Food was good but it took a more than an hour to get food. We didn't even get cups of water or our drinks until 20 minutes in. Wouldn't come back to this location.

Came to IHOP today because Starbucks was shut down and I didn't know where to get some local coffee except for the fact that I saw a long time ago IHOP had a barista station so I decided to be extremely ambitious today and say screw it. Let's try it. Let me say my ambition has not done me wrong. The beautiful woman behind the counter with the braces and the beautifully braided hair hair made my caramel iced espresso today I told her I was a little bit nervous because I'm terrified of changing my coffee, but I'm willing to try something new she proceeded to make my coffee and I tried it. It was absolutely phenomenal. I have to say if you're tired of Starbucks or you just wanna switch up the coffee routine maybe come on over to IHOP and give it a try. Maybe we might have a new little coffee shop in our area. These girls are out here busting their ass and serving with a smile and honestly that brought my day more than Starbucks ever. Could my heart always belongs to Starbucks and it always will be a Starbucks fan, but the fact that I was able to go into IHOP this morning I was greeted with nothing but a beautiful smile and beautiful faces. They were all happy to help every customer that came in despite the fact that the whole place was full of customers, and not a single person had a bitter look on their face like the employees at Starbucks I'm not talking crap, but sometimes service taste better with a smile thank you IHOP for brightening my day and giving me my coffee fix

so today I went to ihop around 1pm, there was no wait to be seated, they took our drinks soon after they took us to our table but after receiving the drinks, we had waited for over 40 minutes to receive our meals, it seemed like only 2 people were really working, but the food was great just didn't like how I had to wait a while for my food but maybe its cus we had a table of 10. so if ur coming in as a big group be aware you might wait a while. The staff were very nice and professional tho

Finished off with the cheesecake which was also creamy and delicious! Highly recommend coming here for a date night, group gathering, or just a Friday night out! You won't be disappointed!

I bought a home in the desert two years ago and now live here full time. I came in solo on September 10th for a cocktail and a burger to go. I was feeling particularly down around 9/11, being from NYC and having been in the area when it happened, and just wanted to sit somewhere familiar and comfortable for a bit. I ordered a cocktail to stay and a cheeseburger to go, and the bartender immediately said, "The kitchen is busy, I don't think we can do a to-go order." I explained that I'm a local and have ordered food to go here many times and asked him to please check. Eventually he took the order, but the cocktail wasn't good and when I got home, the burger I specifically ordered well done was medium to medium rare. The point of hospitality is to be hospitable. I've been coming here for years, and I'm genuinely confused as to why ordering a burger to go became such a difficult and unwelcoming experience.

We missed our reservation time but decided to try a walk in because it was the whole reason we came into town in the first place. We were greeted by two really nice hosts who assured us there was room for us sooner than later and we were seated with our dog on the patio pretty quickly. They were so nice to us and doubly nice to our dog! We ordered fried eggplant, gazpacho, ceviche, a lamb burger, and got a lamb burger patty for the dog (we're not order food for the dog people but she was going through it too with the Walmart stuff so why not). We added a couple glasses of wine and their beer shandy and finished with a strawberry shortcake. Every bite was perfect but we rated them- Gazpacho, Lamb Burger, Eggplant, Ceviche. The gazpacho was a hit with the perfect amount of fresh/sweet cantaloupe and spicy-ness. This place was well worth the trip from Big Bear. My wife noted that everyone there that helped us legit looked happy to be there. There was also a medical emergency and the staff was so kind and helpful throughout and checked in on all the tables in the area afterwards. It kind of showed that they are invested in the people that visit.

We got really lucky - reservations open a month in advance, and we were headed to Joshua Tree the next day. I thought for sure I wasn't going to get a reservation and needed to think of a Plan B for date night. But I texted anyway, with an apology for it being so last minute, and they responded the day of confirming me for the next day! Yay! When we arrived, we asked for a seat inside, since it was super windy that day, and they were able to seat us within a few minutes. We got the butter lettuce salad (delicious), the socarrat (lots of peas and pea sprouts - this was AMAZING, and great the next day cold!), their version of bruschetta on their crispy thin bread - the bread was absolutely amazing. And we also got the tomato...um, I can't remember what it's called, but it has a base of sliced tomatoes, with hard boiled eggs, celery, and tuna aioli! Super refreshing on a super hot day. We also got a couple non-alcky drinks and left very happy. It was loud inside for sure - or, bustling, if we want to be more euphemistic. Service for us was a bit on the chilly side, but that might just be the night our server was having. There are 2 single-stalled bathrooms, and parking is very easy in the huge lot they have. I think we might circle back to this place after trying other eats around the area. This was a good time.

Yes it's pretty basic but what they do, they do really well. We decided to go for breakfast. I ordered three eggs, any style with hashbrowns and toast. This was $12.54. I do not eat meat and often times having just eggs is not even an option.. I asked for my toast to be well toasted and all of this was executed well. The eggs were cooked as I had ordered, there was not a hint of grease on the plate. There was no taste of stale fat which you often get when the kitchen are not changing the oil as often as they should. My toast was very brown as I had asked, often times I'll ask for well toasted bread and it will come out not well toasted at all! I server told me that the owner had cooked my breakfast, which I guess is an honor lol My boyfriend ordered a breakfast burrito $13.48 with added chilis and he said it was very tasty. The icing on the cake is they have several TVs in there and the tennis channel was on and there was some live tennis going on, so we enjoyed watching that, sitting at the bar. We will be back probably during the French Open so we can watch more tennis!

And, they have been itching to get the wife and I there too. Well... mission accomplished! Initial impression, (do let the exterior fool you), was not overwhelming but I trust their judgement. Glad we did. Rustic, old west vibe grabs you by the poo poo upon entry. Lots of memorabilia, pics of Pappy himself, license plates from all over, as far away from as Canada!!! Excellent menu (wife got a salad, me the chicken sandwich), and both were delicious! Serving sizes are very large to boot. Other items ordered from our group were the Mac and Cheese, (I tried it and it's fabulous), Baby Back Ribs, Smashburger and Cowboy Combo. Those in our party raved about each of them. Service was spot on, especially since we had a group of 9. Indoor stage for nighttime entertainment purposes and an additional huge outdoor seating / dining area with associated stage for those nice desert days. (Not this time... it was well over 100 degrees when we were there). Highly recommended. Definitely a must next visit!
