Our Server today, Kaylee, was the best! It was crazy crowded, late Saturday breakfast crowd during Thanksgiving weekend but she was festively friendly, high energy and very attentive. The gurl knew what she was doing, let me tell you. Everyone's orders were spot on. The cooks also were on game because our wait from order to delivery was short. The food was hot and tasty. I know part of your satisfaction comes from ordering what you like but mine was exactly what I had the hunger for today. My husband and I visited IHOP at the Indiana, Spokane Valley location on 4/11/2022 at 4:30 pm for dinner. We have eaten there several times in the past 2 years. While we have had to send back our meals due to them being cold upon arrival before, yesterday was disappointing on a new level. We ordered turkey dinners. The server brought them without mashed potatoes explaining the potatoes would be coming in a few minutes. 15-20 minutes later, we were finished with our meals when the potatoes arrived. Our server explained that the kitchen had to make them from scratch. We sent the potatoes back since we were done eating with no use for them at that point. Typically the manager wishes the customer well after the bill is paid and heading toward the door. There seemed to be a new manager at the counter on the phone the entire time we were up front. He made no friendly gesture toward us the entire time and we left feeling ignored, with a bad taste in our mouth. We are concerned about the restaurant not surviving if teamwork and hospitality is lost. There are many dining choices in Spokane Valley and I hesitate to recommend IHOP to my friends having lost confidence in the integrity of staff and management. What a difference from my review over 2 years ago. After finishing up a medical procedure at the Providence Medical Park close by, I decided a breakfast was in order. Since my last visit at this location was pretty darn good, I went again. Not anymore, sorry. My order was taken at 9:29 and delivered at 9:58. Granted the place was busy and my waiter certainly had his hands full as it appeared wait staff were bussing their tables as well as waiting on them. I posted picture of my omelette which turned out to not be the best of choices. Would certainly not order again. And it took nearly 5 minutes to receive a go box after my request for one. Again, wait staff covering too may tables as well as bussing same. Too many good breakfast places in the area to settle for $2.49 coffee and mediocre meal. read more

During the hard Covid time we have been here twice and the food was great as well as he service. They have been taking great care of their customers. Thank you for that. Having said that we stopped for the 3rd time as we came back to town from a trip to Montana. We are all dealing with the mask stuff. No one likes it but we all have to do it. As a business you have to follow the rules and require a mask until you are seated and eating. So was not happy to see someone that worked there have family stop in and come in a side door and head to a table to sit without a masks on. Sorry but they are no more important than the rest of us. We all have to wear one. That could cause IHOP to loose a license or be fined. So IHOP please have a chat with your employees. read more

When you travel with 4 kids it is sometime best to use the path of least resistance. Short of the Krispy Kreme right down the street, IHOP is pretty much it! What can I say? Our largish party was seated immediately on a Saturday morning. We were served quickly and efficiently. Food was completely adequate in taste and serving size. Went there Lunch on 7/24, a host didn't know how to work. Stand infront of register for 10 mins, and most employees with the host stared at me, but not willing to help to get a table. Just ignored me. Bad customer service ever. Wouldn't come back this location because of this ignorance of customers. A manager needs to get them a training for customer service. read more

I should have left after seeing how disgusting the ladies bathroom was. The floor was so dirty and sticky and it looked as though it hadn't been swept or mopped in weeks. The ice tea glasses were so dirty I was afraid to touch my lips to it. The bread was dry on our turkey and Swiss sandwich. My young daughters and I went for mid-morning breakfast on Thursday, 7/17/14. Its one of their favorite breakfast places. The dining room at the (northeast) corner of the restaurant was EXTREMELY cold. So cold, my hash browns were chilled long before my meal was done. My daughters (ages 6 and 8) commented there had been some changes. The Funny Face pancakes had no cherries on the whipped cream eyes, as the menu shows and the Rooty Tooty had very little strawberry topping. It was interesting they would notice the change. The MOST disappointing factor was that I had taken my (very nice) Starbucks travel cup in with me and forgot it when we departed. I went in the following day to get my cup and the waiter told me to look in the cabinet under the register. I rifled through the sunglasses, hats and other typical "lost and not found items" and didn't find it. He merely exclaimed, "oh well, I guess its not there, then" as he walked away. I was really hoping for a nicer, perhaps more caring, response. Nobody asked, "where were you sitting? who helped you? what day were you in" Nothing. Looks like we got served alright. We will be finding a different place to call our favorite breakfast place. read more

