This was a terrible experience! First we get our food and there's a hair(will insert picture at end) in my mothers eggs! Then the waiter took it to the back after touching it and took the hair off and were pretty sure she just heated it up a little more and brought it back to us and it was hard to cut into. And the french toast has a disgusting after taste like it was cooked with a mystery meat!?!? And at the very end the waiter gives us the wrong check. Throughout the service she was just blatant rude and the food was cold. It was also dirty. They say they'll put on smile on my plate but there wasn't one on my plate or my face!

The service was very very very slow. After we got seated no one came to take our order until 15-20 min later even after we got up & asked for a server. Very short staff & unprofessional. When we finally got served the food was good.

I have always loved this location. I got my little one, hot cocoa and the birthday cake pancake combo. As for me, I got my usual, steak tips and eggs w/ hash brown with tres leeches pancakes. I was surprised...when I was almost done eating a new batch of pancakes was brought to my table, no arguments here . Apparently the cook thought they forgot to send my original pancake order. I informed the waitress who was assisting my waiter, that I already had mine and she stated that, it is on the house in the case.....SCORE!. my waiter was so friendly and he was just an overall positive person.

Not my favorite but the kid loves the fruity toppings. There was confusion as to who had who's table. The gentleman kept getting things mixed up but not his fault. The food was mediocre and inexpensive. Would have to get to go next time. Can't do the dining in .

My fiancé and I ate here and we had the BEST customer service. Thank you Nina for being so kind and enthusiastic! The food was good but I'd come back just because of Nina and her fabulous personality. We ordered the hot chocolate, black tea, and Wednesday's pancakes. Delicious! Great late night snack. Food came out super quick and we were not rushed out. Definitely visit here and ask for Nina!

A bartender greeted me and gave me water. For my drink, I took the chocolate old fashioned (13 dollars). It was strong enough and chocolatly to enjoy. For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. When it was time to check out and pay, I noticed they forgot to charge me for my drink. When I mentioned that, they told me not to worry about it. It was a very nice gesture from them. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. The Fat Rabbit pub provides great casual bar food in a social atmosphere. The indoor dining is large enough to feel comfortable, and outdoor seating is also there if you want to enjoy with your dog. I am glad I chose this place again as it was near my hotel. Definitely coming back for more great bar food at reasonable prices. Overall: A

The restaurant is a little on the small side. Luckily, it was a slow and rainy afternoon, so we were able to find seating. The staff was really nice and took our order immediately. The digital menu is nice and clear. Everything was freshly-made. They had Dude Wipes on the tables, which was very appreciated. The Goods: 1) Egg Bacon Beef Burger Combo ($18.99- includes a drink and seasoned fries)- I need to start with the fries. These are the fries I dream of all of the nights that I'm truly craving fries. It has the perfect crunch with a softer middle with the perfect cajun seasoning (think of a perfected fry from Checkers). These were truly the star of the show. It was love from the first crunch. The burger- first off, it was a very tasty burger. Some mentioned it's a halal burger. Overall, it was yummy with a nice seasoning, and I do recommend it. I LOVED the bun- it was really delicious. The shortcomings on my burger were this: I was really craving caramelized onions, but I felt like my burger had hardly any onions at all, and they certainly weren't caramelized. Also, the burger itself was OVER well-done. I understand not giving customers a choice on the level of doneness, and cooking it well-done... but this burger was very, very, very cooked. The seasoning on the burger saved it, but it was still a bit too cooked for me. My mom felt the same about her burger (she also ordered the Egg Bacon). Overall, my visit to Burger Vault was enjoyable. I would definitely stop by again for at least the fries and kind service.

However, dieting in 2024 has me cutting down on fried foods and fast foods in moderation and substituting healthier options. However, I love burgers and won't let myself eat them unless it's the occasional Burger-Fi or Shake Shack (I do love Wendy's on occasion) After reading and lurking on The burgers subreddit, the Midwestern Wisconsin Burger chain is really making headlines for it's made to order food. I was on Tampa and had done mid-day time to kill, do I found myself a Culver's, I'd been waiting for a year to get into one. The food is made to order, so the take out lines can be longer than your microwaved McDonald's crap. I ordered a "Butter Burger" thier famous burger with whatever options I wanted, pickles, mustard, Wisconsin cheddar, mayo, and grilled onions. It was the best fast food burger I've ever eaten, maybe besides In-N-Out?!? I also got spicy fried cheese curds, which were heavenly! The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.

I had the absolute privilege of dining at Tampa Bays best kept burger secret for lunch yesterday…read more The Culinary Operations Academy is part of Chamberlain High Schools vocational curriculum and has been preparing students for careers in the restaurant industry for many years. Started by Chef Erik Youngs, the program is sponsored by Outback Steakhouse. Students have the opportunity to learn front of house, back of house and everything in between while running an actual restaurant on a daily basis. I graduated from Chamberlain several U.S. Presidents ago. Walking down the hallowed 300 Hall took me for a trip down memory lane. Nothing has changed...except for the Outback branded entrance to the C.O.A restaurant hidden just of off to the side of the main hallway. Once inside the restaurant, the look and feel is that you are inside a legitimate Outback Steakhouse. No green and gold in this room, just the familiar purple and wood-grain decor you'd expect from the famous steakhouse. I feasted on the C.O.A Signature Burger. Two 100% beef patties with "Signature Sauce", caramelized onions, two strips of bacon with cheese, lettuce, tomato and pickles. These kids got it right! No kidding, this is a contender for the best burger in town. For only $5, you can't go wrong. My girlfriend got the C.O.A. Style Cuban Sandwich which features Tampa's own La Segunda Bakery authentic Cuban bread. Pressed between roast mojo pork, sweet ham, pickes, swiss cheese and mustard this is the sandwich that made Tampa famous. With so many other restaurants, food trucks and gas stations fail King with their version of the Tampa classic, it is nice to see that the students are being taught the right way to make a Cuban. Again, this sandwich is among the best in town. Can everybody visit this restaurant? Yes, but it helps if you know a student that is in the program so that you can keep track of the operating hours. Currently, the restaurant is only open Wednesday-Friday during select lunch hours. The are definitely closed on school holidays, testing days and summertime. You MUST sign in at the Main Office before wandering the hallways and a picture ID is required. I give this restaurant five stars because it is a five star program.
