks and take your order, and last deliver your meal and give you your check then and there so they "won't forget". If you need them any other time then good luck, because they will disappear never to be seen again making it hard to get refills, togo boxes, or anything else. read more

Ihop, Ihop, Ihop, what more can I say. I love it so much that I think i'll write a poem today. I gave it a rating of a five, because the taste of there food can't hardly be described. My husband and I decided we wanted to take our kids out for a meal, so we went to Ihop cause they had a great deal. Yes a great deal. A great deal indeed. From 4-10 pm all kids eat free. With food that was fresh and prices that were slashed, and a our waitress had good customer service. She brought our food out hot, fresh and in a flash. The taste of the food was so good like a refreshing dip in a lake. I ordered some of there new cupcake pancakes. I mean they were so delicious, oh boy im telling you. And the eggs, the bacon and the sausage were all cooked perfectly too! I may sound like a cheer leader but those pancakes were number one. Yes Ihop is hands down the best cafe in the world and that's hands down and bar none. If I could I would personally thank the founder for my food always tasting good, fresh, and never crappy. My six-year-old son loves IHOP and this is a nicer, newer, and less crowded location than the Chino IHOP, so we gave it another shot. Previously we had a bad experience with poor service, but I am pleased to report that today's experience was quite the opposite. Service was friendly and efficient. Our order was correct and the food was good. Our server checked on us frequently, and brought the check early so we could pay when we were ready.
