What a horrible place, don't waste your time. I'll sum it up quickly. They didn't have what we wanted on the menu, I told the waitress no ice in my water and she brought ice, the coffee tasted like dirty bath water, the waitress acted like she hated her life, she did the bare minimum and barely spoke to us, then they charged us the wrong price for the food they did not have, and an extra charge for a dirty bath water coffee that we did not order - we ordered 2 not 3 cups which we barely drank because it was so bad. For medicore food and horrific service I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere. I told them to take off the coffee which they did but they lied and said our food was the same price as the food they charged us for which is a lie. I couldn't even be bothered to argue with these people, I couldn't wait to get out of there. Another place that I will never again attend. read more

This IHOP was ridiculously busy for a weekday morning. It made no sense but kudo's to them. There was an ok amount of seating for it being in a small town, and they arent too long with wait or seating for how busy the place is. Waiter said it always that way when I commented. Came here for a celebration breakfast after getting good news. Waitress was very friendly and informative when I had questions on which grills/fryers would be used for specific orders as I would not want food cross contaminated with meats. (Turns out I cant get the potatoes I prefer bc there would have been a cross over but I appreciate her knowing and informing me of this!) Ordered my California Scramble which was as good as usual and ordered what's typically an oldie but a goodie for the celebration- strawberry and cream stuffed french toast.. which was disappointing. I use to order this when I was younger and it was always great but this time it was a lot of bread and syrup which was very disappointing. Tasted more like syrup then strawberries or cream. We went today in a big group of people, about ten, around 4pm. It wasnt too busy since it's New Years Day. The service ended up being lousy. We understood there'd be a wait because we were a big group, but some of what happened shouldn't have. One of my friends asked the waitress 3 times for a cup of water, which went unfilled, while the waitress filled the other drink orders that were asked after that. It took about 35 minutes for the food to come, which was fine, but everyone got their dishes except me and my friend sitting next to me. We watched our friends chow down on their main dishes for 15 minutes, as well as their side dishes being served. Finally when we got our dishes, they had given me the wrong kind of pancakes, which i didnt fuss about because i liked them as well. My friend who also received her plate at the same was left with cold food. We complained a bit about the service and the waitress said it was the cooks fault. Soon after the manager came over and said he was docking some of the bill because of the service. Wasnt impressed today. read more

Went to IHOP in Williston Park for the first time in a long time. Huge sign $5.99 all you can eat pancakes. Said let's give it a try, my friend he ordered a sampler $15 and change. Myself just the pancakes for $5.99. Cup of tea and coffee. I requested a second set of pancakes. Took forever for the second set. Service was unusually slow, and the bill came along with the second set, it was for triple the amount. They didn't want to honor the advertisement and kept telling me I ordered 2 short stakes and had to pay. I was told I was wrong several times that I ordered the wrong pancakes? then I WAS told I needed to have ordered a $20 meal for them to honor the $5.99 price. This location is the bottom of the barrel. I had a coupon for a free fruity pancake stack for my birthday. Came in on my birthday realizing that only the bottom of the email printed? But it clearly was a birthday coupon... After waiting 10 mins on our waiter, we were told they couldn't redeem it by the manager who was just rude!!! Nevertheless we probably would've stayed out of pure hunger but turns out they only had one waiter working and it was getting packed. Did ourselves the favor and went elsewhere. This is by far the best IHOP I have ever been to. There was no wait, we were seated immediately, our order taken expeditiously, and we were served all within the first twenty minutes. Let me say this had to be the most unprofessional establishment I ever went to. The waitress who served me and my god-mother was completely rude and unprofessional. When the waitress took our orders the waitress tried to hurry up our order and when she took the menu away from us the waitress almost hit me with the menu and did not apologize. The waitress never asked us if we needed anything and never visited our table. The waitress would always check on families who brought a lot of people with them and we saw she would just be on her cell phone taking phone calls. I had to get up and get her in order for us to get a refill, refill of hot water for tea, or even napkins, and forks. My god-mother asked for the unlimited pancake special, and when the waitress took our order, my godmother told the waitress she did not want hashbrowns and never asked for them. The waitress's response was, "Will work something out." Who in heck says that as a waitress serving people??? We also felt uncomfortable and intimidated to ask for extra napkins and forks when we were asking for another set of pancakes. When the waitress gave us back the bill the waitress said that she took off the hashbrowns. But when we read the bill the waitress charged us double for a meal my god-mother never ordered. We pointed this out to the waitress and the waitress's response was, "Well that is what she ordered." I told the waitress, "My godmother never asked for hashbrowns and when you brought us the meal, my godmother told you that she did not want hashbrowns and your response to us was, will figure something out. We never wanted the hashbrowns and we won't pay for something nobody ate, especially since we told you we did not want them. And we told you when you brought the food to us to change it because it was a mistake. You said so earlier when you brought the receipt that it was a mistake as well." Then the waitress said, "If we change it, the bill will be more." Which turned out to not be true considering how the unlimited combo is $4.99. How can it be 10 dollars when it is a $4.99 meal. The waitress tried to charge us $23 dollars and the bill after pointing out the extra charge went down to $ 19 dollars so the waitress, therefore, is lying and trying to make a buck off of charging us more. This place is beyond unprofessional and if people hate their job or are not making the money they desire they should leave. This was honestly a terrible experience and ruined my dinner. read more

