After waiting what seemed to be a million years, we finally received our food. However, my order was wrong (I asked for the chicken fried steak and was given a chicken crepe...) and after politely telling our waitress, she rudely told me that was my order. Eventually, she fixed it but forgot my pancakes. Welp. We had to ask (multiple waitstaff, multiple times) for sugar and creamer, ketchup and our beverages - even water! I prefer Denny's, but if I'm around the Southcenter Mall area, IHOP will do. Extra bonus for being open 24 hours! Watch out for National Pancake day where you get an order of pancake for free, I'm not sure the exact date, but it usually falls around February or March. There is a cut off time though at 10pm so make sure you leave enough time to get seated by then because it does get busy on this day, with it being less busy the later it gets so most likely you have be safe coming in a couple minutes before the cut off time. I don't think there's anything on the menu that is under 1000 calories, but you don't come to IHOP to try to eat healthy. Let's be real. Breakfast is served all day and night. There's other things than breakfast though, you could get a bunch of burgers/sandwiches with fries combo. The later you come, the more drunk people you will be surrounded by, but it doesn't matter because you yourself will probably be too drunk to notice. Haha. Service is turtle like, slow and steady. I waited forever to be able to ask for water, in the first place. It's a great place to take your grandma. That's what I did! Not too many healthy options. Yes, it's IHop and yes I know it goes hand in hand with Dennys and Sherri's and the like but I just assumed everyone was on the healthy band wagon and offering a few more options than they were back in the day. This isn't the first review ever so I have to skip the details about quality of food (sub par), ambiance (again, it's Ihop) and decor. The nitty gritty: I asked for my mushroom, spinach egg white omelette to be accompanied ON THE SIDE with avocado and salsa. Not dowsed. Yes, I would LOVE to send this back and have it as I ordered because I didn't actually want a sort of breakfast sloppy joe...but will I? NO. Why? Because it took FOREVER to get water, then tea, then my food (which came 40 mins after ordering. So, I'll eat the a slop and right a piss poor review. Done. Did I mention I had my almost 1 yr old baby with me and it turns out, he's not much of a fan for long waits? Additionally, maybe even a bright note for the super duper grandpa's out there-the soap dispensed in the bathroom gives your hands the fresh scent of a mixture between both aftershave AND shaving cream. Maybe not so good for people in relationships with trust issues though. I smell like a man in his 50's. LOVE IT. I noticed not very good review but for me it was a great experience. I admitted it is a long wait especially on weekend. We went there on Sunday before shipping for shoes around that area. I longed for pancakes and chicken fried steak. It was not disappointed at all. The chicken fried steak was very crisp outside and juicy inside. It was cooked perfectly for me . This is a new IHOP that just had their grand opening around the Thanksgiving Holiday 2008. We went on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) arriving at around 11:30 AM. There was a 15 minute wait and the restaurant had been open since 5 AM that morning to accommodate the early bird shoppers. Since it was brand new we expected it to be clean and the staff to be pleasant even though this would be a really long day for most of them. We were not disappointed. Even though the restaurant was full, it was clean and in fact we received service from the most pleasant person in the room. Danielle easily earned her "no points lost" tip for her attitude, attention to details and speed of service. This was the best service experience we have had in at least the past 5 years. The food was right up our alley on this day. The 3 of us ordered omelets with pancakes. One order was from the light fair (IHOP For Me) back page of their menu. You should note that all items had nutritional information as a guide for those watching that sort of thing. Each order was prepared perfectly. Portions were generous on the non-light items and even the light order was enough to be quite filling. We had the Big Steak Omelet with 3 pancakes; the Country Omelet with toast in place of pancakes; IHOP For Me Garden Scramble Omelet with 2 pancakes. All were great. The food gets only a 4 out of 5 because it was traditional fair, nothing exceptional and nothing unexpected. Overall: service rates 5 out of 5 and food rates 4 out of 5. We would most definitely return to this IHOP. I cannot say the same for any of the other "older" IHOPs that we have tried so long ago. read more