I have eaten at this place a few times in the past and have had a mixed opinion. This time however I must say that the ham and cheese omelet I ordered with a side of fruit was delicious! :D The menu is well organized and there is practically a picture for everything. The place stays pretty busy especially around 9:30am to lunch time. I would recommend this place for family and groups of friends to meet up. Second time coming here due to the other location being closed. First time, my to go omelette was hard, cold and dry like it was left out for hours. We picked it up as soon as it was due to be done. Tonight we went and we found a long blond hair in the pancake, the bacon was undercooked and very floppy and the other cupcake pancake meal had a very bad flavor like something was expired inside. Horrible service and food was sub par from previous ihops I have been too. Waiter forgot multiple things order 2 coffees he brought 1, meal ordered came with pancakes no pancakes when meal came. Waiter never came to even check on us after food came so we could tell him he forgot something we informed him when he brought the check, and even then he dropped the check and ran away had to yell at him to get him to stop and come back. Never going to this ihop again I was warned about it but went anyway big mistake don't go trust me find another diner nearby dont waste your money. Excellent customer service! Very clean inside, including the bathrooms which were immaculately clean. Stellar, prompt service, food was excellent, and arrived in a timely manner. Wonderful place to take the kiddos on the weekend for breakfast in the a.m. since they are well stocked for booster seats and high chairs (very very well stocked actually). They offer a military discount as well (10%??). Looove their pancakes, so moist and fluffy! Wish they still carried Boysenberry syrup though, they discontinued that syrup a year or 2 ago, unfortunately. The manager was on the floor actually working, unlike alot of other managers at other establishments who milk the time clock. Wonderful place to take the family for any meal (B,L or D). Even though it's a chain restaurant, it's still 5 stars for how well they presented themselves as a restaurant offered to customers in the community. Oh, and they had a billboard when you walk in showing how involved they are in the community (community service work). It's hard to go wrong at IHOP - breakfast all day, pancakes, lunch items and new to me - iced coffee that has unlimited refills! Yum! The hubs and I visited on a Saturday around 2pm - a good time to go. Busy enough that they are well staffed but not too busy to get good service - which we did. Attentive without hovering and never having to wait for a refill of coffee or pancakes (they are having the all you can eat promo). I had possibly the best omelet I've ever had! Good size, fluffy fluffy fluffy and tasty with just the right amount of ham chunks and cheese. This was the "hearty" ham and cheese so perhaps that is why it was so good - and they added a bit of sour cream that upped the flavor perfectly. I also enjoyed hot hashbrowns with a bit of country gravy. The hubby had the bacon & eggs with the pancakes - which were hot and fluffy and perfect - especially with warm syrup which you can request - another thing I didn't know! read more

Greasy, poor quality food, badly cooked, tiny portions. The sausage tasted like fried Pink Slime, my scrambled eggs like some type of premix and the hash browns were swimming in grease and cold by the time I got them. The bacon was tasteless and the most disappointing part of our Breakfast Sampler. I ordered a side of toast and only got one piece sliced in half -- I've always gotten two slices of toast everywhere else I've ever gone. Our server was impersonal and seemed overly rushed for a fairly quiet weekday morning (Friday 10 am). I was still ordering and she was trying to run off. Even my 14 year old son commented on the tasteless food and bad coffee. To top it off it was noisy -- I can handle kids, but the staff laughing in the back, yelling "DOOR" every time they went into the kitchen and running by our table to check if we had paid yet even though we were still eating. I can't imagine why this place is still in business. We won't be coming back. read more

I had french toast with added strawberrys nice fluffy and seemed a bit cold but it was good enough for me to look past that aswell of a side of hashbrowns that was crispy warm and needed little pepper and well portioned.