Be prepared to wait! Ok, so at first I was all like "why am I here" and then I remembered something really important: pancakes. This actually is one of the better IHOPS around, better food and way better service than the one on Northern Blvd. The manager took the reins on the Sunday downpour of customers and had everyone in and out of there all happy. This place is very popular on weekends, so you may have to wait for a while to be seated. I ordered a steak omelet. I didn't expect anything good, but it was actually very good. Weekday (thursday) breakfast was not so crowded here and yet they were still not the least attentative of all IHOPs. I think every IHOP I've been to has been low on service but the fare has always been standard. They forgot to put out water for us, but they did come by quicker than other waitstaff at other IHOPs. Who can screw up breakfast? They certainly provided picture perfect food. Parking is average to low. There were only 3 spaces left because a giant truck was unloading and took up 7 spaces. Perhaps if the truck wasn't unloading during the breakfast hour, then people who go to a breakfast place can park. read more

My family and friends have been comming here since since the 60's that makes it 51 years. I even worked here for a year, my first job while in Junior high as a bus boy. Same owner as it was a family owned business.The owner was at the register 7 days a week, hands on greeting his customers, walking to each table asking how things were and shaking your hand, thanking you as you were leaving. A great place to come to to eat. GREAT service. It was run with PRIDE as it was a family owned business, with knowledgeable, friendly staff. It was brought to my attention that it was recently sold. I was curious as I didn't see the original owners 2 sons who took over for dad and the staff has changed. New staff; very cold, unfriendly and indifferent. Everytime I asked for something they would tell me; "Oh we ran out or we no longer have this". No thank you, no thank you for comming. Food was good but service and selection has taken a hit. Horrible service i was standing at the front entrance for 3 mins because these two hostess wanted to laugh at videos in their phones. As far as ihop a gorge service here is the best, it's always clean, I have never waited more then 10 minutes for a table. The only complaint I would have is they need to learn how to make there turkey bacon crispy, and buy turkey sausage also they should really brew there own ice coffee instead of pouring out the diabetes inducing iced sugar they serve. I always have to ask for coffee and a cup if ice But as far as franchise restaurants go this place is great read more

This has got to be one of the cutest IHOPs I have ever been too. I couldn't help but to admire all of the beautiful colorful artwork that is displayed here. The service was wonderful. I have been to larger IHOPs with more staff on hand, and had to wait wayyy too long to place even a drink order. I was seated immediately and orders are placed then filled quickly. My server was kind and made suggestions here and there and was very accommodating to making changes to items from the menu. I can see parking being an issue if you come during a busier time, but otherwise this place is perfect. I can't eat at another IHOP after coming here. Food is very consistent here -- fluffy buttermilk pancakes, crispy hash browns, eggs cooked to order, a pot of coffee so you don't have to ask for refills. My main reason for the 3 stars is because of the service. I've been to this location twice now since moving nearby. The first time, the service was so so. It's a busy IHOP so it's understanding that service is slightly slow. The second time was not great. Our waiter wasn't bad but there were a few things that really bugged me. He didn't offer me a straw with my orange juice and he held the glass by the rim. I asked for extra napkins and he never got them for us. The food arrived quick, but he had his thumb pressed into my eggs and his fingernails didn't look clean so I cut off a chunk of my eggs because I didn't want to eat it. After the food came, he checked in with us once to bring us maple syrup, ketchup and hot sauce. He never came back again and we waited for a good while to ask for our check. There were other tables that were seated for a while and didn't have anyone to take their order down. I also saw that some folks would stack plates with food on top of each other which was a little off-putting. I don't know how clean their countertops are but I imagine any number of things besides the bottom of plates are touching it. I would definitely not hesitate to come here again but I would probably scrutinize their food handling practices. read more