I've been a fan of IHOPs' Spinach & Mushroom omelette with crispy hash brown. Mmm. It's amazing. I always come back for more! The portions are big, the prices are decent and the coffees have refills on them! Until we meet again IHOP! The only downside is the customer service here, I wish it was a tad bit better. When i first got sat down it took them a while to come take my order, but after the waiter took our order she was really nice, and attentive. I ordered the Colorado Omelette, it was an omelette with sausage, bacon, cheese, onions, peppers, and etc, and it also came with a side of salsa. I went there and presented my coupon from my phone , and they denied it. It literally says on the fine print PRESENT THIS COUPON WHEN ORDERING. The lady that was taking orders said they couldn't take it because it had to be printed out . It DOES NOT SAY ON THE COUPON that it has to be printed !!! Our table was covered with splashed water and the menus were plunked down in the puddles so that when I picked up the menu the water actually dripped in my lap. This was the worst experience at a restaurant in YEARS... The place was not busy. Only 4 tables were seated. My family and I place our order. Food was sub par. Cheese not melted. Hashbrowns were barely cooked. Then when we asked for hashbrowns that were actually golden brown we got dry burnt plate of crap. I could pick up the order of browns and throw it like a frisbee. First of all, this business is in Tukwila, not SeaTac. It's in one of the new strip malls near Southcenter Mall (near Nordstrom Rack, DSW, Ce Fiore, Chipotle, Petco, etc.) Does not look like a typical IHOP. Maybe because I have never seen an IHOP that was built within the last 20 years? This one actually looks less tacky - like an eaterie at the SeaTac airport after the renovation. The food I received from my mobile order was cold like it had been sitting under a light which makes sense since it took them 25 minutes beyond the quoted to go time. When I asked for a refund before receiving the food. The greeter disappeared for a couple minutes and came back with the food saying that he could not find a manager so I could not get my requested refund and pretty much put it as here's your food you can either take it or leave it but i was not going to get a refund. I took my family here for a late dinner. We were seated promptly. Service was good until 45 minutes later when we were still waiting for two cheese burgers a waffle and biscuits and gravy. When it did come,the pre cooked burgers were still frozen in the middle (yuck) the cheese was cold , the waffle was cold and the biscuits were Luke warm. There were approximately 8 tables and only one with food. There were people who ordered before us who were STILL waiting for their food after ours came. In Covid Times plagued by a lack of customer service, IHOP southcenter shines like a glistening stack of extremely hot pancakes. Every single employee was beyond friendly and helpful, we were told a 20 minute wait and they seated us within 10. High energy servers and hard working chefs made food appear on the table within 10 minutes. Multiple people checked in on us, we had a wonderful time. I really hope they compensate their incredible staff, this was a stand-alone customer service experience compared to other restaurants in Southcenter that are short staffed and overworked. Such an odd spot for a 24 hour IHOP but I'm not complaining because it sure hit the spot after a late night food craving after a movie at AMC down the street! Parking is super easy late at night as everything is around there is closed. Surprisingly this place is rather busy after 1am on a weekend. The place is so brightly lit it feels like its day time. The menus are new and refreshing in a way that I caught myself just smiling as I was browsing through trying to decide what I wanted to eat. Our greeter and server (totally forgot to catch his name - but he looks maybe half black or of a pacific islander decent) what ever he may be, he's nothing short of awesome. He had such a great attitude and smiled and joked and laughed with us from start to finish. The food came out in a timely manner, waters were refilled without asking. My pancakes were pretty bland, barely any chocolate chips :( The eggs were okay, not too much flavor though, and the sausage was pretty good. The bacon must've been alright too, cause it was gone as soon as it hit the table! We were going to order french toast to split as well, but got too full! It looked delicious though - so next time! Staff are usually nice but their service sucks. My family and I drove from Tacoma to the Ihop at south center to be seated fairly quickly. It was busy so we knew it would be some sort of wait before we would get our food. Understandable. What we didn't understand was why it took them 20mins to see if we got our drinks ordered yet. Another 15-20min to get our drinks. Water and juice might I add. Plus another 20-30 min for our food which I understand. My steak omelet came out cold, the sprinkled cheese on top wasn't even melted. My sisters chicken fried steak, COLD. My brothers fried chicken, COLD. The only thing that came close to hot/warm was the syrup. We stayed cuz we were starving. Should have went to Mc. This IHOP reminds me more of a buffet or a conference center lunch area rather than a restaurant. It's all pretty open and loud in there. Went in last Saturday morning and they were busy. Understandable. Hostess sat us at the table closest to the door which was a cold spot. After we were seated, we noticed the tip from the last customer was still on the table. I thought this was a mistake. I told the hostess about it and she said, "Oh, that's ok, the server will come get it." Hmm, I don't think you're supposed seat people at tables where the tip from the last customer is still on the table. It's unprofessional. So, we decided we didn't need to be cold while we tried to eat breakfast so we asked the hostess if we could move. She looked confused/offended but a manager who was nearby stepped in and moved us.
